Chapter 22 - Chapter 22 Overturning the Arena

Thor admitting defeat in front of everyone instantly reignited the audience's passion.

"Kytheron! Kytheron! Kytheron!"

Immediately, everyone spontaneously began chanting Kytheron's name.

The audience's enthusiasm slightly diluted the sadness in Thor's heart.

Thor was not cunning; while he could be impulsive at times, he was certainly not petty.

Kytheron had defeated him fair and square, so he was thoroughly convinced of his loss, but admitting defeat did not mean Thor had truly given up!

However, as Thor looked at mjolnir in his hand and Kytheron beside him, a hint of resentment, which should not have appeared on him, entered his eyes.

Kytheron naturally saw it, but he didn't have time to explain to him just yet.

Because he found that defeating Thor again did not recharge his treasure chest.

So, he turned his gaze to The Warriors Three outside the arena and Loki, the second prince, standing in the corner.

Although Thor's initial challenge had disrupted his original plan, Kytheron was not prepared to let them off the hook.

"Volstagg, Hogun, Fandral, Sif, and of course, Asgard's second prince, Loki, you are all Thor's best friends, aren't you!"

"And all the Asgardian warriors present, your prince has been defeated! Now I give you an opportunity; you can all challenge me together and win back the glory that belongs to Asgard."

Kytheron knew exactly how to ignite their competitive spirit.

On the battlefield, a single shout of "For Asgard" would instantly turn them into fearless berserkers.

After all, Valhalla was the desired resting place for over ninety-nine percent of Asgardians.

"Kytheron, what are you doing?" Thor asked, frowning slightly.

"It's not easy to come to the gladiator arena, and just fighting you isn't enough to have fun."

"I want to see what the brave and fearless warriors of Asgard are like."

Hearing Kytheron say this, Thor suddenly felt a bit ashamed.

Ashamed of his own insufficient strength.

Sure enough, as Kytheron's words fell, led by The Warriors Three, all the watching warriors went wild!

"For Asgard, reclaim our glory!"

Those with weapons grabbed them, and those without charged at Kytheron bare-handed.

"What a bunch of brutes," Loki muttered to himself.

Loki, who originally didn't want to participate in such a barbaric fight, helplessly flicked his hands, and two magic daggers appeared in them.

As the defeated one, Thor naturally felt too embarrassed to continue fighting, so he quietly retreated to the audience stands.

Then, cupping his hands like a megaphone, he began to act as a cheerleader.

Facing the surging crowd, Kytheron unleashed his super speed, but to avoid killing anyone, he restrained his strength and simultaneously activated his biological force field.

Then, a Shadow was seen flashing rapidly through the crowd.

The next moment, most of the Asgardian warriors in the arena were sent flying before they could even react.

With every strike, Kytheron tried his best to restrain his strength and even chose the precise impact points.

Thor was stunned; this group fight, from start to finish, had lasted no more than a minute.

Almost everyone was on the ground.

"So, Kytheron was suppressing his speed just now?"

"At that speed, could I have lasted more than a minute?"

Thor couldn't help but ask himself, and then he felt that Kytheron hadn't just gone easy on him, but had let him off completely.

[Ding! Major event "Fighting All Heroes Alone" has begun, treasure chest is continuously charging.]

At this moment, Kytheron was a little excited because he finally received the notification that his treasure chest was charging.

And in this short time, it had already exceeded more than half, but it had not yet reached the point where it could be opened again.

"Fighting All Heroes Alone?"

It seemed he was right; if there wasn't a major event, then he would have to instigate one himself.

However, just at this moment, someone among the fallen slowly stood up!

It seemed they hadn't given up yet.

As expected, it was The Warriors Three, but Loki was nowhere to be seen.

Kytheron didn't think Loki, with his Frost Giant bloodline, would be so easily defeated.

"Kytheron, you are too strong, is this your true power?"

As the eldest brother, Volstagg was the oldest among The Warriors Three.

He had followed Odin in the battle to prevent the Frost Giants from invading Earth and had witnessed Odin's great power.

Now, facing Kytheron, he felt a similar sensation to facing Odin or Laufey, the Frost Giant leader wielding the ancient Casket of Ancient Winters.

Those wielding divine artifacts were beings capable of single-handedly matching an entire army.

And Kytheron's current performance made him feel as if he was seeing those two figures on the battlefield back then.

Hogun, standing beside him, also had a solemn expression after personally experiencing Kytheron's power.

He spun the meteor hammer in his hand, and spikes emerged from its body.

The speed that surpassed his comprehension earlier had left him no time to change the weapon's form.

Fandral also put away his usual elegant posture, twirling the slender rapier in his hand and pointing it directly at Kytheron.

Sif held a sword in one hand and a shield in the other, her face resolute.

"So, do you want to admit defeat?"

Kytheron knew that since they had stood up again, they wouldn't easily give up, but to continue to provoke their fighting spirit, he still asked this question.

"Kytheron, the warriors of Asgard will never back down," Volstagg said with a determined look, raising the axe in his hand.

"I feel your courage; next, I will grant you the most glorious battle a warrior can have."

Kytheron guessed that perhaps only by thoroughly subduing them could the treasure chest be fully charged!

"Hogun, we'll hold him off, you look for an opportunity from the side."

After saying that, Volstagg roared like a waking lion, a wild aura erupting from him.

Before he became his current corpulent self, he was an undeniable powerful warrior.

He had once followed Asgard's legions in campaigns across the realms.

To give them a dignified way to be defeated, Kytheron did not choose to crush them with brute force.

The earlier large-scale clear-out was only to eliminate the ordinary Asgardian warriors, leaving behind the truly valuable ones.

So, now Kytheron had completely suppressed his strength to an extreme.

For a time, he fought back and forth with the few of them.

"Kytheron is fighting as a warrior now, not as a powerhouse." Thor had already noticed that Kytheron was no longer overpowering them.

All of them were battle-hardened warriors, and their combat skills were almost impeccable!

Any one of them would be an absolute combat master on Earth.

However, Kytheron's super learning ability allowed him to quickly master these techniques and combine them with his dragon body.

So, now Kytheron was completely relying on combat skills to suppress them.

Soon, a few of them were already at their last gasp!

Just as he was about to completely defeat them, Kytheron deliberately exposed a weakness, allowing Loki, who had been invisible all along, to finally make his move!

He had cast magic on himself to conceal his form, waiting for this very opportunity.

However, Kytheron had been waiting for him!

He suddenly turned his head and unleashed a freezing breath, instantly freezing him.

Kytheron knew he was a Frost Giant, so this freezing ability would not harm him.

He then quickly defeated the remaining few, and the battle ended.

[Ding! Major event "Fighting All Heroes Alone" has ended, treasure chest charging is complete, open immediately?]

The system's prompt arrived as expected.
