Aiden Howkins saw right through her and smiled. "Young Madam, Young Master Quincy might not be here that quickly. He's been extremely busy these past few days, and with the time he lost dealing with your affairs, he has to work twice as hard to catch up."
Claire Sinclair's heart jolted, and she couldn't help but ask, "Why is he so busy?"
"The election is imminent. All the cabinet members are busy."
"Oh, I see. In that case, please remember to tell him not to get distracted by my affairs anymore. Someone like me isn't worth his time."
Claire Sinclair didn't understand any of that. She could only picture him buried in official duties. 'He must be exhausted.'
Aiden Howkins chuckled. "No one can talk Young Master Quincy out of something he's decided to do. You'd better tell him yourself."
