Waking up to a soft sucking sensation to my neck i find that sylveon is giving me a hickey and nibbles as her body is still connected to mine.
" good morning my mate," she says as she looks at me and I give her a kiss saying, " good morning."
We stop and look at each other before we say, " you/i can understand me/you!"
" yes, somehow," I say looking at sylveon as I try to get up but sylveon moans as we're still connected. Pulling myself out her cookie instantly clamps shut keeping most of my seed inside her but a small dribble does leak out.
" mmm. So full," she says as she hops off me and I start to grab stuff for a bath. Grabbing a pot and a tarp along with soap and a wash rags i exit the tent. Filling the small pot with water I start another fire for breakfast and to boil the water for a warm scrub down.
As the water boils i fix in another small pot some instant oatmeal using the canteen water i have. Grabbing some simple oran berries as well as some sitrus berries i but them up and and them to the pokechow for my Pokémon along with some dry oatmeal, and i also add some oran berries to the oatmeal.
I release my Pokémon telling them its breakfast and they all eat with vigorously like I haven't fed them.
" seriously, you all could just show some restraint and manners," I say as sylveon nods as she eats hers with poise of a lady.
" but it's so good," all my Pokémon say at the same time and I just nod thinking, ' so the ability to talk with pokemon isn't just limited to fairy types. Good to know.'
After finishing breakfast I start using the hot water in my second pot to start giving myself a scrub down so I at least don't stink. Shortly after finishing up we all start breaking down camp and I decide that chikorita and Scorbunny would be traveling outside their pokeballs today. I leave the hidden cave with my Pokémon and we continue up the river to viridian city. We didn't meet that many pokemon as we walked down the route but there were a few trainers that were coming from viridian city or spinner town that's west of viridian city deep in the forest and holds one of the two bug type gyms for the region.
" hey, wanna battle, " says a teenage dressed in basic gear as he holds up a net ball.
" sure how many pokemon you got, and can I record this match?" I ask politely as he nods and replies.
" I got two pokemon at the ready and newly caught while my partner im leaving out of this, and sure don't mind the recording guessing your studying something," he asks as he releases a large beetle like pokemon that has a huge horn and it hovers above the ground slightly before landing.
" fine by me, so two on two and yeah I'm actually a junior professor," I say as I pull out my pokedex.

Description: commonly found in most regions and having several regional variations and/or subspecies these large beetles are formidable foes.

" well damn, didn't expect that but shouldn't have been surprised," I say as I send in Scorbunny. She excitedly hops into the field and I place my pokedex/ recorder on recording and clip it to my chest.
" seltas use agility, then horn barrage." Says the trainer as his seltas starts lifting off the ground and glows blue before rocketing towards Scorbunny.
" okay Scorbunny dodge then use ember," I say as she dodges barely and uses ember to try and hit the seltas but it misses. The seltas continues forward before flying straight up and comes rocketing back towards Scorbunny. Hitting her and driving her into a tree. She falls to the ground as the seltas cones back to a hover before the trainer says, " now goop shot." The seltas shoots three sticky fluid field shots from a stinger on its underside and i tell Scorbunny to dodge them. She does so and I have her use ember once again and then leer. Hitting the seltas with a leer bringing its defense down by one the ember hits its huge horn and cracks it slightly.
" horn barrage again seltas, " says the trainer having the seltas go after Scorbunny once more. I have Scorbunny dodge two times getting it lined up to dodge one final time causing the seltas to ram itself into a boulder in the field getting its horn stuck. The trainer panics slightly and I bring favorite to the fortunate event by having Scorbunny use work up as well as ember causing the horn to break off damaging the seltas and grounding it before I have her use ember once more finishing it.
" well damn, I got trashed, on that one, " says the trainer recalling the wounded seltas," at least I'll know by its next molt the horn will be back."
" true I'd also focus on area awareness on that Pokémon. Seltas without their female evolution are highly vulnerable even though thier speed and attack stats are larger than most bug types." I say giving him some advice as he nods and releases a normal spinark.

Title: the tiny spider pokemon
Description: spinark usually live in colonies around the darkest areas of forests. Their sticky webs are highly sought after by fashion designers and engineers due to their tensile strength and durability.
" nice, always liked spinarks," I say sending in chikorita while recalling Scorbunny. Scorbunny eats an oran berry she had on her as chikorita battles the spinark.
" sticky web then poison sting," says the trainer as his spinark launches a ball of webs into the air and having it cover a large area as it slowly falls. Chikorita dodges the poison sting but gets stuck in the web when it lands. I have her launch a leafage to intercept the next set of poison sting attack but she starts to struggle against the web and gets hit with a second volley. She's launched out of the web and lands away from the spinark and she struggles to stand as a purple tint coats her cheeks.
"Damn, slowed and poisoned," I say under my breath as I have her launch another set of leafage. The spinark easily evades before it launches at string shot and using it like a grappling hook and landing on chikorita before it uses infestation like it was commanded.
Chikorita steals in panic as its body is hit by tiny bugs and soon falls unconscious on the ground. I sigh recalling her at my bad match up and send back in Scorbunny who then beats the spinark but not without injuries once again.
" damn that was a hairy fight, " I say as he laughs. He hands me 600 pokedollars as he says, " yeah I agree, spinark is actually one of my better pokemon as I'm familiar with them due to my friend being the gym leader in spinner town. Got to check it out he'll help you out on setup style fighting."
" plan on it, especially since im considering on taking the indigo prism challenge." I reply as he laughs again.
" damn no one has taken that challenge since red, blue, and leaf. Got some big shoes to fill," he says before he leaves me to continue his own journey.
Several hours later I'm in viridian city having my Pokémon healed up by one of the nurse joy's chansey while filling out my report for professor oak. My wallet slightly heavy due to the amount of winnings I had from trainers and the raticate and ratatta bounties. Five wins on one-one battles and two on two-two battles netted me a total of 2100 pokedollars rank up from z rank to y rank. A beginner's start but it's not that bad.
I stop typing my report and think back to some of my studies specifically the ranking system of the regions. Every trainer starts at rank Z and fight all three way to rank A. An idea that started in kalos and spread like wildfire fire amongst the other regions. All gym leaders have a bracket they go with separated for different ranks and can even deny under ranked trainers from participating in thier gyms. It also affects the rewards system and payouts on matches. Gyms give out a base of 10,000 pokedollars but that amount increases by 5,000 pokedollars with every gym until it's capped at 50,000 pokedollars. The ranks give out a set amount as well being Z-rank at 300 per pokemon battled and increasing 150 every rank up. Fighting a person one rank above you pays out 100 more pokedollars and it doubles for every rank above you. There are also several brackets amongst the ranks.

To progress through the ranks there is a point system for each battle and loss. Winning against a z rank trainer nets you 25 points per trainer not pokemon and to progress to y rank one must have 150 points. Loosing is the same as gaining for each rank meaning if I lost a battle I'd loose 25 points, but if I was say rank v and lost to a rank z trainer id loose points for my rank being 300 points for that loss while that trainer would get my bracket win.
Anyway continuing my first report I add in my battles and the strategies I used and my opponents used along with video files and my own opinions on what could be done to better my team while also giving my advice to other trainers as well. Finishing the battle part I go on to report my Pokémon's individual behavior as well as their food preferences for my breeder side of the report. Sending it on off to professor oak for evaluation and his opinions and judgement, I get my keyboard from nurse joy who returned my Pokémon giving a clean bill of health. Going to my room and setting my stuff down before taking my Pokémon for dinner in the cafeteria.
" I should call home," I say as my Pokémon start eating the pokechow that was given by the cafeteria workers as I eat my burger and fries. Who knew paldean tauros beef patties could be this good.
