EASTERN BORDER
The Court representative stood exactly where she'd been when the wards first pinged....patient, composed, radiating the kind of power that came from centuries of existence and absolute certainty of her own position.
She was tall....nearly six feet in her formal Court boots.....with dark hair pulled into an intricate updo that was both elegant and practical. Her clothing was deep purple, the color of Traditional faction formal wear, cut in a style that was simultaneously modern and ancient. She carried herself with the bearing of someone who had stood in throne rooms and war councils and knew exactly how to navigate both.
Behind her, the three members of her entourage stood in perfect formation....two males flanking a younger female, all three dressed in matching dark colors, all three clearly trained guards rather than political attachés.
