Chapter 2 - Chapter-2 The Day Dining

We all know how sweet morning sleep is???? And when your alarm keeps ringing and you know you have to leave your urge to sleep for work, and to get up in a chilly environment where you have cultivated your warm bed.

'' "It sucks" really Good Gracias morning.'' Kushan, with his loud screams, gets up , turns off all his alarms and started his daily morning routine.

Meanwhile, Hrishav was all ready, and having his box meal(lunch box meal for three time). He was calling Kushan just in case they needed something he forgot , just for a cross-check.

Tru tru trut...tru..tru the number you are dialing is not answering please try again or call again later

he tried again.

grn grn .....rungg .. ringing phone

Oh shit it's second .. have to pick it up ..... must be Hrishav .

Kushan rushed through his bath, shampoo still clinging to his hair, water dripping down his arms as he grabbed the phone just before it disconnected.

hello !! Morning

morning !!!

Why did you call?

Will we be forgetting anything ???

A PAUSE...

Wallet, keys, Documents etc etc No , nothing i can recall !!!

Ok fine .

After that they end the call.

Half an hour later, they meet at the decided place and start finding a flower shop.

'' "Oh, man!! There's no flower shop showing around on the maps."

"Of course, that is obvious, isn't it!! We will have to take bus to get to bus till we reach our destination. Did you even inquire which flower are we going to buy and where?" ''

This was because after they get out of the metro station, they found a quiet but lively city like place with every modern facility (like there were cafe, restaurants,a small threatre, a hotel for guest stay . It was city like but not city . To reach the investor's place they had to take an hour bus ride to reach the village , and they were on the way to meet an important guest who reside away from the city in his hometown (quiet village life). It was getting hard to find a flower shop and to get a live flower pot as a gift .

Morning traffic hummed lightly. People moved with purpose—tea cups in hand, eyes half-open, lives already racing ahead.

It was near the only school, about a 2km walk.

Finding a flower shop—and that too one selling live plants—was turning stressful.

They asked locals, walked further, and finally a native man pointed them toward a narrow road.

"Near the school," he said. "Two kilometers from here."

They followed the path.

Soon, a modest shop appeared.

A wooden board hung above it. The letters were engraved into it, naming the shop's name "WHISPERING FLOWERS - Blooming souls"

The name of the flower shop appeared on a nice wooden board, which they embedded. It was looking aesthetic-the flower shop, there was a small bell at the entrance, like when the customers enters the bell rings. Above the flower shop on the second floor, there was a shop named "Milk & brew"

Now they both were at the front of the flower shop and looking at each other, How they will enter there. The flower shop and the "milk and brew" with sun setting high in the sky lighting all of them , the situation was definitely suggesting it is romantic.

They we confused and embarrassed as they both never had a situation to buy flowers before, and to two men buying flowers together was a little weird for them.

Kushan said : " Hey Hrishav, you go, why are you shy about this after mid night mystery girl"

He replied: "I never said it was a girl. There was no one, I couldn't find anybody there. It was your idea You shall go"

Kushan: Then shall we drop the idea?

Hrishav: Definitely not. WE have done a lot of hard work for the flower idea!!! and are about to be late. We have only 45 mins to be there. Let's hurry up together.

"We're running out of time."

"Exactly. Let's go."

They stepped inside.

Tring.

The bell rang softly.

They both entered and the bell ring. They found that the shop was empty. They decided to wait for a minute or two and call for the staff and then go if nobody comes .

Fresh soil and morning dew , That;s how the shop smelled.

While Hrishav was standing still at his place , Kushan was exploring the flower shop. He was looking at every flower in the shop. And at one of the corner of the room he unknowingly entered the room with no door at the entrance and likely crossed into the staff-only area. There he found a girl with a basket with many unplanted small plants in her hand.

He asked if he can help him. She told him to get the other basket and come behind her.--/startled/-- As shocked she was, but had to do her work, so decided to get his help.

She and him again were in the selling area of the shop and told him politely

Then she paused.

"Sir, that area is for staff only. Customers aren't allowed there. It's written near the entrance."

She smiled lightly.

"Thank you for helping, though." She politely answered them

Here Hrishav was wondering where he was and found him coming with the girl, both have baskets of unplanted plants in their hands.

Kushan puts the basket beside she put the basket and get beside the Hrishav. They told her that "They want to buy a live pot flower" for their guest, they gave description about the guest.

She listened quietly.

"Please wait for a moment," she said.

After a few minutes, she returned with holding a cart on which flower pot was there.

It was a medium-sized pot.

Soft viola flowers bloomed within it—shades of violet, lavender, and pale blue resting gently among fresh green leaves. The flowers looked delicate, yet steady, as if they carried emotions too gentle to speak aloud.

"These are violas," she explained. "They bloom even in cold seasons." Perfect for these upcoming weather.

She paused for a moment before continuing.

"Viola flowers symbolize thoughts and remembrance. They're often gifted when words feel insufficient—when someone wants to express sincerity without saying too much." What do you think sir!!?

We also provide extra soil and manure suitable for the plant on first purchase.

 Unspoken feelings.

Silent thoughts.

It felt… strangely fitting.

They looked at each other eye to eye and agreed immediately.

She suggested delivery, explaining that carrying it on a bus would be difficult. They chose to go along—they wanted to present the gift themselves.

She handed them care instructions, soil nutrients, and a small manual.

Then she called her subordinate.

"Deliver this carefully," she instructed. "Install it if the owner wishes."

After hearing the detailed description, she told them to wait an awhile.

Thankyou for your purchase , May your purchase will be useful as you wanted it to be. She bid them with smile and gave them a greeting card also for the guest.
