Chapter 41 - Chapter 41 Na'er's Identity.

Chapter 41 Na'er's Identity.

After finishing his business, Deng Mu left the room satisfied.

He estimated that his attack had caused Tang San considerable damage.

Entering the living room, Deng Mu saw Na'er sitting by the door.

Na'er was resting her head on her hands, staring blankly at the people coming and going outside, lost in thought.

"What's wrong, Na'er? What are you thinking about?"

Deng Mu sat down beside Na'er, asking curiously, gently rubbing her head as he spoke.

He felt something was off about Na'er, though he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

Na'er looked at the scenery outside and said, "Na'er is thinking about the future."

Hearing Na'er's words, Deng Mu sighed inwardly, unsure of what to say.

For some reason, Na'er couldn't awaken her martial soul. He had consulted many people about her condition, but none could explain why she couldn't awaken it.

This puzzled Deng Mu; he remembered that people in Douluo Continent could awaken their martial souls, but not necessarily possess soul power.

He even suspected that Na'er, like him, was a transmigrator, though his soul had transmigrated while Na'er's body had.

Deng Mu gently patted Na'er's head: "Na'er, I'll support you in whatever you do, as long as it doesn't cross any lines."

However, he felt that given Na'er's personality, she probably wouldn't do anything that crossed the line; he felt that Na'er wanted to be a lazy, good-for-nothing.

Na'er leaned against Deng Mu, thought for a moment, and jokingly said, "Then I want to marry you, brother, is that okay?"

Hearing Na'er's words, Deng Mu had a knowing look on his face: "I knew it! You've been wanting me to marry you every day, but you were too shy to say it. Now you've finally found the chance to say it."

Hearing Deng Mu's words, Na'er was speechless, unsure of what to say.

Although she knew Deng Mu sometimes said outrageous things, she still felt speechless and unsure what to say when she heard them.

She now had a very good impression of Deng Mu; he always gave her the best food first, and he would worry immensely if she seemed unwell.

Sometimes she thought that if she weren't a soul beast, her life would be much easier and happier.

After leading the soul beasts to revive and raising the second-generation Dragon God, she would live with Deng Mu, but she estimated it would take a long time, and she didn't know how long.

However, she hoped that their relationship would still be the same then.

Na'er looked at Deng Mu and tentatively asked, "Brother, if one day you find out that Na'er lied to you, will you forgive me?"

Deng Mu pondered this, quickly considering Na'er's identity.

After a while, Deng Mu realized Na'er's true identity:

Silver Dragon King Gu Yue Na!

Now, thinking about it carefully, Na'er was indeed the Silver Dragon King, Gu Yuena. He hadn't considered it carefully at first, and he thought it was unlikely to be such a coincidence.

How could someone named Na'er be Gu Yuena?

A normal person would most likely think it was just a coincidence of names, and Na'er acted like a child, because Gu Yuena's personality wouldn't allow that.

Deng Mu thought about why Gu Yuena and Bi Ji had approached him; it was probably because when Tang Hao took him hunting for spirit rings, Gu Yuena detected Tang Hao's aura and sent people to investigate, which led to them seeing the two of them.

Deng Mu guessed that the spirit beast that came to investigate was most likely Bi Ji.

If it were someone like Di Tian sent, Tang Hao would definitely take him away from the Star Dou Great Forest quickly. But if it were someone like Bi Ji, Tang Hao would keep Bi Ji as his spirit ring.

Bi Ji's healing ability is indeed very powerful. He had considered making Bi Ji his spirit ring before, but after thinking about it, he felt that the possibility was unlikely.

Because when he went there, Di Tian and the others would be with Bi Ji. If they found that they couldn't kill him, their first reaction would definitely be to seal him, and then they would be in big trouble.

Now, no matter whose seal it is, he has no way to break it.

After thinking all this, Deng Mu chuckled and said to Na'er, "If I find out that Na'er has been lying to me all along, then I'll spank Na'er's little bottom and teach her a little lesson."

Hearing Deng Mu's words, Na'er's face couldn't help but turn red. She didn't want to be spanked by Deng Mu, and she felt a little relieved.

It seemed that Deng Mu didn't care much about her lying to him.

Deng Mu pinched Na'er's cheek and said, "You little rascal, you're blushing again. If you really lied to your brother, but there's something you can't say, I'll forgive you, but a spanking is still necessary."

Na'er was initially touched by Deng Mu's words, thinking he was truly a good brother and feeling somewhat guilty.

However, upon hearing the rest, all her feelings vanished.

"You jerk, give me back my feelings!"

Na'er blushed and gently patted Deng Mu's shoulder, saying, "Bad brother, you always bully Na'er."

She stood up and walked towards the bedroom, looking somewhat angry.

Seeing this, Deng Mu panicked and quickly got up to follow Na'er into the bedroom.

"Na'er, brother was wrong, please forgive brother, okay?"

"Hmph."

Na'er pretended to be angry, still ignoring Deng Mu, sitting on the bed waiting for him to coax her.

For some reason, she quite liked Deng Mu coaxing her; it made her feel very comfortable. Seeing Deng Mu interacting with Bi Ji, she felt inexplicably jealous.

Seeing Na'er's expression, Deng Mu knew she wanted him to comfort her. Feeling somewhat helpless, he continued to coax her.

She was now his sister, even without blood ties. Unless Na'er disowned him, they would have no further relationship. Na'er leaned against Deng Mu's chest: "Hmph, I'll forgive you this time. If you bully me again, I'll tell Mom."

Deng Mu hugged Na'er and said, "Okay, okay, I'm really scared of you. I'll take you to buy candied hawthorns later."

Na'er nodded in agreement. She didn't know why she liked candied hawthorns; they just seemed to have some kind of magic.

"Brother, do you like Sister Biji?"

"Huh?"

Deng Mu was taken aback when Na'er asked this question again.

He definitely liked her; after all, they had been together for so long, it was impossible for him not to have feelings. He wasn't a cold-blooded person.

However, he didn't understand Na'er's purpose. Did she want him to be with Biji?

Deng Mu thought for a moment and said, "I do like her, but it's not to the point where I can't live without her. However, compared to you, Brigitte is definitely far inferior."

Hearing Deng Mu's words, Na'er blushed again, not knowing why she often blushed.
