Bodyguards stood guard both inside and outside Damien Valerius's villa.
Sylvia Vaughn sauntered over to the foot of the stairs. Just as she craned her neck to peek upstairs, the two bodyguards stationed there shoved her away without ceremony.
"What are you doing?!" Sylvia Vaughn shouted in displeasure, rubbing her shoulder, which ached from the push.
The bodyguard looked at Sylvia Vaughn, his expression unchanged. "Miss Jacobs has given orders that no one is to come near."
"I'm just looking from here! I'm not going up!" Sylvia Vaughn was completely exasperated. Anyone who knew the situation would know Joanna Jacobs was upstairs treating her cousin, but to an outsider, it would look like he was under house arrest.
The two bodyguards stopped paying Sylvia Vaughn any mind, simply standing there expressionlessly, their cold gazes fixed on her.
