Chapter 61 - Chapter 61: The Leader (1)

I stood in the command center of the Umbrella Hive, feeling the world through the Red Cloud. The chaos was a physical vibration—the screaming of a billion minds realizing their leaders were monsters.

"Red Queen," I said, "The distraction has peaked. Tony has broken the Shield. Now, we execute the Clean Sweep Protocol."

"Orders received, Aryan," she replied. On the main monitor, thousands of icons turned from blue to blood-red. "The U.S.S. is mobile."

Across the globe, the Umbrella Security Service (U.S.S.)—my super soldier strike teams—moved with a synchronized efficiency.

While the generals scrambled to figure out who was still loyal to the flag and who was loyal to Hydra, the U.S.S. breached the facility. They used high-frequency dampeners. Any name on the "Hydra List" was terminated with clinical precision. In the halls of American military power, the only sound was the muffled thud of bodies hitting the floor.

In the gated communities of D.C., the luxury penthouses of London, and the villas of Berlin, the "Rotten" were harvested. If a politician was on the list for eating the people from the inside out, their story ended that night.

In precincts across the country, U.S.S. units neutralized the compromised captains and commissioners. By dawn, the "Blue Wall" had been stripped of its Hydra bricks.

Status report," I commanded.

"The list is clear, Aryan," the Red Queen whispered. "No Hydra signatures remain in the major hubs of power. The old world's nervous system has been severed."

But I knew from the future that nature abhors a vacuum, and usually, something worse fills it.

———

To establish a grip on the physical world that matched my dominance in the digital one, I had invested ten billion dollars into a specialized Omega-level Shapeshifting ability. This wasn't mere illusion or a holographic trick; it was a total molecular restructuring that allowed me to create a biological duplicate—a clone—with a DNA signature that did not exist in any database.

I named this persona "The Leader." While Aryan remained the enigmatic, high-tech architect in the shadows, "The Leader" was the sun. I gave him a meticulously fabricated history: a self-made humanitarian with a smile that felt like a promise. To ensure his rise was absolute, I synthesized my Omega-level Telepathy with my Gamma-level Friend Aura.

While the telepathy allowed me to plant specific thoughts and read the room, the Friend Aura acted as a passive, inescapable field of warmth. It made people feel a brotherly bond with "The Leader" the moment he stepped into a room. To the public, he was the best friend they hadn't met yet, the only person who truly understood them.

Under this guise, I founded the Global Progress Party (GPP).

The recruitment process was a masterpiece of social engineering, fueled by my specialized abilities.

The Red Queen used her algorithms to identify the "Golden Generation"—thousands of young, brilliant minds disillusioned by the corruption of the old guard. During private retreats, I used my Telepathy to perform "Subconscious Alignment." I smoothed over their anxieties and anchored their deepest moral convictions to the platform of the GPP.

In the middle of my speeches as The Leader, I would flare my aura. The effect was immediate—hostile journalists would soften their tone, and cynical politicians would find themselves nodding along. It lowered their psychological defenses, making them biologically predisposed to agree with me.

While "The Leader" stood on stage, my mind was divided into thousands of sub-processes. I was simultaneously reading the surface thoughts of the crowd, adjusting my rhetoric in real-time based on their emotional feedback, and using my Omega-level Technopathy to ensure the media cameras captured only my most charismatic angles.

I provided these young politicians with "insights" about the impending collapse of the current political system. Because I had already seen the "Original timeline" future, my predictions were 100% accurate. To my followers, I was a prophet who could see through the fog of chaos.

Within a year, the GPP was a secular religion. These young politicians became my loyal eyes and ears in every local council, every state department, and every international embassy. They were brilliant, they were untainted by the Hydra rot, and most importantly, they belonged to me. By the time the world realized the old system was collapsing, my "The Leader" and his army of devotees were already standing at the podiums, ready to catch the falling crown.

———-

"Activate the GPP cells," I ordered, "Tell them it's time to step into the light. The people want justice? We will give them 'Order'."

Across sixty capital cities, the activation was instantaneous. These young men and women—my hand-picked, biologically and psychically aligned elite—had been waiting in the wings of history, embedded as low-level staffers, civil rights lawyers, and municipal advisors. At my signal, they stepped onto the stages of history with a calm coordination.

In Washington D.C., as the smoke still rose from the Triskelion, a group of GPP representatives walked toward the steps of the Capitol. They came with tablets and a message. Using my Omega-level Technopathy, I hijacked every major news network to broadcast their arrival.

"Citizens of the world," their spokesperson began—a young man whose mind I had personally refined. "The age of the shadow is over. The 'Shield' you relied on was a mask for the 'Hydra' that fed on you. But we are not here to sell you fear. We are here to provide the solution."

I watched through the Red Queen's eyes as the GPP cells began their work. They implemented "Umbrella Protocols" in real-time.

While the old government was paralyzed by the purge, the GPP used Umbrella's logistical network to stabilize food supplies and power grids. They showed the people that 'Order' had a tangible, beneficial face.

Behind the scenes, I amplified the Gamma-level Friend Aura through the Leader's televised appearances. I projected a psychic "calm" over the world's most volatile zones. I made the rioters feel that their anger was finally being heard, effectively de-escalating the violence by making the GPP feel like an extension of their own will.

With the "Hydra" politicians being dragged away by the U.S.S., the GPP moved into the vacuum. They declared "Emergency Administrations." Because they were the only ones with the data—provided by me—on how to fix the crumbling infrastructure, the remaining government officials had no choice but to follow their lead.

The people wanted justice for the Hydra betrayal, and I gave them a clinical version of it. I gave them the sight of corrupt senators being led away in handcuffs while GPP leaders stood in the foreground, looking like the only sane people left in a world gone mad.

"The public sentiment is shifting from 'Panic' to 'Reliance' at a rate of 12% per hour," the Red Queen reported.

"Excellent," I murmured. Through my Omega-level Precognition, I saw the branches of the future merging. The chaos was being squeezed out, replaced by a Umbrella-branded peace. I was rewriting the social contract.

I had shown them the monster under the bed, and now, I was the only one offering to keep the lights on. The people didn't want the flawed justice of the old democracy. They wanted the efficient certainty of the GPP. They wanted to feel safe, and I was making them feel safer than they ever had—even as I locked the doors from the outside.

As the sun began to rise on a world in shock, the U.S.S. changed their mission profile. They moved from the shadows to the streets as Peacekeepers.

I sent them to every major city to stop the riots I had started. They protected the grocery stores, guarded the hospitals, and stood at the intersections. Dressed in their black-and-silver Umbrella gear, they were the only calm faces in a world on fire.

I stepped onto the balcony of my office, looking out over the city. The Red Queen projected a holographic map of the world in front of me.

"The GPP is taking the lead in 15 different parliaments as of ten minutes ago," she reported. "The people are cheering for our security teams. They think we saved them from a Hydra coup. They're calling for an emergency global summit."

The world was terrified, and a terrified world is easy to lead. I had destroyed the old political system to replace it with a system where every branch and every leaf belonged to the Umbrella tree.

"We aren't just a software company anymore, Queen," I murmured, watching my peacekeepers settle a crowd in the streets below. "We are the government the world didn't know it needed."
