I called all 5 of them inside the workroom.
Yes, 5 of them since Alpha grudgingly has to join the pack since he lost.
They all began to fight among themselves when I suddenly yelled at them, telling them to be quiet.
They became quiet.
I was in a bad mood since I spent all night preparing something for the expedition which I definitely don't want to go. Especially since the place is cold. I hate cold places.
Also it doesn't help that Lion and Alpha spent all night bickering about the room that Alpha is staying for the meantime, which ended into a brawl as Sly and Ghost enthusiastically joined as well. Orm tried to ignore them and was about to go back to his room when Ghost accidentally pulled his hair which is a big no-no as Orm treats his hair as a sacred object.
Good thing Puma and her mate aren't here as they went on another vacation.
You can imagine the 5 of them having a brawl. It was chaos.
My patience finally snapped when they broke several bottles that contained a smelly liquid that I ended up going to the toilet and puke my stomach out.
And no, I'm not pregnant. But I can feel my menstruation about to start anytime.
Also I didn't have much rest after brainstorming my latest designs.
I sighed and silently retrieved my new best friend from Lion's room. There was a click then I shot all 5 of them simultaneously with precise accuracy. You can guess which attack I'm using.
Finally, peace and quiet.
I took a chair from the kitchen and placed it on front of them.
Then I sat on it while crossing my legs.
I smiled at them sweetly while I waited for the effect to wear off. For good measure, I kept holding the pistol, facing it towards them.
I told them that I want to test the 2 other attacks too if they won't behave.
Because of that, they became obedient.

The 5 of them sat up straight when I showed them my latest designs. They looked confused.
Ghost raised his hand and I nodded.
He asked me if they are for selling.
I shook my head and began to explain.
The territory we are going to is a cold and icy place where the suns usually doesn't shine much. Since the cold slows down magic, it hinders casting and movement, making us vulnerable against large scale enemies.
The place we are going to has plenty of wild predators and the unknown.
I told them that I know they are very powerful and capable than me but we need to conserve as much magic and energy as the territory we are going to wasn't yet fully explored and inhabited.
And so I introduced my newest designs:
Weapons.
Using weapons when infused with magic, they can conserve their own magic. The non magic users (Sly and Ghost) can also use the magic weapon as well, increasing their attack.
Then I glanced at Lion who nodded.
I told everyone to choose first their weapon.
They just looked at me blankly.
I sighed and reminded them that the magic stone we are going to retrieve will absorb magic so if they are already low in magical power, they are at risk when being exposed to the magical stone, depleting instantly their remaining magic, including their life force.
You get my point? I stared at them.
At this point, everyone asked me to choose their weapon.
This is fun. It's like playing with an RPG game but in real life.
So I started with Ghost. I shooed the rest of them away and sat beside Ghost and held his arm with my hands. I can hear Lion clearing his throat but I just ignored him.
I badly needed to sleep but I have to do this so they can practice.
Ghost's face turned crimson as I stroke his arm and his wrist. Then I was about to get a weapon when I saw Lion glaring at me.
Bah.
I continued to ignore Lion as I handed Ghost an axe.
Next.
Sly pushed Ghost away immediately and eagerly sat down beside me. I sighed and stroke his arm while he blushed and stared at me which I ignored.
I'm so tired.
I gave him the great sword.
I'm starting to feel like I'm the NPC giving the players their first weapons.
With Orm, I gave him the crossbow because of limited movement in the cold. I feel worried about him. I'm planning to give him a special potion that he can use there. I'll explain it to him later.
As for Alpha, who was intrigued all throughout the conversation, I gave him 2 daggers because of his speed. He doesn't look like a lycan this time except his lower extremities (including his erection maybe).
His face went back to his regular form that has a long shiny black hair.
Meanwhile, Lion sulked as he sat down beside me. I gave him the last weapon, which is my favorite.
The katana.
I didn't tell him the story behind it. When I was younger, I had a crush on an anime character. He was using a katana. That's it.
I smiled to myself when I noticed Lion glaring at me.
Oh dear. Someone badly needs attention.
I turned around and seeing that it's only us left in the room made me think of a daring action.
I remembered my plan way back at the throne room. Good thing that Lion just took a bath or I wouldn't dare doing this.
Since he was sitting, I straddled him first, grinning at him in a mischievous way.
He averted his eyes, trying to ignore me when I did the thing I promised myself on doing.
It didn't take long for him to stop sulking.

Everyone loved their new weapons that I didn't need to explain how to use it as they instinctly know what to do.
Lion, Orm and Alpha combined their magic to make their weapons more lethal and invulnerable to magic absorption. Since we are going to a cold area, they used fire as an added element to their weapon.
Orm's crossbow doesn't need any reloading of arrows as it magically shoots magic arrows made out of fire. I also gave him a potion that will provide him sufficient protection against the cold. He thanked me profusely.
Lion, who is in high spirits again as a result of an unexpected delightful surprise from me, told me that we might have a higher chance of exploring the territory as previous magic users tend to avoid the area.
I still prefer to see him using magic though.

Several days passed and soon we are about to go. I don't know the name of the place as usual but they told me it's cold, less inhabited and plenty of wild enemies.
They all decided to ride in an enchanted carriage, that drives by itself as you set the coordinates manually. The carriage itself looks like a big rectangular box with 2 windows, a door and 8 wheels.
It looks like a humongous coffin. With wheels.
Cuss word.
Then we finally set off.
