The moment Emilia lifted her scepter, thin strands of shimmering silk burst forth, spreading outward in all directions.
They moved fast, far faster than Leon expected, and in the blink of an eye, they wrapped around every single [Earth Spider] surrounding them.
The monsters didn't even have time to react.
Their legs were bound. Their bodies were locked in place. Some tried to struggle, others screeched, but it was useless.
The silk held them firmly, pinning them to the ground like helpless prey.
"Spiders restrained by silk," Emilia said with a grin, clearly amused. "Interesting."
Leon didn't waste a second. He raised his staff, his expression calm and focused.

The air above the restrained spiders twisted violently as dark clouds formed in an instant. Crackling arcs of lightning danced within them, and then—
