Robert's Point of View
I left the office carrying the file under my arm; my mind was occupied with the company meeting, but the image of "Axel" sleeping in my room made me stop.
I headed there, and as soon as I opened the door, I found that he had woken up; he approached me, wagging his tail as usual, so I patted his back with light strokes and said:
"Come on, let's go to your new friend."
He walked behind me in the hallway, his claws making a rhythmic sound on the marble floor until we reached Julie's room.
I pushed the door open without preamble, finding her sitting behind her small desk. She jerked in her seat and looked at me sharply, saying:
"Can't you ask for permission before entering?"
A devious smile formed on my lips, and I rested my body in a confident stance against the doorframe, saying:
"I don't ask for permission to enter my own property, Julie."
