Chapter 70 - Chapter 70 Tang Ya's Feelings.

Chapter 70 Tang Ya's Feelings.

The three chatted and laughed along the way, enjoying a relaxed and pleasant journey.

Soon, they arrived at Qingshui Town.

After arriving, Deng Mu and the others found a restaurant and had a meal.

"Sister, Sister Xiaoya, how about we rest here for the day and set off again tomorrow?"

After the meal, Deng Mu asked Tang Ya and Jiang Nannan for their opinions.

Tang Ya looked around and nodded slightly, saying, "That's good. We've been traveling quite a bit, so resting here for a day to recharge is a good idea."

Jiang Nannan stretched and agreed, "I have no objection. We can explore Qingshui Town."

So, the three found a hotel in town to stay at.

Tang Ya and Jiang Nannan went shopping together. Along the way, Tang Ya was attracted by the various exquisite ornaments on the street, while Jiang Nannan patiently accompanied her, occasionally offering some helpful suggestions.

Deng Mu, on the other hand, went to a carriage shop to rent a horse-drawn carriage to return to Beicheng the next day.

That coachman was probably out there struggling to survive in the wilderness; if he wasn't lucky, he might have already been eaten by a spirit beast.

Douluo Continent isn't Earth; uninhabited places are extremely dangerous. Even ordinary spirit masters don't dare go to such places, fearing they might encounter something.

Deng Mu arrived at the carriage shop and saw all sorts of carriages parked inside, some ornately decorated, others simple and practical.

He found the owner, explained his purpose, and the owner enthusiastically introduced him to the features and rental prices of the different carriages.

Deng Mu carefully selected one and finally chose a spacious and fast carriage, paid the rental fee, and arranged a departure time for the next day.

After renting the carriage, Deng Mu bought some gifts on the street, planning to give them to Na'er and Yan Yuhua after returning to Beicheng.

In the evening, Deng Mu returned to the hotel, and Tang Ya and Jiang Nannan also returned with their purchases.

Seeing the gifts in Deng Mu's hands, Tang Ya asked curiously, "Xiao Mu, what did you buy all this for?"

Deng Mu smiled and held up the exquisite necklace and bracelet, saying, "These are gifts for Na'er and my mother; I wanted to surprise them."

He had also bought gifts for Tang Ya and Jiang Nannan, but he didn't plan to tell Jiang Nannan now; he would surprise them when they got back.

Tang Ya's eyes lit up as she leaned closer to examine the jewelry. "They're so beautiful! They'll definitely love them." Jiang Nannan also came over, smiling and nodding. "Xiao Mu is so thoughtful."

Deng Mu carefully put away the gifts, then looked at Tang Ya and Jiang Nannan. "Sister, Xiao Ya, how was your shopping today?"

Tang Ya excitedly opened her package, taking out several exquisite pieces of jewelry to show Deng Mu. "Look, Xiao Mu, I bought so many beautiful pieces! Isn't this necklace exquisite? And this hair clip, the pattern on it is so unique."

Jiang Nannan added, "Xiao Ya was so careful when choosing jewelry. She compared each piece repeatedly, making sure to pick the most beautiful one."

Deng Mu smiled and praised, "These pieces suit Xiao Ya perfectly. She'll definitely look even more beautiful wearing them."

Tang Ya's cheeks flushed slightly, and she said somewhat shyly, "It's not that exaggerated. I'm a little embarrassed by what you're saying."

After chatting for a while, the three of them had dinner together and then returned to their respective rooms.

As night deepened, Deng Mu sat in meditation in his room, consolidating his soul power.

Tang Ya, however, tossed and turned in her own room, unable to sleep. Her mind was filled with thoughts of Deng Mu. After much internal struggle, she finally got up and quietly approached Deng Mu's room.

Tang Ya paused outside Deng Mu's door, took a deep breath, and then slowly knocked.

Hearing the knock, Deng Mu was slightly puzzled. He got up and opened the door, seeing Tang Ya standing there, her eyes filled with a hint of nervousness and shyness. "Sister Ya, it's so late, what's wrong?" Deng Mu asked softly.

He sensed that Tang Ya might express her feelings to him today.

Tang Ya lowered her head slightly and said softly, "Xiao Mu, I... I just wanted to spend more time with you. While we were shopping today, you were all I could think about."

She knew that Deng Mu treated her like a sister, but because of what happened yesterday, she decided to express her feelings earlier than expected.

Deng Mu's heart stirred, and he stepped aside to let Tang Ya into the room.

After Tang Ya entered, Deng Mu gently closed the door.

The atmosphere in the room became somewhat heavy. Tang Ya took a deep breath and slowly said, "Xiao Mu, I know you've always seen me as an older sister, not as your fiancée, but I've always liked you, and I don't know how to express my feelings."

She continued, "Yesterday, you shielded me from an attack without hesitation. At that moment, I became even more certain of my feelings. I don't want to just play the role of an older sister to you; I want to be the one who can spend my life with you."

Hearing Tang Ya's words, Deng Mu's heart stirred. Looking at Tang Ya, who appeared slightly nervous yet incredibly determined, he was momentarily speechless.

He had indeed always seen Tang Ya as an older sister, not as his fiancée, mainly because of the long time they had spent together. He had previously agreed to let Tang Ya become his fiancée because he didn't want her to behave like in the original story. Now that Tang Ya had said this, Deng Mu decided to accept her feelings.

Deng Mu looked at Tang Ya, his expression softening and hardening. He gently took her hand and said, "Sister Ya, I always thought it was too early for this kind of thing. After all, we've always gotten along like siblings. Now that I know how you feel, I naturally accept."

Hearing Deng Mu's words, Tang Ya's eyes instantly filled with tears of surprise and emotion. She choked back tears and said, "Xiao Mu, I'm so happy! I thought you'd only ever see me as a sister. I was so afraid you'd reject me."

She didn't know what she would do if Deng Mu had rejected her. Now that he had accepted her feelings, she was incredibly happy.

Tang Ya held Deng Mu's hand tightly, as if afraid it was all a dream. "Xiao Mu, I'm so happy you can accept me. I've thought it all through. Even if you reject me, I won't give up easily. I'll try my best to show you my sincerity and make you like me."

Hearing Tang Ya's words, Deng Mu smiled and wiped away her tears.

Seeing Deng Mu's resolute decision, Tang Ya kissed him and pushed him onto the bed.

Deng Mu was slightly taken aback by the sudden enthusiasm, but quickly became engrossed in it.

"Sister Xiaoya, isn't this... a little too early?"

"Xiao Mu, don't call me Sister Xiaoya today, call me Ya'er, okay?"

"Mmm..."
