Lion kissed me on the forehead as he handed me to Sly, who carried me gently in his arms.
Lion and Alpha are staying behind as Maelsa told them that he has some work for them to do before starting the mission.
I'm not sure if he's the one who they made contract to or he is just assigning them some work.
A guard came for Orm as his father needed him for something in which he assured me that he is going to be fine and will make sure to return fast.
Ghost was about to accompany us when several of the deserters came and called him in which he told me that he is going with them for a while as he is planning to ask them for some information about the location of our next mission.
Sly then asked me if he could bring me to his room in which I agreed, making him smile with intense joy in his eyes.

Sly told me as he placed me gently on his bed that Lion gave him permission to sleep with me if he is not there though Lion didn't say anything about going all the way with me.
Still, he told me that he is happy as he missed the feeling of me beside him while he is sleeping.
He bit his forearm and told me to suck his blood which I did, as he started to sob while telling me how he feels powerless earlier. His sobs intensified as he kneeled on the floor in front of me, telling me he shamed himself earlier when he smelled my burned flesh.
While bowing his head, he told me that he understood if I will remove my mating mark with him as he doesn't deserve to be my secondary mate based on his actions earlier.
He asked me if it's alright for him to watch me from afar if I decided to remove the mating mark and that he would always consider me as his mate for life until the end of his long life and beyond.

With a smile on my lips, I wrapped my arms around his neck as I pulled him towards me and kissed him softly.

Sly's mother is the only female offspring of the chief in the tribe of ice dragons. He learned that his father is a fire dragon, one of the warriors of the fire dragon tribe. The dragons have an event similar to the debauchery at the palace that they usually held to prevent tribes from fighting each other and to encourage the mateless dragons to find their mate.
The dragons have extremely high pride in themselves that they prefer to find a mate belonging to a different dragon tribe than to mate with lesser beings.
I must've made a face at this point in which Sly told me that he doesn't care about that since when he first saw me, he already decided that I should be his mate despite not knowing what I am or who I am.

His mother has a mate already but continued to participate in the debauchery as it is normal for them to participate regardless if you have a mate or several mates already.

Sly grinned at me as he tried to calm me down as he tried to finish his story.
He continued on his way, travelling to several places in which he can't get rid of the image of me from his mind.
At first he tried ignoring it, as he doesn't want to be associated with lesser beings.
Sly embraced me tightly at this point while nuzzling my neck as I'm beginning to frown again at him.
After several days of nagging feeling, he finally decided to find me in which to his great luck, he saw Lion randomly and followed him while he was on his way to the castle.
He didn't know yet at that time that I'm living with Lion as he was just planning to ask Lion about me.
While he was about to land on the castle, he overheard Lion and Ghost's plans in opening a business in which it intrigued him and finally decided to work for them.
To his greater luck, he saw me opening the windows of my room and that's the time he decided to find a way to settle down in this territory.
I raised my eyebrow at him and told him how he was staring at me while I'm almost wearing nothing in which he turned red and admitted that he liked what he saw though he was intrigued the way I looked as he hasn't seen a creature like me before.
Sly then started to lick my ear in which he whispered that he loves staring at me and will continue to do so.
He slowly started to lick my neck in which I began to sigh in pleasure and closed my eyes.
Then he slowly began removing my top, telling me that he won't go all the way with me as Lion didn't give his permission yet but has agreed on showing affection as long as it doesn't step over the line.
He looked at my upper body, as he didn't removed the rest of my clothes as he is afraid that he cannot control himself and he doesn't want to do it unless I want to with Lion's permission.
Still, he has intense desire look in his eyes towards me as he kept looking at me while removing his shirt.
He then lay on top of me, gently caressing my face as he told me how he always think about what happened the last time we slept together on how he was on the brink of losing control.
Sighing, he whispered that he wanted to feel me against him, my heartbeat against his as he wants me to know how I am his heart and that any hurt that I feel will directly affect him just like what happened earlier as he nearly tore his heart out seeing me in pain.
Then we slowly began kissing as he held me tight against him, my skin becoming more sensitive as I felt his chest against mine, his heart beginning to beat fast like mine.

Both of them formed a blood bond in which they will not kill each other, that Sly will act as Lion's right hand in which Lion is his superior, thereby formalizing their relationship as Alpha and Beta.
When did this happen? I wanted to see it! I didn't know that they have some kind of a ritual to form a pack as I assumed when Sly became my secondary mate, he is already the beta.
Sly laughed when he saw my face, telling me that they performed the blood bond during the time of the second combat challenge.
Ahh. So that's why they weren't the ones who rescued me as they were busy doing something else.
He told me that Alpha had also performed the blood bond with them, as he is now the Delta in the pack while Ghost and Orm are the Omegas as they are not predators and will be the last defense in protecting me.
Despite that, all of them performed the blood bond ritual, thereby formalizing their pack.
They vowed to protect me with their lives in front of Lion in which in return, he granted some permissions to them depending on the degree of relationship I had with each one of them.
That Lion! He didn't tell me about that!
While I was contemplating on what Lion did, Sly gently held my face towards him and passionately kissed me.
Then he kissed me on the neck softly as he embraced me, singing softly until I fell asleep.

He helped me bathe in which I have to admit that he has a huge amount of self control despite being extremely aroused.
I wasn't shy anymore in showing my body to him as I trusted him in which he showed me that he deserved the trust I gave him by restraining himself from stepping over the line.
Still, he gave me soft kisses and licks on my neck and shoulders, embracing me as I felt his erection despite him wearing pants.
After dressing me up according to what he liked seeing me wearing, he combed my hair and braided it in which he suddenly embraced me.

To my delight, he is a natural dancer and it didn't take long that he took the lead.
The longer we danced, the more we became like one in harmony despite the huge difference between our heights, much to my surprise as I thought that we would have difficulty with it.
He smiled at me adoringly as he held me as we soon got lost in our own world, in which I whispered to him that I liked him.
He stopped dancing immediately in which he carried me in his arms and kissed me passionately then he told me that hearing me say that made him want to transform into his dragon self and take me to the sky.
Which he did.

He carried me gently in his claws as he flew through the air, roaring with joy.
I can't believe that I used to be afraid of him.
Soon, he landed on the ground outside the territory in which he transformed back to his regular form. I asked him if I could visit Puma, even for just a little while in which he gently carried me in his arms, smiling while walking towards our ice cream shop.
I gave him a little kiss on his cheek, making him chuckle as he continued on walking. He then told me that he felt so much joy right now that he wants to take me away to a faraway place where it will be the two of us alone, spending time with each other with no worries.
Then with a sad face, he sighed and nuzzled the cuff on my neck.

Puma gave a huge grin when she saw me.
She hurriedly brought me to the park while Sly excused himself as he told me that he will just check on the businesses for a little while before returning with me to the palace.
When he was gone, Puma guffawed.
She reminded me how I was adamant before of not having another mate in which I felt myself turn red.
While nagging me as she wanted to know how far Sly and I were in our relationship, she accidentally saw the mating mark I have with Alpha.
Oh dear.
This will be a long talk again.
Hopefully Sly comes back fast.
