"What can I say? Your big brother's just got irresistible charm." Archie blushed at his sister's comment, but he had to play it cool.
She drew out her words intentionally. "Oh yeees, my brother is *so* charming! Beautiful women just adore him wherever he goes!"
"You little brat! Getting bold enough to make fun of your own brother now, are you?"
Mika Summers covered her mouth to stifle her laughter. "I would never..."
But her laugh lasted only a moment before she froze. It felt like it had been a very long time since she'd been able to laugh so freely.
"What's wrong?" Archie asked, deeply concerned when he saw his sister's expression suddenly turn serious.
She forced a smile. "It's nothing. Weren't you hungry, Bro? Let's go get something to eat."
"Now that you mention it, I'd almost forgotten. I actually am pretty hungry," Archie said, scratching his head with a goofy grin.
"Let's go."
"Yeah." Archie nodded, went back to grab his luggage, and followed his sister out.
