Eve nodded, feeling the weight of the upcoming meeting settle into something manageable. Challenging, yes. Significant, absolutely. But manageable.
"What time is it now?" she asked.
"Just past seven in the morning," Silas said, checking the clock on the nightstand. "If we schedule the meeting for two this afternoon, that gives you seven hours to rest, eat and prepare."
"And me to drill you on specific protocols," Raphael added. "Isadora will be assessing everything....your bearing, your language choices, your understanding of Court customs. We should review the formal greeting structure, the appropriate modes of address, the...."
"After breakfast," Damian interrupted firmly, his alpha authority settling over the room. "And after she's rested properly. You're not drilling her when she can barely sit up without her entire body protesting."
