Chapter 21 – The Insects of Blood and Shadows
A silent darkness filled the great red chamber.
Only the low hum of machinery echoed—metal, ancient, advanced…impossible.
At the centre, on a massive throne-like chair made of unknown alloys, sat the first being.
His body leaned back in a relaxed position, but the air around him shook under pressure.
His face remained hidden in shadow, as if light itself feared touching him.
A glowing system panel hovered before him:
---
SYSTEM STATUS – FIRST BEING
Name: Vishra
Species: Asura
---
Nothing else was written.
Yet his mere presence suggested limitless power.
The floor vibrated softly—someone else was in the room.
---
The Second Being
Standing beside a long metallic table, under a dim red light, was the second being.
A massive holographic world map hovered above the table—rotating slowly.
Like Vishra, his face was veiled in shadow.
But his body… enormous.
At least eight feet tall
Thick, dense muscle.
Aura, like a living storm.
His eyes glowed—glowing blood-red pupils, surrounded by endless black sclera.
Then—
A long tongue slid out from his mouth, saliva dripping off the tip and sizzling as it struck the metal floor.
Everyone breathing in that room suffered—even the air itself seemed to collapse.
A system panel flickered:
---
SYSTEM STATUS – SECOND BEING
Name: Adhya
Species: Asura
---
The world map rotated.
Data flashed.
Energy flared.
Adhya spoke first.
His voice was deep, cold, smooth—and terrifying.
Adhya (dark tone):
"Did you see, Vishra? One of my insects finally used his intelligence. But it seems my other favourite insect reached first."
A grin stretched across his unseen face.
Bloodlust echoed in the room.
Adhya:
"I am very eager to meet my second favourite insect… but not yet. My insect needs a bit more power. More pressure. More blood."
Vishra leaned forward slightly on his glowing chair.
His voice vibrated like thunder.
Vishra (deep calm):
"Really now. If you go down there personally, the ecosystem will collapse, and if you meet your favourite insect… then I will meet mine. I hope you are not thinking of training those insects. Because if you do… I will too."
Adhya laughed under his breath—low and cold.
Adhya:
"It makes no difference. My favourite one has pure potential. With or without training, he will grow."
Vishra paused.
The air around him shook.
Vishra:
"Fine. Then I too will train them. But tell me—who is this insect? You once said there are ten insects on Bharat… your favourites."
Adhya's blood-red eyes widened.
The room darkened.
Shadow swirled.
The world blurred.
Scene shattered.
---
Scene Shift – Blood World
Everything turned red.
The sky.
The clouds.
The air feels dead.
In the atmosphere, there is a smell of dead body and blood.
Thunder rumbled like suffering spirits.
Crows make sounds, and many crows eat the flesh of dead bodies.
Vultures tore flesh from drifting corpses.
Below—
A massive lake of blood rippled.
From the crimson water…
A figure slowly rose.
Steam hissed from his skin.
Hair dripping blood.
Back turned.
Face hidden.
But his presence—calm, proud, powerful, evil and fearless.
He ran one hand through his wet hair, pulling it back.
Then he started walking.
Across bodies.
Not tens.
Not hundreds.
Thousands upon thousands of dead zombies, piled like mountains beneath his feet.
Every step echoed like destiny.
He reached the top of the pile and stood tall, silent, confident—like a king.
Behind him, another presence arrived.
A girl.
Face invisible.
A body silhouette glowing red behind thick mist.
Hair curly, falling wildly around her below shoulders.
She smirked.
Unknown Girl (teasing tone):
"Ohh hoo… doing Aura Plus, aren't you?"
The boy turned his head slightly, still his face hidden.
A calm smirk curved on his lips—
a leader's smile.
A warrior's smile.
A devil's smile.

He smiled.
Above them, crows circled.
Blood steam rose.
Dead bodies lay silent.
Two monsters stood ready—
not weak, not afraid—
but rising.
The world trembled.
The universe watched.
The insects had begun to evolve.
The scene shifts to another place.
The ground was covered with bodies.
Thousands of thousands across the floor, piled over each other like broken puppets.
Some were face down, others staring blankly toward the crimson sky above.
At the very top of the pile sat a single figure.
A young man in a black T-shirt rested calmly among the defeated. One leg was raised while the other hung loosely over the bodies beneath him. His elbow rested on his knee, his posture relaxed—as if he were simply taking a seat after a long walk.
Not a trace of urgency could be seen in him.
His face was mostly hidden in shadow, but his silhouette alone carried an overwhelming presence.
The complete blood-red light behind him painted the entire scene in a dark, violent hue, turning the pile of unconscious men into something resembling a throne.
Around him, no one moved.
The battle had clearly ended.
And the one sitting at the top… looked like he had never been in danger at all.

A deep crimson glow swallowed the surroundings, as if the world itself had been set on fire. Smoke drifted through the air, rising slowly from the burning debris scattered across the battlefield.
It was dead zombies that was during.
And within that sea of flames—
A young boy walked forward.
His figure was tall and perfectly built, every step calm and steady. The fire behind him illuminated his body, revealing the sharp outline of powerful muscles beneath his skin. Broad shoulders, a solid chest, and a body honed to absolute perfection.
Yet his face remained hidden.
Only a dark silhouette could be seen beneath the crimson light, making his presence feel even more overwhelming.
It was as if the flames themselves bowed to him.
Then—
A translucent window suddenly appeared beside him.
