Chapter 94 — "The Sound of the End"
Michael was crying.
Tears ran down his cheeks in streaks of crimson, mixing with the blood of his severed arm. He looked up at Dante with wide, glassy eyes. His voice cracked like a child's, small and broken.
"Big brother… why?"
But Dante didn't speak.
He opened his mouth—and screamed.
It wasn't a scream of pain or fury. It was prime. Pure. Ancient. The cry of the Void Force itself. A scream so loud, so vast, so impossibly real it broke the laws of space and time. It surged through dimensions, splitting the sky into jagged veins of red lightning.
Across the world, people fell to their knees.
And beyond the world—it was heard.
Kara Danvers stopped mid-flight in National City, clutching her ears. Her heart ached with a grief she couldn't place.
Batwoman stumbled on a rooftop, eyes wide in horror as the echo tore through her like a blade.
On the Waverider, the Legends froze in their tracks. Time itself skipped a beat.
Every version of Earth felt it. Every hero across the multiverse paused, held still by the raw force of a single man's scream.
Dante stood in front of Michael like the eye of a collapsing storm.
His voice was low. Calm. Hollow.
"I'm going to rip you apart."
And then—he was gone.
He vanished, leaving only a sonic boom and a blur of red-black energy behind. Michael gasped—then choked—as Dante reappeared above him, slamming him into the ground so hard the surface cratered beneath them. Dante didn't pause.
He started punching.
Once. Twice. A hundred times.
Over and over again—his fists thundered down on Michael's face like meteors. The air warped. The ground cracked. Blood, shadow, and bone splattered into the void around them.
Michael cried out, wailing like a scared child—but Dante didn't stop.
He couldn't stop.
The Void Force was devouring him, now not just feeding, but consuming. His skin cracked, glowing with veins of red lightning. His body bled black and red. Every punch cost him pieces of himself—but he kept going.
He kept going because now, finally, he understood.
Michael had died long ago.
This thing in front of him—this monster—wasn't his brother.
It was something else. Something ancient. Something dark.
The Black Order.
And if Dante stopped now, it would win. He would die. And Leon would have died for nothing.
So he kept punching.
His bones shattered.
His arms began to unravel, piece by piece, eaten by the Void. He was burning alive from the inside.
Still, he punched.
Michael stopped screaming. His expression changed—calm, eerie, untouched by the blood and fire around him.
"You see…" Michael said softly, his voice barely audible beneath the chaos. "I died a long time ago."
He smiled again—serene, wicked.
"I came back… wrong. I killed them all. Every speedster across the multiverse. I blamed Leon. Our beautiful, stupid brother."
Dante froze, just for a breath.
Michael's voice was almost tender.
"But he wasn't the Black Order, Dante. I am."
He snapped his fingers.
Dante's body convulsed. Blood sprayed from his mouth and eyes. His body began to disintegrate violently, like reality no longer wanted him to exist.
Michael smiled, opening his mouth to speak—
CRACK.
Dante moved.
Faster than anything. Faster than pain.
He brought both arms together—what was left of them—and slammed his fists into Michael's face with enough force to shatter the planet's crust. The earth shook. The clouds above split open.
The blow rippled across the globe. The Earth's axis tilted.
Barry and the other felt it . This fight is the end of everything literally
The earth start to shake under each punch from dante
The sky start to trembli so strong
Jay looked at barry and spoke in horror " we can't stop him now. The void force literally eating him alive. The void force is like a black hole it has no end and no begging if it keeps going like this. The whole world will be shattered we need to save the people"
Barry understand that and he was about to run with jay but then they felt it
It was like some of Dante void force start to go inside the earth
In that moment dante body worked as a connector device
He took power from the void . Used some to fight and punch this monster and some used it to protect the world from shattering
Even in death dante protect the world
And he kept punching.
Again. And again. And again.
Even as his arms crumbled away.
Even as his legs dissolved.
Even as his skin peeled off in void-red flame.
He kept punching.
And then—they came.
One by one, breaches opened across the battlefield.
Kara flew through first, eyes wide with horror. Batwoman followed, cape snapping in the wind. The Legends. Team Arrow. Everyone who heard that scream—everyone who felt that pain—came.
And what they saw broke them.
Dante—what was left of him—was still fighting.
No arms. No legs. Half his face gone. His body a torn ruin of red lightning and shadow.
But he was still punching.
Still screaming.
Still burning.
His body was literally a force of void force no flesh no bones no anything
Just raw void force
Barry stepped forward, flanked by Caitlin and Cisco. He couldn't move. Couldn't breathe.
Oliver stood beside Kara. He looked down. His hands trembled.
No one knew what to say.
Then—
Michael's body stopped moving.
And so did Dante's.
The air was still.
There was silence.
Nothing left of Dante but a broken, bleeding torso. The Void had consumed nearly all of him—but somehow, he was still breathing.
He looked up—at all of them.
Then he looked back—at Leon.
His smile returned.
Soft. Tired.
Free.
He closed his eyes.
And this time… no nightmares came for him.
No fear. No rage.
Only peace.
