With the Dark Giant Dragon slain, a delightful line of text appeared in Ronin's vision once more:

After killing Flame Wings, Ronin had completed the King of Slaughter achievement for slaying a Legendary Level Extraordinary Unit. By killing Phoenix's clone, he had completed the Sage Level tier of the achievement.
He hadn't had time to look at the achievement details earlier. Only now did he realize how generous the rewards for this tier were!
Sixty thousand Attribute Points and one hundred twenty thousand Energy Essence. This was an unprecedented amount.
He really ought to thank Flame Wings for bringing Phoenix's clone to him, allowing his power to advance even further.
