Chapter 32 - 032. Decide your own destiny.

Leo contacted Sona Sitri in the morning, but it wasn't until the afternoon that Sona Sitri got back to him, giving him a firm answer.

"My sister agreed. She'll send a Retainer over tomorrow. I'll have her go directly to your place."

When Sona Sitri told Leo this result, her voice carried an indescribable weariness.

It wasn't physical exhaustion, but mental exhaustion, what one might call being 'heart-tired'.

Leo could imagine how, from morning to afternoon, a full six hours, Sona Sitri had been entangled and exhausted by her sister, the demon lord who was obsessed with her.

"You've worked hard, Sona."

Leo replied with both sympathy and gratitude.

Just for Sona Sitri's self-sacrificing dedication, Leo decided that he must repay Sona Sitri with a grand gift in the future.

"It's a small matter. If you have any other needs, you can contact me anytime."

Sona Sitri sighed as she said this, then ended the communication and transmitted a large number of books through the Magic Circle in the basement.

These were all books related to swordsmanship and sword techniques. Some were detailed explanations of modern kendo, teaching people how to effectively use a sword step-by-step. Others were legacies of various famous ancient styles, and some were knowledge snatched from the Church during long struggles, as Exorcists of the Church are most proficient in close combat and most often use swords.

Throughout history, many legendary Holy Swords have fallen into the hands of the Church. The Church has also continuously trained qualified users for various Holy Swords. Therefore, the books Sona Sitri sent also contained records and usage methods for various Holy Swords, which were undoubtedly treasures for Yuuki Asuna.

Thus, Leo had Yukinoshita Yukino bring Yuuki Asuna over to take charge of these books.

"Th-this many...?!"

Yuuki Asuna looked at the pile of books, which formed a small mountain, and couldn't help but take a few steps back.

"Don't be nervous, I'm not asking you to read all of them," Leo said with a chuckle, seeing Yuuki Asuna's pale face. "First, read the part of the books related to Holy Swords, then some books explaining basic sword techniques. As for the other books detailing various schools of swordsmanship, you can read them at your discretion. If you find them unsuitable or uninteresting, then you don't have to read them."

"Is that so?" Yuuki Asuna's complexion improved considerably. Although still a bit bitter, she nodded and said, "I'll do my best."

At this moment, Yukinoshita Yukino spoke up.

"Are you two forgetting something?" Yukinoshita Yukino suddenly said, "Unlike me, who lives alone, Yuuki is just a guest visiting Chiba with her brother. She's not in a situation where she can just stay here and read or study casually."

"Her home is in Tokyo, and her school isn't here either."

"Now that she's been out of touch for a night, her brother and family are probably frantic. How can this be a time to think about reading and studying?"

At these words, Yuuki Asuna suddenly awoke from her daze and fell into a state of panic.

"Oh no! I completely forgot about that!"

Poor Yuuki Asuna, waking up today, first struggled with the monster incident from last night, and then had her mind disturbed by being reincarnated as a Demon, so much so that she completely forgot about her family from beginning to end.

She was originally bewildered, not knowing what to do next, and could only go with the flow, first complying with Leo's arrangements. But now, thinking carefully, she realized she had no right to decide these things.

Her family wouldn't know what she had encountered; even if they did, they would think she had gone mad. She wasn't in a situation where she could stay here and be a Demon with peace of mind. Her brother must still be looking for her, and she had to return to Tokyo, return home, and go back to her former aristocratic school to study.

Just as Yuuki Asuna was panicking about this, Leo spoke.

"I had already considered this matter," Leo said lightly. "Don't worry, I've already arranged for someone to contact the Yuuki Family and set up a meeting with Asuna's parents to discuss her future."

Yukinoshita Yukino and Yuuki Asuna both looked at Leo simultaneously, taken aback.

"Mr. Leo has already contacted my family?"

Yuuki Asuna was a little surprised.

"When did you do something like that?"

Yukinoshita Yukino was equally surprised.

"I gave the order before Asuna even woke up," Leo said with an indifferent smile, seeing both girls' surprise. "Asuna has already become my Retainer, so how could I let her have any worries?"

"As my Retainer, she shouldn't be too far from us. Even if the actual distance between Tokyo and Chiba isn't far, acting in different places is ultimately inconvenient."

"So, I already used my connections to contact the Yuuki Family."

Don't assume that just because Leo is a noble in the Demon world, he has no background or influence in the human world.

He had lived in Chiba City for fifteen years and had secretly operated as a Demon for fifteen years. From a young age, he took on tasks from the Demon side to advance to a High-Class Devil, accepting countless summons and fulfilling countless wishes, accumulating an extremely rich foundation.

Many of the prominent figures in Chiba City who have risen in recent years were actually his clients. They were originally either incredibly ordinary people or once down-and-out individuals with a strong desire to make a name for themselves, and these wishes were all fulfilled through Leo's hands.

With Leo's abilities, clearing obstacles for them or creating favorable conditions for their ascent was incredibly simple. A series of dimension-reducing attacks such as suggestion, hypnosis, and brainwashing would be deployed, and these people would be unable to fail in achieving their wishes.

And to fulfill these wishes, those prominent figures paid no small price. Now, their lives and fortunes are firmly controlled by Leo, and they can be completely regarded as Leo's connections and background in the human world.

Therefore, Leo only needed to use a portion of his connections to contact the Yuuki Family and get them to sit at a negotiating table with him. Yuuki Asuna's brother had also been calmed down and was not panicking over Yuuki Asuna's disappearance for the time being.

"I will have your family agree to transfer you here, just like us, to attend Sobu High School," Leo said to Yuuki Asuna. "At that time, you will also live directly here."

Hearing this, Yuuki Asuna said, a little nervously and worriedly,

"Can that work?"

Her family was not an entity to be trifled with, especially her mother, who had already laid out her life plans, making it essentially impossible to suddenly change plans and let her transfer to a "rural area" like Chiba.

Thinking of her mother's strong personality, Yuuki Asuna couldn't help but feel that this was an unlikely thing to achieve.

However... "Are you too lacking in confidence in me, or do you think too highly of your family?" Leo said with a half-smile. "Indeed, the Yuuki Family's influence is not small, and your parents are not simple people, but in my eyes, they are ultimately just ordinary humans."

At Leo's words, Yuuki Asuna suddenly realized that her sudden new master was a Demon, possessing supernatural powers beyond human imagination.

Facing such power, ordinary people like her parents would have no ability to resist, right?

Did this mean she had gained a powerful backer to resist her family?

Yuuki Asuna's mood was inexplicably complex.

Let alone Yuuki Asuna, even Yukinoshita Yukino felt a bit emotional.

She had also been worried that her living at Leo's house would be exposed, leading to her family settling accounts with her. But after Leo made her sister, who was known as a perfect superhuman, return empty-handed and leave dejectedly, she realized that her family's meager power was nothing in front of Leo, a High-Class Devil from the Demon world.

If it weren't for considering her feelings, perhaps Leo would have already brainwashed the Yukinoshita Family with magic to avoid having to deal with them later.

As for the Yuuki Family, her master probably wouldn't resort to crude methods like magical brainwashing to achieve his goal, would he?

So how did he plan to persuade those two?

Yukinoshita Yukino couldn't help but feel curious.

"In any case, I will arrange everything. You two don't need to have any worries. Go and do what you want to do most now, and make yourselves stronger until you can decide your own destiny."

Leo waved his hand at the two, dismissing Yukinoshita Yukino and Yuuki Asuna.

The two silently picked up the books on the ground, leaving the basement, and thinking to themselves.

"Strong enough to decide one's own destiny... huh?"

Thousands of thoughts arose in the two girls' minds, and they thus left Leo's sight.

Leo, meanwhile, spread his wings, flew into the air, summoned a scene of rising winds and surging clouds, and once again entered a state of training... Chiba City, a rather quiet area.

In this area near the central district, there stood a magnificent church.

The church's exterior was simple, while its interior was solemn and splendid. Especially the chapel, which not only covered a vast area, but the statue of Jesus located at its deepest part was ten meters tall, full of majesty, making the entire hall flow with a solemn atmosphere.

Perhaps it was cleared beforehand, but the vast chapel was empty at this time.

Until... Yukinoshita Haruno arrived here.

"Welcome to Chiba Church, Miss Yukinoshita Haruno."

A charming nun greeted Yukinoshita Haruno as she entered.

It was none other than Sharon Holygreil.

"You're the one who sent a letter to me, saying you had something important to tell me?" Yukinoshita Haruno looked at the nun who didn't quite fit the image of a nun, saying, "In this day and age, to still use letter writing to arrange a meeting, and to have it delivered silently without anyone noticing... Is the Church now so simple and powerful?"

"I just wanted to talk with you," Sharon said with a bright smile. "To talk about something related to your sister."

Yukinoshita Haruno frowned, then relaxed.

"Then I'm all ears."
