Albert arrived at the gates of the Four-Star Academy, the prestigious institution that brought together the elite of the Scattered Continent and the sons of the ruling families. He didn't enter as a fugitive, but rather under the assumed identity of "Ariel," claiming to be the heir to a fallen family.
Albert used the Soul Ring to conceal ninety percent of his energy, leaving only ten percent visible; enough to make him appear as a young Master (Level 3), a rare feat for someone his age.
The Testing Hall
In the grand training arena, hundreds of students and instructors were observing the Mana Density Test. A young man named Victor, from the lineage of the ruling families, had just set a record using the Black Fire element, impressing everyone.
Victor looked scornfully at Albert, who wore simple clothes concealing his River of Life robes, and said, "The Scattered Continent sends us scum every day... Show us what you've got, country bumpkin." Albert walked toward the enormous measuring stone. He didn't run, nor did he show any excitement. His steps were steady, each one leaving a faint trace of light on the ground.
The Embodiment of Majesty: Summoning the Light
Instead of touching the stone with his hand like the other students, Albert stood five meters away. He closed his eyes and summoned the "Heart of Light." Suddenly, a beam emanated from his chest and pierced the sky, then he murmured in a low voice:
"Summoning the Light: Manifestation of the Sword of Judgment."
Above the measuring stone, an enormous sword of pure light formed. The sword didn't touch the stone; rather, the mere "spiritual pressure" emanating from the sword caused the stone to crack! The stone was colored with the deepest gold, a hue not seen in the Academy for a hundred years.
A deathly silence fell. The lecturers rose from their seats in amazement, and Victor's black flames receded and were extinguished spontaneously before this sovereign light. Albert looked at Victor coldly and said, "The fire you boast about is but a candle in the face of the sun. Do you wish to continue this conversation, or should I allow you to reconsider?"
Victor remained silent; the aura emanating from Albert at that moment was not that of a student, but that of a king looking upon his subjects.
The Call
As Albert left the courtyard amidst looks of admiration and terror, the "Call" echoed in his ears once more:
(You have attracted attention... Prepare yourself, for the seed you seek lies in the basement of this academy... the Space Seed.)
