Lu Sangjiu let Duoduo out, partly so it could cultivate and partly to act as a lookout. That way, she wouldn't be caught completely off guard if danger appeared.
So, she forced herself to stay awake while Duoduo fawned over her for a bit. After giving it a few instructions, she couldn't hold on any longer and collapsed into sleep.
This time, it wasn't just physical exhaustion; the drain on her spiritual power had also been immense.
As a result, she slept for a full seven days before she finally recovered, returning completely to her peak condition.
Then, the moment she opened her eyes, she discovered that her Spirit Beast, which had only been at the Divinity Transformation Stage, was now suddenly at Late-stage Integration... It was just absurdly fast.
Lu Sangjiu was dumbfounded. Seeing this, Duoduo became incredibly smug, finally feeling a sense of vindication... even though its current cultivation was still a far cry from its master's.
