The moment Leon and Emilia crossed the invisible boundary, the world around them changed.
The light dimmed, as if a veil had been pulled over the sky.
The air grew heavy and thick, pressing down on their shoulders like an unseen weight.
Even breathing felt different, slower and more difficult.
The ground beneath their feet seemed darker too, stained with a faint crimson hue that almost looked alive.
Emilia shuddered. Her [Constitution] and [Spirit] were both incredibly high.
Very few things in the [Lower Domain] could make her react like that.
Yet here, in this place, her body instinctively warned her that they had stepped somewhere they did not belong.
Leon felt it too. A deep, primal pressure that whispered danger into his mind.
But he wasn't afraid. If anything, he was calm.
