Ryan Osborne tossed the live fish into the cart. Pushing it along, he narrowed his long, almond-shaped eyes. "Admit it, you think I'm charming, don't you? Have you fallen for me already?"
"You're so full of yourself. Of course not." Jenna Irving rolled her eyes, snatched the cart from him, and pushed it toward the checkout counter.
Back home, their hands were full, carrying bags of all sizes.
Jenna Irving's back and arms ached, and she was panting from exhaustion.
Ryan Osborne glanced at her, put the groceries in the refrigerator, and pulled out a paper towel to wipe his hands. "Alright, time to cook for me, isn't it?"
"I really…" Jenna Irving wanted to say she really didn't know how, but seeing the expectant look in Ryan Osborne's eyes, she gritted her teeth. "Fine, I'll make you my specialty!"
'Cooking can't be that difficult,' she thought. 'Besides, there are a few cookbooks here. I just have to follow the instructions.'
