I am in a bad mood.
I huddled near the window, watching outside as we continued to travel towards the location of the monster.
It is Ghost who is driving the vehicle this time as Alpha and Lion are trying to find a way to soothe me.
Sly is flying outside in his dragon form while Orm is at the rooftop of the vehicle with his tail wrapped around it.
I do hope we brought lots of bandages as I know what it means when I am in a terrible mood. I don't treat them badly but I avoided them as I don't like to talk much and would rather sit by myself than being held.
The longer I stayed here in this world, the more I don't understand my menstrual cycle. To make things worse, their days here are longer than back on earth so I don't really know how long or when my next menstrual cycle is going to be.
I realized that I should constantly be vigilant as Lion and I kept having intercourse without any protection in which there's a huge possibility in the future that I might get pregnant, though I don't know if it's possible as we are different from each other.
Biting my lip, I tried hard not to smile as I began imagining how our offsprings are going to look.
I do hope that they would look like mini versions of Lion.
Sigh.
I want sweets.
Did they brought some candy?
Glancing around, I noticed both Alpha and Lion silently observing me. They asked me what I needed as they tried to give me space.
Now I feel bad looking at them trying to soothe me.
With all sorts of emotions bubbling inside of me, I began to sniffle in which Ghost immediately stopped the vehicle, making Orm yell in anger as he fell off.
Orm was holding Ghost's shirt, about to punch him in anger when he noticed that everyone is staring at me as I began to cry.
I hate it when this happens.
I became emotional in which they all crowded around me, asking me if my neck hurts as Lion began to check the cuff around my neck.
This is truly embarrassing and I acted like a child.
They didn't seem to mind though as all of them began asking all sorts of questions, trying to understand why I just cried out of the blue.
In a small voice, I told them I'm craving for sweet fruits and meat.
Soon, Ghost began cooking outside as Lion and Orm tried to use magic to conjure all sorts of fruits while Sly went hunting in his dragon form.
Alpha began rummaging inside our bags, trying to see if they managed to pack some candies while I continued to huddle, feeling my breasts getting sore as my abdomen starts cramping.
Alpha triumphantly held a candy in which he found in one of the bags and went near me, putting it inside my mouth.
With bad luck, it isn't sweet but an extremely spicy kind of candy that made me cry even harder as my mouth feels like it's on fire.
Alpha began panicking and yelled for both Orm and Lion, asking them if they can manage to make some sort of a sweet drink as I felt myself turn red, panting hard as my mouth is getting painful from the candy.
I can hear Ghost shouting at them, in which he came inside the vehicle with a bowl of liquid in his hand as he made me drink it, telling me that it will make me feel better as what Lion and Orm managed to make will definitely worsen the situation.
It's delicious!
Ghost grinned at me, asking me if I needed some more in which I nodded and he hurriedly refilled it.

The pack stared at me as I kept on eating more than usual. I wasn't like this before so the situation right now is quite new to them.
Ghost liked it though, as he kept offering me all sorts of food that he cooked. I kept on eating until Lion began to look suspiciously at me.
No, I'm not pregnant!
I shook my head at him as I chuckled, while he looked disappointed.
After a while of eating as the pack looked at me with tenderness in their eyes, I began to yawn in which Lion carried me in his arms as he walked towards the vehicle.
With great timing, I felt blood coming out from my lower self.
Oh, dear.
Lion's eyes began to widen as he smelled my menstrual blood that he immediately went inside the vehicle and yelled at the others not to come inside for the meantime.
While he placed bandages on my lower self, he began muttering, as he can't understand how I'm getting in heat more often than the other female creatures, not that he minded of course.
Then he kissed me on my forehead as he told me that he is going to explain the situation first to the others as they will make some sort of plan before resuming our travel.
I nodded at him in which he went outside, yawning as I closed my eyes.

We finally arrived near the monster's lair that is a dark, two mouthed cave that is located on a mountain that is at the center of the villages belonging to the different tribes of the Huldufolk. The location is convenient for the monster as it can easily terrorize several villages at once, making them unable to attack it as it is too risky.
Seeing the location made the pack hesitant to attack it, in which I suggested to them that they should block one of the entrance, forcing the monster to use the remaining entrance. They will attack it there, preventing the monster from terrorizing the villagers in his anger.
The pack looked at me with amazement in their eyes in which I just grinned at them as I'm beginning to suspect that our current situation is a bit familiar.
I still need to see the monster first as I wasn't sure yet.
Lion placed me inside a bubble again much to my annoyance in which he just smiled at me softly, telling me that he wants me to be safe from the monster and from him.
Upon hearing the last words, I felt myself turned red in which he just laughed.
I'm beginning to think that Lion is the god of lust.

Much to everyone's surprise especially me, the monster turned out to be a lion that is similar to the paintings that I gave to Lion. It is no ordinary lion as it is massive and its pelt is golden, pleasing to the eyes.
It has an extremely sharp looking talons and is more regal looking compared to the monsters I've seen before, including the pack's ultimate forms.
Such a shame though having to kill it.
I felt sorry for it until I noticed that the pack has difficulty in killing it.
Now I understand why they called it a monster.
As the pack cannot transform to their ultimate form without harming the villages, they are forced to fight it using their bare hands as using their weapons cannot penetrate the monster's hide.
Using magical attacks is out of the question as it may damage the mountain, severely affecting the villages surrounding it.
The monster is deadly as its claws easily sliced through the pack's armor, giving them several wounds as they tried to kill it.
You can never judge a monster by its appearance.
While staring at the monster, I began to have some sort of familiar feeling that I tried to kick my brain into doing its part.
Hmmm.
Golden fur.
Soon I heard yells of pain in which I'm beginning to panic.

What kind of monster that has a golden fur?
I began recalling everything that I know about myths and legends in which I was reminded of a legendary hero that I read about in a book about Greek mythology.
Heracles! The 12 labors! The Nemean Lion!
That's it!
They are trying to kill the Nemean Lion, whose hide is invulnerable. According to the story, the Nemean Lion was killed by suffocation.
Now I'm quite sure that someone from my previous world is watching us as what happened here became a famous legend with a bit of exaggeration in the story.
I called Sly and told him what I know, telling him to imagine me as the monster, much to his amusement. Then he hurriedly went back to the others, sharing to them what I told him.
Honestly, killing a monster by a single person is an exaggeration no matter how strong you are as even the pack had difficulty trying hold me when I lost my sanity back then. Much more if they are trying to suffocate a monster that can kill them during their attempt.
Each one of the pack tried to secure an extremity of the monster, preventing it from clawing them as Ghost tried to suffocate it as he has better strength and grip.
After several attempts, with the sound of a huge SNAP, Ghost managed to twist the Nemean Lion's neck by gripping it using his arms with all his might, continuing to squeeze it until it finally stopped moving.
Everyone panted as they can finally see that the Nemean Lion is dead.
I expected the bubble to pop as soon as the monster is dead but to my dismay, it did not. For a good reason too as I can feel my menstrual blood started to leak from the bandages.
Waving at Alpha as he was glancing towards my direction, he looked at me questioningly as he went towards me. He stood at a distance as I can see him sniffing around in which he suddenly turned red in the face.
Ignoring his reaction, I told him to remove the claws of the Nemean Lion and use it to skin the hide.
He easily understood what I meant and he hurriedly went back towards the rest of the pack while covering his nose.
How cute.
But my situation isn't cute as my menstrual blood is leaking out from my bandages and is trickling on my leg.
