Ye Chengtian and the other three! Each had a travel bag on their back…
They'd gotten the travel bags from a travel gear shop nearby, to make it easier to carry supplies while searching for food.
Besides Ye Chengtian, who carried a Steel Pipe, the other three each held a baseball bat. After all, in this world teeming with Zombies, who would go out without a weapon to defend themselves?
They soon arrived near a Convenience Store…
"Brother Tian… The door to that Convenience Store is open! There probably isn't anyone inside, right?" Ye Hai whispered to Ye Chengtian.
"Don't let your guard down… Let's go over there first! Later, Xiaohai and I will sneak inside to check things out. You two stay alert outside! If we don't find anyone inside, we'll call you…" Ye Chengtian said, looking at Ye Yanmei and Ye Xiaoqing.
"Understood… Brother Tian!" The two women nodded in response.
Then, Ye Chengtian bent down and slowly walked towards the entrance of the Convenience Store, with Ye Hai following behind him!
At this moment, Ye Chengtian suddenly took out a Mirror from his pocket. He had asked Ye Yanmei for it earlier, and now it came in handy!
Ye Chengtian held the Mirror and extended it to the side of the door, moving it up, down, left, and right, observing the situation inside the Convenience Store from the Mirror! Finally, confirming that no one was inside, he waved his hand at Ye Hai, signaling him to follow…
Although he had observed from the Mirror that no one was inside the shop, nothing was absolute! There could be errors or someone hiding, so Ye Chengtian cautiously walked in slowly…
The shop was a mess, with debris scattered everywhere! It was obvious that someone had searched the place before. There were also some scattered biscuits, candies, and other snacks on the shelves, which should have been left behind because the person couldn't take them all.
After finally confirming that no one else was hiding inside the shop, Ye Hai went outside the door and called Ye Yanmei and Ye Xiaoqing to come in and pack food…
Fifteen minutes later, Ye Chengtian and the others had searched the entire shop but hadn't found any other food or water! There were only some biscuits and candies.
"Don't look anymore… This Convenience Store is only this big! If there was any more food, we would have found it already. While it's still early, let's go search the next place!" Seeing the three of them still searching around, Ye Chengtian spoke, then walked out of the shop.
Hearing Ye Chengtian's words, Ye Hai and the other two stopped searching and followed him out of the Convenience Store…
Ye Chengtian and the others had just walked out of the Convenience Store when a gust of wind blew through, carrying a piece of paper that fluttered in front of them…
Ye Hai, who was already in a bad mood from not finding any food, saw the paper drifting in front of him the moment he stepped outside. In frustration, he grabbed it, wanting to vent his anger…
"Damn… Is the owner of this place an idiot? In a world like this, with zombies roaming everywhere! Why open a business now? Even if you earned all the money in the world, there's nowhere to spend it!" Ye Hai spread out the paper in his hand and examined it, realizing it was a flyer. He scoffed.
"Wait, let me see…" Ye Hai was just about to tear up the flyer when Ye Chengtian suddenly stopped him.
"Brother Tian… What's up with this flyer?" Hearing Ye Chengtian's words, Ye Hai, though puzzled, still handed the flyer over.
Ye Chengtian took the flyer from Ye Hai, first instructing everyone to go back into the Convenience Store, before carefully examining the flyer…
He didn't dare to stand on the street openly reading it. Did they really think those Zombies were blind? Besides, four people standing together, even if they couldn't see, they could still smell them…
