Chapter 36 - Chapter 36: Yondu

What Kytheron didn't know was that the suspected space pirates he had just startled away were actually the notorious Raiders team in the Universe.

And the ones who had just fled were a branch of the Raiders, but none of that was the main point.

The main point was that the team included someone Kytheron was familiar with: Yondu, Star-Lord's "biological father," who kills with his mouth.

He was currently helping Ego across the Universe to find his scattered seeds.

"That was terrifying! Good thing we ran fast, that was a dragon, right! It could ignore the vacuum of space and still cause such terrifying destruction!"

"Even if our spaceship crashed into an asteroid of that magnitude, we wouldn't fare well!"

"But that guy smashed the asteroid to pieces with just his body, is that really a living creature?"

At this moment, on the Raiders' spaceship, a group of mercenaries were intensely discussing the scene they had just witnessed with Kytheron.

"Yondu, do you think your Yaka Arrow could kill that guy?"

At this moment, Kraglin walked over and quietly asked Yondu, who was standing by the window.

"If I could kill him, would I have let you jump through space to escape?"

"Otherwise, I would have already sent you to capture him. That kind of creature is The Collector's favorite."

"That richest bastard in the Universe would surely offer a generous reward."

Yondu also recalled what Kytheron looked like when he saw him just now.

His eyes shot out crimson rays, directly piercing and pulverizing the asteroid, and there was that overbearing physique.

"What a terrifying monster!"

Yondu pulled a small flask from his pocket and took a big gulp of wine.

"Speaking of which, Ego is really prolific!"

"How many thousands of children has that kid been that we've helped him find over the years!"

Kraglin said, looking at the purple-skinned humanoid who was enthusiastically chatting with the Raiders.

"These are not our concerns. Since Ego is willing to pay a high price for me to bring back his children scattered across the Universe, we just do our job for the money!"

Yondu still didn't know Ego's purpose for having him find these children.

In Yondu's mind, this child, originally just a native of a Planet, would soon have a God father as his backer, which was something many people yearned for but couldn't get.

For interstellar mercenaries like them, whose lives weren't a constant dance with danger?

If Yondu knew he had such a rich and powerful biological father, he would undoubtedly seek him out immediately.

However, Yondu didn't know that all the children he had helped Ego find over the years had already become withered bones and lost souls.

To Ego, children who didn't inherit his God Power genes were useless and could only become his nourishment.

In the hundreds of thousands of years since he became his current life Planet form, he had scattered countless life seeds of his own across the Universe in various species forms.

However, very few children were able to inherit his own God Power genes.

Ego wanted to use these children who inherited his God Power to help him devour more Planets and become an even more powerful existence.

Unfortunately, over the years, 99.9% of the children found were just useless ordinary life forms, and the very few who could inherit his God Power died after awakening it because their bodies couldn't withstand it.

Therefore, all these children of his became his nourishment, and now, outside the core of his Planet body, there were already corpses everywhere and piles of white bones!

"Alright, let's not think too much for now. We'll talk after we deliver this child to his father and collect our commission."

Yondu said to Kraglin.

Immediately, their spaceship began another space jump.

Kytheron was unaware of this small interlude; at this moment, he had already told the Little Elves about his impending departure.

Hearing this news made many of the Little Elves, who had grown accustomed to Kytheron's presence, feel a sense of reluctance.

Each of them looked as if they were about to cry.

Their expressions were such that an uninformed person might have thought Kytheron had abandoned them!

He received the newly produced sun god crystal from the Elder.

Then, he put the sun disc into his system space, and then took a goblet with a super large capacity, a gift from the Elves.

This was a gift all the Little Elves had prepared for Kytheron together.

The cup had a magical spell cast upon it; it looked like a small cup, but it contained a small lake's worth of Elven fine wine.

"Kytheron, if you get a chance, go to Midgard!"

"The mages there have mastered a wonderful teleportation magic. Although it still differs somewhat from Asgard's Bifrost Bridge, it allows you to teleport freely to any known place in this Universe."

"The Elven Kingdom welcomes your arrival at any time."

Before leaving, Sylphania told Kytheron about the portal magic mastered by the Earth mages.

Indeed, for Kytheron, other magic was optional, but this portal magic was the most practical.

Kytheron remembered that when he watched the Marvel movies, in Avengers: Endgame, after being revived by Hulk's snap, Doctor Strange directly opened a portal to teleport everyone from Titan to Earth.

This indicates that this teleportation magic can cross interstellar distances.

The only possible limitation might be that the caster himself needs to have visited the destination on the other side of the portal.

However, this limitation is no limitation at all.

"Sylphania, even if you didn't say so, I would go. That's the most interesting place in the entire Universe, so we'll see each other next time!"

After speaking, Kytheron found the open space where Thor had been teleported back, and stood on the huge Rune Magic mark.

He shouted to the sky, "Heimdall, I know you can hear me, please open the Bifrost Bridge for me!"

As Kytheron's voice fell.

The sky above the Elven Kingdom suddenly changed, and a huge seven-colored beam of light descended from the sky, directly engulfing Kytheron.

In an instant, the light beam, along with Kytheron, disappeared, leaving behind only the re-freshed mark.

"Kytheron, you have awakened your God Power, haven't you?"

Heimdall's first words upon seeing Kytheron were a direct question.

Kytheron, who was in the midst of his bloodline sublimation, had no idea how much of a stir his actions had caused in this Universe.

"That's right, genuine Sun God Power."

Kytheron didn't hide it. For Heimdall, a rather taciturn man, if he asked this question, it meant his eyes must have seen something.

"It's truly a miracle."

Heimdall stared at Kytheron for a long time before uttering this exclamation.

"By the way, Heimdall, if I wanted to use the Bifrost Bridge to go to Midgard, would that be possible?"

Seizing the opportunity, Kytheron inquired of Asgard's guardian.

"Yes, you are a distinguished guest personally spoken of by His Majesty the God King."

Heimdall answered Kytheron very straightforwardly.

"Thank you, Heimdall! I'll treat you to a drink sometime."

After getting the answer he wanted, Kytheron felt very pleased.

And now, what he needed to do was to intensively study Rune Magic knowledge.
