The Blood Shadow Mosquitoes, a type of insect bred solely to collect Blood Qi, could surprisingly undergo multiple, stable molts. This initially caught the attention of several Nascent Soul Great Powers from the Dark Spring Demon Sect. However, their interest waned after discovering that the effects of each transformation were quite limited, while the amount of Blood Qi required for each subsequent molt increased exponentially.
