The moon was bright and the stars were few. The curtain of night fell upon Otto, swallowing his silhouette in darkness.
He was no longer in his usual white suit and black trousers, but was now dressed in his white and gold bishop's vestments.
The gaudy purple bishop's uniform from the original Otto didn't quite match the current Otto's aesthetic sensibilities.
Otto kept his right hand behind his back. The reason for the change in attire was to inspire the Valkyries present.
This way, they would dig with even more vigor.
Like athletes seeing their cheerleaders, the sight of that white and gold uniform made the Valkyries so excited they could barely keep their legs together.
It was the middle of the night. Otto stood atop a tall building, flanked by two powerful A-rank Valkyries. Fu Hua was not here; she was still tasked with protecting Kiana and Mei.
He looked down. On the ground below, a dozen or so Valkyries were digging a deep pit, the original ground now riddled with holes.
With Overseer Otto, the black-hearted foreman, supervising on-site, no one dared to slack off. In fact, flattered by the Lord Overseer's personal presence, the Valkyries were digging with soaring morale, looking like youths who had been brainwashed by a pyramid scheme.
Otto watched them.
He had to admit, the sight of dozens of beautiful young women, their rears pointed up as they dug a hole for him, was quite a splendid picture.
But Otto noticed one Valkyrie unearth a large stone. Instead of moving it, she simply smashed it to pieces with a single punch.
Otto's eyelid twitched.
These weren't beautiful maidens; they were humanoid Gundams.
His expression remained unchanged, however. If he was surprised by this, how could he ever hope to tame S-rank Valkyries and Herrschers in the future?
The night wind blew through his long, golden hair.
The surrounding populace had been evacuated. Otto was making such a grand display because he was searching for something of great importance.
They were excavating a lost Schicksal artifact from over five hundred years ago.
It was the Black Box that sealed the Herrscher of Corruption from the Previous Era.
And thanks to Kallen Kaslana's actions five hundred years ago, a certain pink-haired donkey was also sealed inside.
Otto was determined to have Yae Sakura.
(My wife.jpg)
Because possessing Yae Sakura was practically the same as possessing that legendary Divine Key that could get a novel censored—Jizo Mitama.
The power of the Key of Corruption was simply too immense. With Jizo Mitama, he could cripple the entirety of Anti-Entropy and a good half of World Serpent with that one Divine Key alone.
At that time, Tesla, Einstein, Cocolia, and Jackal would become puppets in Otto's hands, their personalities and dignity to be trampled and kneaded at his whim.
Because its power of corruption was something that even the technology of the Previous Era could not block.
Of course, it wasn't as if he would abandon Kiana, Mei, Bronya, and Rita for those old women.
Otto's eyes narrowed. In truth, Jizo Mitama posed a huge threat to him. His ability to revive could be countered by it.
He absolutely could not let anyone else get their hands on that Divine Key.
That pink donkey was truly Otto's nemesis.
Therefore, Otto would mete out her punishment.
He would make her complete the mission that Kallen never finished.

Just then, a sound came from below. All the Valkyries stopped digging and stood up.
They had found something.
Otto activated the Cecilia Stigmata. With his hands clasped behind his back, he leaped directly from the top of the building. Like a dragonfly skimming the water's surface, he landed gracefully on the ground.
The surrounding Valkyries stirred with excitement.
Schicksal had two great idols: Durandal and Otto. Durandal was the benchmark for all Valkyries, while Otto was their spiritual leader.
And because Otto was a rare male at Schicksal HQ, handsome and possessing an otherworldly charisma, many Valkyries who had interacted with him considered him their first love. A love that, in the past, was tragically unattainable.
Otto gave the girls around him a slight smile.
The eyes of several girls even began to form dangerous-looking heart symbols.
Overseer Otto is definitely smiling at me!
Standing among these Valkyries whose names he didn't even know, Otto walked forward. In a deep pit, a black box lay quietly.
He squatted in front of it. Otto had given prior instructions that if they found a black box-like object, they were absolutely not to touch it.
Looking at the box, its surface shimmering with a dark, black light, Otto took out a handkerchief. He wrapped it around the box and then carefully lifted it into his hands.
It wasn't that the handkerchief could block the corruption; it was simply that the box was covered in dirt, and Otto found it a bit distasteful.
Sealed inside, it was difficult for the Herrscher of Corruption to project its power outward. Only by absorbing enough Honkai energy could it and Yae Sakura get out.
But as long as he was in Nagazora, Otto would not let them out.
This was the third bomb.
Bomb #1 - Herrscher of Thunder. Bomb #2 - Herrscher of the Void. Bomb #3 - Herrscher of Corruption. This was getting more and more absurd.
So as not to interfere with the detonation of the first bomb, the latter two had to be disarmed first, lest the Will of the Honkai decide to descend upon them.
Once he was back on Schicksal turf, he could properly deal with these two vixen.
"You have all done very well," Otto praised the Valkyries.
"Now, restore this place to its original state."
Fill in all the holes you dug.
"Yes, sir!" the Valkyries replied, without a single complaint.
After giving his orders, Otto nodded in satisfaction. He sealed the black box in a special container that could isolate Honkai energy. He didn't have it sent to Schicksal HQ, as he was worried something might happen along the way.
He placed the container in a waist pouch, then carried it back to the hotel room.
Fu Hua was still leaning against the wall. Even though Otto had been gone, she hadn't taken the opportunity to rest on the bed for a bit.
After all, that was the bed Otto had slept in. In her heart, Fu Hua was still a little repulsed by the idea.
Seeing Otto return, she looked at the pouch in his hand and frowned.
"What is that?"
She had a strange sense of familiarity.
Otto didn't answer. He looked at Fu Hua and said, "Old friend, lift up your shirt."
He spoke like a common pervert. Fu Hua frowned slightly but ultimately did as he said, lifting her top with both hands to reveal a fair, flat stomach and a cute navel.
Otto stared at the Celestial's abdomen. It looked firm, yet there was no trace of muscle definition.
I really want to poke the Celestial's belly button.
But Otto didn't dare.
He came before Fu Hua and fastened the pouch containing the black box around her waist.
His fingers deliberately brushed against the skin of the Celestial's waist a few times. Otto's heart hammered in his chest, terrified that she would send a fist flying at him.
Fu Hua frowned slightly but said nothing. She didn't find his actions frivolous; the wooden-headed Celestial just thought it tickled a little.
"Inside is a half-finished Divine Key."
Hearing Otto's words, Fu Hua's expression changed. She realized the importance of the object now attached to her.
Why does this Otto always shove his troublesome matters onto me!?
"Protect it," Otto said, pulling Fu Hua's shirt back down, covering and concealing the pouch.
However, Otto raised his eyebrows.
Because he realized...
At that moment, the Celestial looked just like a pregnant woman.
Her originally ethereal, otherworldly aura was now tinged with a hint of humanity because of her bulging stomach.
"Here, you are the person I trust the most," Otto said with an unchanging smile.
After all, compared to anyone else, the possibility of the Celestial being corrupted was extremely low.
Fu Hua nodded, saying nothing more. It wasn't the first time she had cleaned up Otto's messes, anyway.
But Otto revealed a smile. He raised a hand and gently stroked Fu Hua's bulging stomach through her clothes.
"Just think of this as our child."
"You're the mother. You have to protect our child."
