Damien Valerius's villa was in a prime location, not some remote backwater. With other residences nearby, having no signal was simply out of the question.
Therefore, the only possible explanation for the lack of signal was deliberate, man-made interference.
Scott Vaughn figured this out, and naturally, so did Aurora Sterling and Sean Carter. The expressions on all three of them turned grim.
Yvonne Vaughn sank onto the sofa in a panic. "How could this happen right now? Liam Valerius has Jameson Valerius under his control. Does that mean he's coming for my son next?"
Yvonne Vaughn wrung her hands, glaring resentfully at Aurora Sterling. "This is all your fault! If it weren't for you, Damien wouldn't be lying here in a coma! What are we going to do if Liam targets Damien now? Tell me!"
