The man's movements were gentle, yet executed in one fluid motion.
After finishing the task on Bronya, Otto took a moment to snap a few photos for posterity. He truly never imagined he would encounter Bronya, one of the original trio, this early on.
Nagazora City was supposed to be Mei's home turf, yet here he was without having seen a single hair of hers.
He briefly reviewed the photos he'd taken. Bronya was truly adorable.
Otto smiled, then uploaded all the pictures to the Schicksal database and encrypted them.
However, he did notice that the friendship points he gained this time were fewer than the last.
Honestly, he had always been suspicious of these green friendship points, but he couldn't quite articulate why.
Unfortunately, he had only completed three daily missions, so the sample size for comparison was far too small. It seemed he would just have to persevere in completing missions and become a true mission master.
Lounging on a chair in his room, Otto chose not to do anything untoward to Bronya.
Even though she had intended him harm.
But this was the first time, so he would forgive her.
It will not happen again.
Still, looking at Bronya's lovely sleeping face, Otto couldn't help but sigh in admiration. Only a beauty of this caliber was worthy of him.
Heh heh, a gorgeous belle in the room next door, and a cute loli stashed away in here. This life is getting so good it ought to be illegal.
But, what was he going to do when Bronya woke up?
Bronya's weakness was glaringly obvious. She valued Seele above all else, so as long as he held Seele in his grasp, Bronya would be unable to defy him.
The problem was, Seele was still floating around in the Sea of Quanta.
Therefore, he had to cleverly leverage the idea of Seele.
As he mused, the night grew deeper, but Otto felt no trace of drowsiness. Ever since becoming Overseer Otto, he felt he had become much calmer and more composed.
Was it this Soul Steel body restraining him, or was it the identity of the Schicksal Overseer that bound him?
Otto couldn't find an answer. Regardless of the past, he was the Schicksal Overseer now.
He took a stack of blank paper from a cabinet, picked up a pen, and after a moment's hesitation, finally put it to paper.
Time flowed by. Otto finished drawing what he wanted to show Bronya, and after checking it over with an innocent eye, he nodded in satisfaction.
Then, after some deliberation, he wrote a title on the top sheet.
[Bronya's Wedding]
He placed the stack of finished drawings beside Bronya, then sat back down in his seat to quietly await her awakening.
After a short wait, Otto glanced at Bronya on the bed and saw her body tremble slightly.
Bronya shot upright. She looked all around, grasping the situation in a single second.
She was not bound in any way, but there was no doubt her mission had failed and she had been captured.
However, she was not one to simply sit and await her fate.
Though she had left her mobility-assisting exoskeleton downstairs to maintain her cover as an ordinary disabled girl, she still had the treasure Seele had given her.
Behind her, a massive phantom began to coalesce, on the verge of becoming a physical entity.
"If you fully materialize Project Bunny, I will temporarily consider you an enemy."
Otto's voice cut through Bronya's actions.
Bronya's head snapped toward the only other man in the room. Before she lost consciousness, she remembered being taken down by this man who looked like a grade-A pervert.
But how did he know about Project Bunny?!
That was a treasure given to her by Seele. Not even Cocolia knew her tactical armor was called Project Bunny!
Bronya stared intently at Otto's handsome face. She could swear that today was the first time she had ever seen this man.
"Who... are you?"
Bronya asked, her voice devoid of inflection. The image of Project Bunny behind her returned to its quantum state. She did not make a rash move; this blond man was simply too bizarre.
"Bronya, I have no intention of making you an enemy, nor do I wish to harm you."
Otto calling her by name made Bronya narrow her eyes. She could sense he knew her.
Could it be? Was their meeting in the convenience store a trap he had laid for her from the start?
"My name is Otto. However, you may call me... the [Seer]."
Otto? A very common name.
But what does 'Seer' mean?
Bronya watched Otto as he continued with a smile.
"I can foresee everything in the future."
"You may not believe it, but, Bronya, you can look at the item beside your leg."
"That is my book of prophecies."
Otto pointed to the item lying near Bronya's leg. Bronya noticed the stack of white paper and picked it up. The title alone was enough to make her frown.
My Wedding?
She couldn't understand.
Bronya looked up at Otto again, but he remained silent, simply gesturing with his hand for her to keep reading.
Her gaze returned to the papers in her hand. Bronya flipped to the next page, her frown deepening.
"This is... a comic?"
Bronya looked quizzically at the drawings. She was no stranger to comics, being a faithful reader of the Homu manga series.
But this thing in her hands was incredibly crude. There were no backgrounds or scenery drawn; they were simply noted with text. This was basically just a rough draft.
Bronya touched it with her finger; the ink wasn't even dry.
When she saw the content, her brows knitted together.
[Otto proposes to Bronya, and Bronya, weeping tears of joy, accepts his proposal.]
That was the gist of the first page.
Even the perpetually sharp Bronya was caught off guard.
She lifted her head, looked at Otto, and said in her flat tone.
"Did Liu, Guan, and Zhang become sworn brothers just because you said so?"
Otto just smiled, gesturing for her to continue reading.
Though, compared to Liu, Guan, and Zhang, he much preferred Cao Cao.
Bronya frowned but still flipped to the next page.
[Otto wants to give Bronya a grand wedding, but he refuses to use her money. He works hard, but still can't save enough.]
Bronya continued flipping, and then her eyes flew wide open.
Because she saw Seele!
The drawing of Seele looked exactly like the Seele from her memories, though her chest was drawn a bit on the large side.
To draw her so accurately meant that this man, Otto, had seen Seele!

Though Bronya's face remained a mask of indifference, her breathing quickened ever so slightly.
But the plot that followed left Bronya completely stunned.
[Seele approaches the cash-strapped Otto, offering to provide the funds for him and Big Sister Bronya. After Otto agrees, the seemingly innocent Seele actually kisses him!]
