In the Pokemon Dark City gym, Ash thought about this as in the original, where two people were fighting over opening an official gym. In this timeline the syther opened an official gym here.
I go to the gym, as I saw a big guy named Karo.
Karo: I am the gym leader of Karo Gym. Are you ready to fight me?
Ash nods as he comes to the battleground.
Ash: Yeah, I am.
Karo: Okay, then this will be a 3-on-3 battle. I choose you, golem.
A big rock Pokémon comes ready to fight.
Ash: i choose you Warturtle.
Soon a turtle Pokémon comes.
Karo: huh a water Pokémon. I knew you'd choose something like that. then he smirk and says, "Golem, use rollout."
Ash: Wartortle, use water gun at the ground.
Soon Wartortle used Water Gun at the ground as he flew at the sky by force. avoinding golem rollout attack.
Karo: What!
Ash: Now Wartortle, use ice beam.
Wartortle used ice beam on Golem and froze him completely.
Karo: Golem breaks the ice.
golem breaks the ice immediately.
Karo: You are not like other trainers. who shit out after knowing their attack won't work.
Apparently, Karo defeated many trainers by this trick.
Karo: Golem uses rock throw.
Ash: Wartortle, use Aqua Jet.
golem throw big rocks at wartortle as wartortle whole body surround by water as he attacks golem. He dodged all the rocks the golem threw at him as he attacked the golem with his powerful aqua jet.
Karo shocked: akk
Golem hit the ground as spirals came into her eyes.
Ash: Very good, Wartortle.
Wartortle: Wartortle...
Karo, with a smile, said, "You are really a good Pokémon trainer, Ash."
Karo: Go, Kingler!

Ash: Ivysaur, use leaf storm.
Ivysaur gets hit by a powerful hydropump as kingler also get hit by a leaf storm attack.
both pokemon standing wounded. soon kinler fell on ground.
Ash: well done ivysaur we do-
as Ash was saying suddenly a white light envelop in ivysaur body as he evolved into a venasaur.
very well. you finally ivolved ivysaur: ash said
tch: karo said
karo: okay now go syther.
ash: a syther huh.
okay venasaur use vine whip: ash said
syther dodge it with agility.
venasaur attack syther with vine whip attack but syther dodge all of it by agility.
karo: venasaur is heavy and slow pokemon ash. he can't be able to defeat my syther.
ash: is that so. venasaur use fenzy plant.
soon venusaur lift his two legs and pressed them on ground again. soon big roots come from ground as attacking systher.
syther dodge them all: garo
syther started to dodge all the fenzy palnt attack as he cut them too.
venusaur now use sweet scent.
soon a very good aroma fill the ground.
syther also smell the aroma as his head go blank for a sec. soon a fanzy plant wrapped syther leg.
syther: karo screamed.
but soon more plant come and wrapped all of systher body. especiaaly his hands.
venasaur now end this with petal dance attack.
soon venasaur come running at systher.
syther seeing this his face get darkned. venusaur clash with systher taking some damage. but systher clash on ground as spiral come into his eyes.
syther can't fight anymore that means ash wins.
karo take syther into his pokeball again and come to ash.
you are really a amazing triner ash. i never thought you use sweet scent for counter to sycther speed.
