Hulk's roar threw the scene into deeper chaos.
Bullets rained on Hulk from all directions.
Rat-a-tat-tat-tat.
Initially, Steve hadn't wanted Hulk to transform. Hulk lacked restraint.
Steve had sensed something was wrong, but many of the agents were familiar faces. He didn't want to cause massive casualties among them.
But the bullet that hit Banner's chest shattered the peace. It made Steve realize clearly: these people were enemies now. He stopped holding back.
The bullets aimed at Hulk naturally strafed the bewildered Gwen and Harry nearby.
Thanks to her Spider-Sense, Gwen rolled and leaped away, easily dodging the kill zone. She shot a web line, snagging the dazed Harry and pulling him along.
Even so, a few stray bullets hit Harry. But the Venom suit covering him blocked them effortlessly.
The grotesque Venom head on his shoulder even chewed on the bullets with disdain before spitting them out.
"What's happening? Everything was fine a second ago! Aren't these SHIELD agents? Why are they attacking us?"
Harry, being dragged away by Gwen, rambled in confusion.
But he didn't need anyone to explain. Venom opened his wide mouth and engulfed Harry's head, mumbling excitedly.
"Idiot! These are definitely Hydra! Haha, Harry! We can kill them all!!"
Venom didn't eat Harry's head because he was hungry for brains.
In an instant, the Venom "mask" covered Harry's face.
Venom Harry's body bulked up, transforming into a muscular black-and-white monster.
"Hey! Wait!!"
Venom Harry vaguely heard a shout from behind, but he ignored it. Like a mini-Hulk, he grinned with a mouth full of sharp teeth and charged at the firing agents.
Venom Harry moved like lightning. With a massive leap...
BOOM.
He landed in the middle of a group of agents, shattering the marble floor.
His arm morphed into a long black scythe. He spun.
The agents firing wildly were sliced in half at the waist. Blood sprayed everywhere.
Just as an excited Venom prepared to leap at the next group, a faint Splat sound came from behind him.
Puzzled, Venom twisted his head 180 degrees backward.
He realized his sudden leap had yanked Gwen, who was still connected to him by the web line she used to save Harry, flying through the air.
"Little girl, you need more practice!"
"Spider-Man wasn't like this!"
Venom grinned, grew a small "knife" from his body, and cut the web line.
Then he roared and leaped away again.
As he left, Harry's reluctant complaining could be heard fading into the distance.
"Venom, next time can you NOT twist my head backward? It's scary! It doesn't hurt, but it feels like I died!"
"And Gwen is my classmate! You'll scare her! By the way, who is this Spider-Man you keep mentioning? Does he have spider powers like Gwen? Does he shoot webs too?"
Venom Harry's voice was drowned out by gunfire and roars.
Gwen shook her head helplessly but quickly joined the fray.
Compared to Venom Harry's bloody violence, Gwen was gentler.
After accidentally kicking an agent so hard he flew into a wall and cracked it like a spiderweb, she switched to using webs to neutralize enemies.
Of course, aside from Gwen, the others weren't so soft.
Hulk, enraged, turned enemies into pancakes with every punch.
Even Steve and Natasha fought to kill or maim.
As "normal humans" under heavy fire, holding back meant risking their own lives.
Because the team fought without mercy, the Hydra agents in the base didn't last long. In the blink of an eye, most were dead or incapacitated.
Just as Natasha saw the enemies were down and prepared to calm Hulk...
And then interrogate the survivors about the ambush...
A series of deafening booms came from the direction of the Otherworld Intruder Prison.
Natasha and Steve exchanged looks of shock and grim realization.
"The prisoners broke out!!"
As the booming got closer, a wall on the side of the lobby suddenly bulged outward.
Then.
BOOM!
The wall exploded.
Amidst the dust, a monster with gray skin and a massive horn on his head, resembling a humanoid rhinoceros, appeared.
"Rhino!"
The Rhino scanned the room, said nothing, lowered his head, and charged.
Despite his bulk, he was fast.
Every step pulverized the marble floor. Hydra corpses in his path exploded into bloody mist under his feet.
Like a heavy tank, the mad Rhino charged straight at Hulk.
BOOM———
Two beasts collided. The air seemed to compress and explode from the impact.
White shockwaves rippled out.
The ground beneath them shattered.
The shockwave shattered all the glass in the lobby.
However.
The seemingly equal clash lasted less than half a second.
Hulk's veins bulged. His muscles swelled further.
With a roar, he lifted the massive Rhino and threw him into the air.
"ROAR—— HULK——"
