The golden light of Hamon/ripple flickered over Tanjiro, faint yet dazzling.

!!! (×3)

All three stared in shock. If they weren't mistaken, this was the Ripple Breathing Technique!

Huff.

Tanjiro exhaled softly, deaf to Zenitsu's outcry; he'd slipped into utter focus.

Earlier, while watching with Zenitsu, a certain 'giant-breasted temptress' had flustered him so much that half his attention stayed on controlling his breath.

For Tanjiro, that was easy. When he'd fought Rui, he'd recalled his father's advice and shifted from Water Breathing to Sun Breathing.

Now, with Joseph Joestar's Ripple Breathing and his own talent,

he quickly grasped the basics, entered an almost mystical state, and produced the sight before them.

"So this is that Ripple stuff?" Inosuke reached out to touch the golden aura.

The instant his finger met it, a tingle shot through him—like static shock.

He yanked his hand back and stared at Tanjiro in wide-eyed wonder.

"Ah, everyone, what were you just saying?"

Because Inosuke had nudged him, Tanjiro snapped out of that mysterious state. His breathing paused for a moment, and the golden Hamon/ripple on his body vanished.

"...Tanjiro, do you know what you just did?" Agatsuma Zenitsu looked at Tanjiro as though doubting reality itself.

"Huh?" Tanjiro tilted his head, utterly bewildered. He hadn't done anything special—he'd simply adjusted his breathing according to the message Rengoku Kyojuro had sent.

Clearly, Tanjiro hadn't realized he'd used Hamon/ripple; it had been entirely unconscious.

Seeing Tanjiro like this, Rengoku Kyojuro said nothing more and quietly messaged Joseph Joestar privately.

Rengoku Kyojuro: "Mr. Joestar, one of my juniors—yes, the Tanjiro who appeared in the video—has already learned Ripple Breathing. What should we do next?"

JOJO World.

Joseph Joestar, who was currently teaching Jotaro and the others Ripple Breathing, blinked at the screen. So fast?! He'd only sent the materials half an hour ago.

This Tanjiro kid really reminded him of himself in his younger days!

Joseph Joestar: "That quickly? In my world, a solid Ripple strike is enough to kill a vampire."

Joseph Joestar: "Vampires fear sunlight by nature, and Ripple, which mimics the power of the sun, is their bane. But I don't know how things work in your world, so grab a demon and test it first."

Joseph Joestar: "If it doesn't finish them off right away, I'll send you a tougher training regimen to boost the Ripple."

The training method was simple, but since the two worlds differed, now that someone had learned Ripple, they might as well experiment.

He wanted to see whether Ripple from his world could harm the enemies in that world.

If it worked, it meant his side could likewise learn their techniques... Joseph glanced at Polnareff, who was frowning beside him, trying to make Silver Chariot perform Flame Breathing sword forms.

Stands didn't breathe, but that didn't mean they couldn't use sword techniques. The sword-master Polnareff, having seen Rengoku's Flame Breathing, intended to learn the otherworldly technique in his own way.

The scene shifted.

Back in the Demon Slayer World, Rengoku, having received Joseph's reply, felt it made sense.

He knew Ripple Breathing was powerful, but if it didn't work against demons, the Demon Slayer Corps couldn't promote it widely.

After all, killing demons was the corps' core mission.

Rengoku stood and said, "Tanjiro, come with me. We need to run a small experiment."

He hadn't expected that after passing Joseph's Ripple Breathing method to most of the Demon Slayer Corps—including the Hashira—

none had managed to learn it yet, and then Tanjiro succeeded within minutes. The boy truly possessed extraordinary talent.

"Yes, sir!" Without asking why, Tanjiro nodded earnestly and followed Rengoku out of the room, destination unknown.

Left behind, Inosuke and Zenitsu exchanged glances, then scrambled to their feet, staring at Rengoku's private chat window and training with everything they had.

They couldn't let Tanjiro leave them in the dust! They had to master that Ripple thing too!

Infinity Castle.

Kibutsuji Muzan narrowed his eyes at the comment section, where another 'Gilgamesh' had appeared.

This one's ID was [Wise King—Gilgamesh]. Though different from the earlier [Gilgamesh], Muzan was certain they were the same person.

Perhaps in the future there'd even be a [Child—Gilgamesh].

"Lord Muzan." A man with peach-pink short hair and deep-blue tattoos appeared.

"You and Kokushibo will find Tanjiro and bring him to me," Muzan said calmly. "Don't kill him. I'll turn him into a demon myself and record the moment to send to the Demon Slayer Corps."

"...Understood."

Akaza hesitated a moment before agreeing; part of him still didn't understand.

Why were Muzan and Kokushibo so fixated on one demon slayer? Even if he'd appeared in the multiverse projection, this seemed excessive.

"Go and return quickly." Muzan's tone was level. "Once we have Tanjiro, we'll remain inside Infinity Castle for a while; the Demon Slayer Corps will no longer matter."

"As you wish." Akaza nodded and, without another word, vanished.

Still too slow.

Watching Akaza leave, Muzan frowned slightly. If not for fear that Gilgamesh might cross worlds to kill her, she'd have gone to seize Tanjiro personally.

But thanks to Gilgamesh's warning, she chose caution and stayed inside Infinity Castle, dispatching her strongest instead.

All the Upper Moons except Doma were mobilized, their target: Tanjiro.

Only he—Muzan would personally turn him into a demon!

Then she'd use the multiverse projection to record it and let the Demon Slayer Corps see that this boy, who had mastered the original breathing and possessed limitless potential, was now on her side.

At the thought, Muzan smiled a vindictive smile.
