Chapter 97: The Gap with the Strongest
Hearing this voice, Tatsumaki subconsciously turned her head.
King was already standing beside Tatsumaki. Taking advantage of the fact that he hadn't yet entered a weakened state, a majestic Psychic Power surged out of his body, enveloping the entire Spaceship.
Looking at his flowing blond hair, Tatsumaki was momentarily dazed, her large emerald eyes staring straight at King.
In a daze, King's figure seemed to slowly merge with a deeply remembered silhouette.
"Blast..." Tatsumaki was stunned, then snapped back to her senses, shaking her head vigorously, her curly green hair swaying in the air like swimming snakes.
She raised her hand again, and the Psychic Power of the two merged in the Space, turning into an even more surging force that firmly locked down the entire Spaceship.
The descent of the massive battleship was slowed until it came to a halt. Under the control of Tatsumaki and King, it slowly moved downward bit by bit from mid-air.
Tatsumaki glanced at the expressionless King, raised her hand to brush back the hair that had fallen onto her face, and spoke casually:
"So? Has the leader of the aliens been dealt with?"
King nodded, his tone carrying a hint of respect:
"It's done. He was a very decent opponent; his strength was truly formidable."
"Oh?"
Tatsumaki's interest was piqued, and she raised an eyebrow.
"For someone like you, the so-called strongest man on earth, to say he was strong, it seems this alien leader wasn't some small fry. He was quite impressive."
In fact, Tatsumaki knew in her heart that if she were to face him, she would likely be unable to defeat that alien leader.
When King and Boros were fighting, they had briefly fought on the surface. Tatsumaki, with her powerful perception, naturally felt the terrifying pressure within Boros that far exceeded her own.
Even though Tatsumaki was very confident in her superpowers, the intensity caused by the battle between King and Boros was simply too violent.
Combined with the fact that King had defeated her in just a few moves previously, while he had fought Boros for over ten minutes, Tatsumaki had made her judgment.
This guy... he really lives up to his reputation... Once upon a time, when King was first rated as The Strongest Man on Earth, Tatsumaki had looked at his title with a bit of disdain, thinking it was just exaggerated hype.
It wasn't until King achieved more and more legendary feats that Tatsumaki gradually began to see him in a different light, feeling a sense of seriousness in her heart.
Later, when the two sparred and she was easily defeated, this proud queen of superpowers finally fully acknowledged the title of The Strongest Man on Earth.
Rumble!!
Under the combined control of Tatsumaki and King, the Spaceship finally landed slowly in a wasteland.
The A-Class and B-Class heroes of the Hero Association swarmed forward, while the S-Class Heroes stayed back to oversee the situation as they began a thorough sweep of the ship.
Before long, a large group of alien soldiers who had survived the aftershocks of the battle between King and Boros were firmly tied up and thrown out in bundles.
One of them, whose skin was pink all over and who looked like Patrick Star, was thrown out. Seeing the dense crowd of heroes outside, his legs immediately went weak with fear.
"Wuwuwu, I want to go home..."
What is even happening! How could this invasion be so messed up!
The Patrick Star alien couldn't help but burst into tears, falling into a state of depression.
He had thought this was just a normal invasion of an indigenous planet, but reports kept coming into the control room that the Three Generals were struggling.
Then, the incredibly powerful Lord Geryuganshoop went silent after a brief exchange, and even the legendary leader of the pirate group, Lord Boros, was locked in a hard fight.
Then there was a vibration throughout the ship, followed by a surge of mysterious energy. If he hadn't been ostracized and lived in a remote area, he would have probably been turned to ash long ago.
Now that the ship had crashed and they were all captured, with no sign of the Three Generals or Lord Boros...
It's fucking obvious they lost!!
At this thought, the Patrick Star alien cried even harder, knowing he likely wouldn't escape death this time.
Just then, crisp footsteps rang out, and all the alien soldiers, including the Patrick Star alien, looked up at the same time.
What met their eyes was a slender man with long blue hair casually draped over his shoulders, yellow eyes, and a strangely handsome face that left a deep impression.
Eh?
Before the Patrick Star alien and the other soldiers could react, veins popped out on the blue-haired man's face, and undisguised disgust appeared on his handsome face.
"What a bunch of filthy Monsters. How hideous! You have no value in living in this world!"
Along with Sweet Mask's roar, he suddenly raised his palm and struck like a blade. Sharp traces sliced through the air, instantly turning the group of alien soldiers into a mist of blood.
"Sweet Mask! What are you doing?!"
"These are important hostages! We need them to interrogate them about the aliens!"
"Are you on the Monsters' side? Otherwise, why would you help cover their tracks? Did you kill them to prevent them from revealing evidence?"
Facing the accusations of the heroes, Sweet Mask gave a cold snort, his tone filled with deep disdain:
"Monsters all deserve to die, especially these hideous ones. You question my motive for killing these Monsters, and I highly suspect your motive for wanting to save them!"
The argument between the two sides grew more heated, with signs that they might even come to blows. After all, Sweet Mask was far too arrogant, completely disregarding the heroes present.
Just as Sweet Mask's veins were bulging and he was about to strike, a sudden roar rang out in everyone's ears simultaneously.
"Thump, thump, thump, thump-thump-thump!"
"This sound is so familiar..."
"It's the King Engine! Mr. King is back!"
As soon as these words were spoken, everyone immediately stopped arguing. After all, King's reputation was far too great now.
Especially after the battle with Boros, everyone had witnessed what the strength of The Strongest Man on Earth was like, and they also felt the gap between themselves and the strongest...
