Chapter 57 Gathering
Deng Mu cleared his throat and said, "The thing is, I've become an inner court disciple and will be going to the inner court tomorrow."
Tang Ya and Jiang Nannan were both stunned upon hearing this, then their eyes filled with surprise.

After walking for about fifteen minutes, he stopped in front of a restaurant called Jufulou.
This restaurant looked incredibly grand; its three-story wooden structure was intricately carved and painted, the colorful paintings on the eaves and brackets gleaming brightly in the sunlight.
Upon seeing Deng Mu in Shrek Academy attire, the waiter at the entrance immediately greeted him with a beaming smile, saying warmly, "Young master, are you here for a meal? Our Jufu Restaurant is renowned in this area, with exceptional dishes and exquisitely furnished private rooms. Please come in."
Deng Mu nodded slightly and stepped into the restaurant. The main hall was spacious and bright, with tables and chairs neatly arranged, and the sounds of diners' laughter and the clinking of glasses mingled together.
Seeing a customer enter, the innkeeper immediately came out from behind the counter, smiling obsequiously, and asked, "Young master, are you here for a quick bite, a stay, or perhaps to reserve a private room for a banquet?"
Deng Mu replied directly, "I'd like to reserve a private room; I'm having a gathering with friends tonight."

After making the arrangements, Deng Mu returned to the college and headed towards the freshman dormitory.
Upon arriving at the dormitory building, Deng Mu encountered Tang Ya and Jiang Nannan, who were coming downstairs.
Deng Mu looked at Tang Ya and Jiang Nan and asked, "Sister Ya, Sister, how did it go?"
Tang Ya patted Deng Mu's shoulder with a grin and said, "Don't worry, Xiao Mu, I've relayed the message. They're so happy, saying they'll go together tonight, and they kept praising you for getting into the inner courtyard."
Jiang Nan also smiled and nodded in agreement, "Yes, everything's been notified. You can just focus on preparing for tonight's gathering. They should be getting ready right now."

After Jiang Nannan and Tang Ya left, Deng Mu headed towards his dormitory, waiting for the gathering that night.

The group followed the waiter into Jufu Restaurant and arrived at the Juxian Hall.
Deng Mu and the others entered the Juxian Hall and saw Tang Ya and Jiang Nannan already there, chatting and laughing.
As soon as Tang Ya saw them, she immediately stood up, smiling and waving, "You've finally arrived! Nannan and I have been waiting for ages, hoping this gathering will start soon!"
Jiang Nannan also stood up, smiling and nodding, "Please sit down, Jufu Restaurant looks really nice." Everyone took their seats, looking around the exquisitely and comfortably furnished private room. The tables and chairs were brand new, and several elegant calligraphy and paintings hung on the walls, adding a touch of refinement.
Tea and some appetizers were already laid out on the table, emitting an enticing aroma.
Deng Mu smiled and said to everyone, "I've gathered everyone here today because I wanted to have a good time before I go to the inner courtyard, to thank you all for your usual care and support."
