Work was light in the afternoon, so Summer Lancaster got off early. Downstairs, she saw Kenneth Yates's car waiting and slipped inside.
"Why are you here so early?" she asked.
"I'm taking you somewhere."
"Where?" Summer asked, puzzled.
"You'll know when we get there."
When they arrived, Summer Lancaster looked up and saw they were at Belleza. Rumor had it the stylist here was incredibly picky about his clients—money alone wasn't enough to secure his services. She followed Kenneth Yates inside and saw a man wearing makeup, looking utterly captivating. He was a very unique type of man, exuding an indescribable charm.
When the man noticed Summer staring, he turned his gaze on her. Summer immediately averted her eyes.
"Kenneth, your presence makes my humble little place shine." Summer was surprised that Kenneth Yates actually knew this designer.
