Chapter 42 - caocao

The firelight illuminated half the sky.

Ruan Shengyuan, the logistics officer, was frantic, pacing back and forth in the camp like a cat on a hot tin roof.

The camp had suddenly caught fire, and the flames were spreading rapidly.

Strangely, the intelligent fire suppression system was completely ineffective; not a single drop of water came out of the sprinklers.

The communication system was also broken; no matter how he called out, only harsh static filled the communicator.

Most bizarrely, the soldiers who had been bustling about were dwindling in number, as if they had vanished into thin air.

"Damn it! What happened?" Ruan Shengyuan thought anxiously.

He and two subordinates set up a firebreak around the armory to prevent the fire from spreading to the ammunition depot.

If the ammunition depot exploded, the entire camp would be blown to smithereens.

"Go! To the officers' rest area!" Ruan Shengyuan ordered.

In this situation, they had to find the platoon leader.

The three men ran quickly towards the officers' rest area.

The night wind howled, carrying a strong, acrid smell of burning.

The firelight danced behind them, casting long shadows.

Along the way, they encountered not a single person.

The entire camp was like a ghost town, with only the crackling of flames.

"Jian Xinghe! Huang Shan! Qi Quan!" Ruan Shengyuan shouted loudly.

  No one answered.

Only the fire grew larger, thick smoke billowing and obscuring the moonlight.

"When we get to the platoon leader, his strength should be fine," Ruan Shengyuan said as he ran, "Let's keep an eye on Lieutenant Zhu's safety."

As soon as he finished speaking, there was no reply, only the sound of the flames.

Ruan Shengyuan was startled, stopped in his tracks, and looked to the side.

His two subordinates stood there, eyes wide, frozen in their running posture.

  "This is..." Ruan Shengyuan gasped.

  A telekinetic master!

Only a telekinetic master could do this, directly controlling a large number of targets.

Ruan Shengyuan dared not linger and immediately ran towards the rest area where Cao Dan was.

His heart was pounding, and cold sweat rolled down his forehead.

As a technical logistics officer, although he was also a junior professional, his combat strength was weak.

If he encountered a telekinetic master, he would have no chance of fighting back.

When he arrived at the officers' rest area, Jian Xinghe and Qi Quan were also there.

But the two of them were in strange postures, as if they were about to speak.

Ruan Shengyuan quickly passed by the two of them, and out of the corner of his eye, he saw their blank expressions, just like his two subordinates.

He rushed to the door and raised his hand to knock on it.

  "Platoon Leader! Lieutenant Zhu!"

After knocking on the door twice, his whole body suddenly became paralyzed.

An invisible force bound him, making him unable to move an inch.

He saw a shadow getting closer and closer, getting shorter and shorter.

A blood-stained hand reached out from behind him and pressed against the door.

The hand was very white, but the nails were full of blood.

There were several deep wounds on the palm, and blood was still seeping out.

A layer of pale white air currents emanated from the hand, spreading like ripples.

The alloy door, mixed with reddish-brown iron, visibly creaked under the force.

  "Creak..."

The metal groaned under the strain.

  "Boom!"

The door was ripped apart and crashed to the ground with a deafening roar.

Ruan Shengyuan could only watch helplessly as a barefoot woman, dressed in a tattered blue robe and covered in blood, walked inside.

Suddenly, a dazzling red light erupted from the room.

A massive energy surge burst forth, like a volcanic eruption.

A large amount of dust swept out, forming a gray shockwave.

The barefoot woman was blasted away like a kite with a broken string.

Ruan Shengyuan, Jian Xinghe, and the others were also thrown back by the shockwave.

  "Bang bang bang!!!"

Several heavy thuds echoed as objects hit the ground.

Ruan Shengyuan lay on the ground, feeling as if his bones were about to shatter.

He struggled to see what had happened.

  He heard a sound.

  "Tap tap tap..."

It was the sound of high heels on the concrete.

Two figures appeared in the courtyard.

One tall, one short, both dressed in blue robes.

"The Crimson Field...it's Miss Akabane inside," the petite figure said with interest, her voice clear as a bell. "Gray Binding must be there too."

  ...

  Inside the training room.

  Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Cao Dan sat cross-legged on the floor, completely naked.

Gray sweat dripped from his body, emitting a pungent stench.

His breathing grew louder and louder, like a bellows.

The exhaled air swirled in the room, forming white vortexes.

The firearms hanging on the walls and placed on metal racks began to vibrate, making a "click-click-click" sound.

Cao Dan's face kept changing color.

One moment it was white, the next it was blue...

With each change in complexion, his body temperature rose several degrees, and the vortex of qi in his dantian grew stronger.

As a result, his muscles visibly bulged, especially in his limbs.

  "Bang! bang! bang!"

Muscles stretched out one by one.

From his fingers to his arms, then to his chest and back...

his height increased rapidly, his physique becoming a full size larger than before.

Crouching on the ground, he resembled a small mountain.

Cao Dan's skin radiated heat, and the moisture in the air quickly vaporized, forming a layer of white mist.

The temperature in the training room soared to over sixty degrees Celsius, like a steamer.

Thanks to his various martial arts specialties, the effects of the various martial arts skills he had previously practiced, and Cao Dan's strong physique and solid foundation,

he finally managed to successfully cultivate a portion of the first volume of the *King of Soldiers' Manual* in three days

. Indeed, as the preface stated, mastering martial arts leads to mastery in all aspects.

After mastering the first part of the first volume, "The Origin and Flow of Qi," namely "Original Qi," one can also cultivate a portion of the second volume, "Nine Transformations of Body Tempering," and the third volume, "Six Essentials of Qi Utilization."

Cao Dan slowly opened his eyes, four colors flashing within them: white, blue, black, and red.

He stood up and walked to the dressing mirror.

The person in the mirror surprised even himself.

Over two meters tall, his arms were thicker than a normal person's thighs.

The muscles bulging on his shoulders, along with his back, made his entire upper body almost triangular.

Except for his still handsome face, his whole body had changed drastically.

He looked like a humanoid beast, full of explosive power.

A large amount of information appeared in his vision:

[You have cultivated the "King of Soldiers' Technique"...]

[By drawing inferences, the internal energy cultivation methods and martial arts skills you have mastered have been improved to varying degrees...]

[The special effects of the martial arts skills you have mastered—Great Strength, Fast Sword, Flameless Qi, Iron Body... have been improved to varying degrees...]

[You have mastered over dozens of martial arts skills cultivated to special attributes, as well as basic martial arts feats. You have gained the following feats...]

[Feats: Copper Skin and Iron Bones, Innate Breathing, Qi Following the Mind, Anticipating the Enemy's Moves...]

Feat [Martial Arts Without Limits] Effect: Martial arts transformation takes effect, constitution and internal energy attributes soar...

  [Constitution: 34.56]

  [Internal Qi: 81.33]

Cao Dan felt the surging power within him, his mood exhilarated. He felt he could destroy an armored vehicle with a single punch.

He had only felt hot before, but now his whole body felt itchy.

Without him scratching, his muscles twitched automatically.

Large flakes of skin fell from the white energy wave, hitting the ground with a "plop" sound.

After more than ten minutes, the indoor temperature slowly decreased, and the white energy wave gradually dissipated.

A young man with long black hair and a muscular physique, shirtless, walked towards the door.

With each step, his muscles twitched, gradually transforming into a normal physique.

Just as he grasped the doorknob, the door suddenly trembled slightly.

Cao Dan's ears twitched; he heard a woman's scream outside.

  "Ah!"

"That voice...it sounds like Qiao Weiyin?" Cao Dan frowned.

The living room was a scene of utter chaos.

The sofa was torn to shreds, sponge and leather scattered everywhere.

The liquor cabinet was smashed, glass shards lying in the liquor like diamonds, carpeting the floor.

The curtains were ripped down and piled on the floor.

The walls were riddled with cracks, some even punched through to expose the steel reinforcement.    Qiao

Weiyin and Teng Lingxiang were surrounded by a gray, metallic mist. The   mist churned and surged   , occasionally flashing with crimson light.   Drops of blood dripped from Qiao Weiyin's shoulder, splattering onto the floor.   Her face was pale, blood trickling from the corner of her mouth.   Her black tracksuit was torn, revealing large expanses of pale skin.   A deep wound on her shoulder continued to bleed.   Standing behind her, Zhu Hanhong reached out, his palm radiating a soft green light. He gently stroked the wound, the green light seeping into it, quickly neutralizing the foreign energy and causing the wound to close.   The blood stopped flowing, and new granulation tissue began to grow from the wound's edges, healing at a visible speed.   "There's actually a life-type ability user here," said the petite ability user named Xiaodie with great interest.   She sat on the windowsill, legs swinging, holding a cup of coffee, looking relaxed.   "Sister Dragon Girl, we should take this person with us too," Nie Die said with a grin. "Director Luo will definitely like it. Life-type ability users are rare; they can fetch a lot of money."   "Understood." A woman's voice came from behind the tall figure standing behind Nie Die, her face hidden by a hood.   The voice was deep, carrying a wild charm.   As soon as she finished speaking, the tall figure moved.   She was incredibly fast, like lightning, instantly rushing to the front of the crimson-gray mist.   She threw a punch.   "Boom!"   The air exploded with a deafening roar.   A ring of air surged forth, like a bomb exploding, scattering all the surrounding gray metallic mist.   Before the gray metallic mist could coalesce, the tall figure moved again.   A large, wheat-colored hand sprang from the sleeve; the hand was long and powerful, with slender fingers but distinct knuckles, exuding strength.   She directly tore apart the gray metallic mist, along with the crimson force field.   "Rip!"   A sound like tearing cloth rang out.   Qiao Weiyin and Teng Lingxiang's expressions changed drastically, and they hurriedly retreated.   They simultaneously unleashed their abilities; a massive amount of gray mist, wrapped in crimson power, enveloped the tall figure like quicksand.   The two simultaneously made a grasping motion with one hand and shouted in unison, "Explode!"   The gray metallic mist, glowing with a red aura, suddenly contracted inward.   Its volume rapidly collapsed from a sphere with a radius of three meters into a sphere less than half a meter wide.   The sphere, like a metallic planet, glowed with an eerie red light, constantly rotating and compressing.   "Crack, crack, crack..."   The sound of metal rubbing together rang out, piercing and sharp.   Chunks of gray metallic mist solidified and fell from the sphere, hitting the ground with dull thuds.   Bloodstains stained the metal chunks, a glaring, bright red.   "Is it dead?" The two women stared warily at the metallic sphere, not daring to let their guard down.   Sure enough, just as several basin-sized fragments fell from the sphere   , a flash of golden light suddenly appeared within the gray mist flowing inside.   "Crack, crack, crack..."   The cracks on the surface of the metallic sphere gradually multiplied, growing larger and larger, spreading like a spiderweb.   A metallic, feather-like blade suddenly emerged, incredibly sharp, gleaming with a cold light.   Fujii Ayaka and Qiao Weiyin hurriedly activated their powers, attempting to increase the sphere's size and force it to collapse further.   Beads of sweat rolled down their foreheads.   The power within the metallic sphere grew stronger and stronger, showing no fear of their strength.   Immediately afterward, the crackling sounds intensified.   Golden blades pierced the metal sphere one after another, like butterflies emerging from their cocoons.   "Bang! Bang!"   The entire metal sphere shattered completely, gray metal fragments exploding into a cloud of gray mist.   From the shadows, a tall figure's back rippled, flashes of golden light occasionally appearing.   Accompanying this was an extremely powerful aura, pressing down like a mountain.   Qiao Weiyin and Teng Lingxiang felt their breathing become difficult, as if a mountain was pressing down on their chests.   The tall figure slowly emerged, her blue hooded robe torn to shreds, revealing her true face.   It was a tall, curvaceous woman.   Her skin was a healthy wheat color, radiating a honey-like glow, full of tension.   A pair of metallic golden wings sprouted from her back, each feather as if cast in gold, shimmering with dazzling light.   With a gentle flap of her wings, she stirred up a golden storm.   Her body was almost naked, except for her wrists, ankles, chest, and lower abdomen, which were covered by a golden metallic substance.   The metal, like armor, clung to her body, outlining perfect curves.

The gray mist dissipated, fully revealing her face.

It was a wild and alluring face.

Her hair was silver-white, the strands flowing freely like swords tempered with stardust, shimmering with silver light under the refraction of her powers.

A pair of golden horns grew from the top of her head, curving backward, her pointed ears like those of an elf.

Her eyes were light gray, the pupils bright and sharp, the corners slanted, exuding a bewitching charm within her majesty.

Her lips were clearly defined, a natural light pink or pale red.

The woman's lips were pursed into a straight line, unable to conceal the occasional low, husky breaths that rolled from her throat.

Her eyes moved, a captivating allure lurking at the corners of her mouth.

"This figure, it really is you..." Qiao Weiyin's voice trembled slightly, "The Dragon Girl, the sixth seat of the Forest Surveillance Bureau's Special Operations Department."

Teng Lingxiang also recognized her, her eyes trembling slightly, her body shaking uncontrollably.

The Dragon Girl, a legendary figure in the Forest Surveillance Bureau's Special Operations Department.

It was said that she was an experimental subject with dragon blood, while others said she wasn't even human, possessing terrifyingly powerful strength.

She once single-handedly wiped out a thousand-strong stronghold of the Raiders Alliance.

Her fighting style was extremely brutal; she preferred close-quarters combat, tearing enemies apart with her golden wings.

"Greybeard, Akabane, you two leave now, and I can plead with the Dragon Girl for you." Not far away, Nie Die held a salvaged cup of coffee, slowly savoring it.

Her expression was relaxed, as if the battle had nothing to do with her.

"Since the Dragon Girl has already appeared, then you are Nie Die, the fifth seat." Qiao Weiyin looked at the petite figure and said in a deep voice.

"Bingo! You guessed right!" Nie Die said with a grin, "But there's no reward."

She swirled the coffee cup in her hand, causing ripples in the coffee.

"You two are going to betray the Madam?" Fuji Ayaka warned, her voice filled with anger.

"Without loyalty, how can there be betrayal?" Nie Die pouted, taking a sip of coffee. "We're not the Children of Dawn, really."

She squinted, a look of enjoyment on her face. "So delicious, it tastes like Pan Ke brand. Luckily, I snatched it when the fight broke out, otherwise it would have been a waste."

She paused, then continued, "If you don't get killed by Sister Dragon Girl after finishing this half-pot of coffee, I'll consider you my enemies."

As Nie Die finished speaking, the golden wings on Dragon Girl's back flapped gently.

  "Whoosh!!!!"

The air was drawn into a tornado with golden threads, directly scattering the newly condensed gray metallic mist.

The tornado was as sharp as a blade, cutting deep trenches in the ground wherever it passed.

Around Qiao Weiyin, Teng Lingxiang, and Zhu Hanhong, whom they were protecting behind them, gray metallic mist and flashing golden light kept colliding.

  "Clang clang clang!!!!"

Sparks flew, and the dull thuds of collisions were endless.

  "Bang bang bang..."

Blood gradually seeped from Qiao Weiyin's mouth, her face growing paler and paler.

Fuji Ayaka wasn't in much better shape; her body was limp, and cold sweat poured from her forehead.

Although their abilities were powerful, they were still far from enough against an opponent of the Dragon Girl's caliber.

The two exchanged a glance, a resolute glint in their eyes.

Fuji Ayaka's crimson energy field suddenly intensified, the temperature soared, and the surrounding air began to distort.

She wrapped herself around the other two women, skimming the ground as she tried to move quickly away.

Seeing this, Nie Die's lips curled into a smile. "At this distance, no one can escape."

  A flash of golden light!

The Dragon Girl's figure vanished instantly, as if teleported, intercepting the crimson energy field.

  "Crack!!!!"

A shattering sound echoed in the air, like glass breaking, and countless cracks appeared in the crimson force field.

The three were immediately stopped and slammed heavily to the ground.

Three golden lights flashed again in the air, and a gray mist emerged, barely blocking the attack.

"An opponent of this level, relying solely on the resonance of our shared abilities is not enough to contend with..." Qiao Weiyin gritted her teeth.

"We have no choice but to unleash our genes. If we don't die this time, I'll beat that bastard Cao Dan to death."

"The attack came too fast. We've only been fighting for seven or eight minutes. Even if Cao Dan came, he might not be able to handle the Dragon Girl, let alone Nie Die." Hearing this, Teng Lingxiang thought to herself.

"Now, we can only fight to the death."

The two's bodies began to undergo drastic changes, and a large amount of energy overflowed.

"Dragon Girl, don't let them unleash their genes." Nie Die sat on the hole in the window, swinging her legs, and leisurely gave instructions.

"I know." The Dragon Girl said in a deep voice.

Her wings reversed and wrapped around her chest, and her entire figure disappeared again.

When she reappeared, the Dragon Girl transformed into a golden light and crashed into the two of them at lightning speed.

  "Boom!"

Both figures were sent flying backward...

  ...

Hearing the commotion, Cao Dan immediately turned the metal doorknob and rushed from the basement to the upper floor.

He had just straightened up and stepped out of the passageway when

  , "Bang!"

a huge shockwave came from inside the door.

Two figures flew out of the living room together.

It was Qiao Weiyin with gray hair, and Teng Lingxiang with black hair.

Without thinking, Cao Dan immediately opened his arms and gave them a big hug.

The two women crashed into his arms.

Cao Dan felt two soft touches, and a faint, warm scent of sweat wafted into his nostrils.

"Hmm, feels good." The moment he touched them, letters came to mind.

  "A big C, a big D, very good, well-endowed."

Cao Dan held two beautiful women in his arms, his fingers constantly kneading them.

"You..." The two women blushed and tried to struggle.

Cao Dan ignored the women in his arms, his eyes falling on the opposite side. He first looked at the Dragon Girl, his gaze lingering on her chest for three seconds.

Her full breasts, covered in golden metallic material, shimmered alluringly in the moonlight.

Then he looked at the petite figure in the window.

[I hope readers remember our domain name Taiwan Novel Network → 𝔱𝔴𝔨𝔞𝔫.𝔠𝔬𝔪]

Looking at each other, Cao Dan said coldly, "Where are my wives?"

"Is this it?" Nie Die pointed to the figure behind her with a grin.

Outside the window, red wavy hair fluttered in the wind, and stood a beautiful figure, none other than Zhu Hanhong, who looked stunned.

"When?" The two women in Cao Dan's arms coughed up blood and asked in astonishment.

They had been protecting Zhu Hanhong, but somehow, he had been taken control of by Nie Die.

Nie Die's gaze fell on Cao Dan, her eyes lingering on his bare upper body. Her pink tongue licked her cherry-red lips, and her gaze finally settled on the ground at Cao Dan's feet.

It was Cao Dan's military uniform jacket.

"The epaulettes are thicker, he seems to be a civil service officer from Maral Town," Nie Die said with a grin.

"Sister Dragon Girl, we think we killed a civil service officer ten years ago," she turned to Dragon Girl, "I remember we were both injured back then." "

Then let's weigh you in." Dragon Girl's gaze fell on Cao Dan, whose body was speckled with golden spots.

"Fine, fine, weigh me in!" Cao Dan sneered.

He casually tossed the two women in his arms into the basement passage.

  "Ah!" the two women exclaimed.

He lifted his heel, and the alloy door mixed with red crystal iron wedged directly into the door frame, a cloud of lime powder falling from the door frame.

Cao Dan placed one hand on his trousers, and with a flick of his other hand, a flash of azure light appeared.

A metallic belt flew out from a corner and fastened around his waist.

Cao Dan surveyed his surroundings. His house, apart from a few crumbling walls, was almost entirely destroyed.

The sofa, wine cabinet, and coffee table were all reduced to fragments.

Not far away, flames raged across the camp, thick smoke billowing and obscuring the night sky.

It was obvious that the camp had also been severely damaged.

The hairs on Cao Dan's body trembled slightly, sensing numerous presences.

Most of the soldiers were still alive, but motionless, likely controlled by the woman's telekinesis.

  Cao Dan's expression relaxed slightly.

A hot night breeze blew from the direction of the camp, carrying the acrid smell of burning.

Cao Dan walked step by step into the living room, his body temperature rising steadily.

Clusters of flames ignited on his skin—white, blue, red, and black.

The flames danced on his body like living things.

As Cao Dan stepped out, his long black hair rose and fell with the air currents, his entire body enveloped in an aura of power.

"Release my wife's telekinetic control, and I promise I won't shatter you," Cao Dan said coldly.

"A martial artist with multiple levels of internal energy, truly troublesome," Nie Die said, her purple eyes reflecting the figure radiating power, her tone turning even colder.

"But don't think that this level will make me release her."

The Dragon Girl moved as well, the golden spots around her swelling to the size of a washbasin.

Reflecting the golden light, they made her wheat-colored skin gleam, like a female war goddess forged from gold.

  "Crack!"

The ceramic tiles beneath Cao Dan's feet shattered into pieces, blown to dust by the surrounding air.

  "Crack!"

  Another crisp sound.

  Cao Dan's figure had vanished!

"What?" The Dragon Girl didn't move, her face showing a grave expression.

Her golden wings, as if possessing a mind of their own, automatically bent and shielded the back of her head.

  "Boom!"

A heel slammed into the golden feather blade, creating a ring of air that exploded.

The immense impact caused the dragon girl's body to tilt forward, her feet carving two deep furrows in the ground.

  "Bang bang bang!"

The two walls that hadn't collapsed crumbled completely, along with the wall beneath Nie Die's bottom.

Bricks and stones rained down, dust billowing everywhere.

Nie Die remained motionless, maintaining her seated posture, suspended in mid-air.

However, the coffee cup in her hand froze in mid-air.

A large hand, enveloped in black flames, gripped her neck.

Cao Dan had appeared behind her without her noticing.

"Release me. Be my woman, and I think my woman and my brothers will forgive you." Cao Dan's voice, warm with heat, swept over her head.

His voice carried a hint of mockery, but the pressure on his hand continued to increase.

Nie Die felt the pressure on her neck, making it difficult to breathe.

But a smile remained on her face: "You think this can threaten me?"

Two flashes of blue light appeared in Cao Dan's eyes.

constitution was only 5.96, but her psychic and mechanical powers were extremely strong. What was this amplifier?

Cao Dan absolutely refused to believe that this girl's psychic and mechanical powers could be that high.

"Internal energy 68.33, physique 24.46. Even with the amplifier, judging by the numbers alone, she's a tough opponent." Cao Dan frowned slightly.

The Dragon Girl's strength was greater than he had imagined.

However, his current internal energy was 81.33 and his physique 34.56, giving him an advantage on the numbers.

"But she has dragon blood; her combat power might be stronger than the data shows." Cao Dan was wary.

Just then, the Dragon Girl moved.

The Dragon Girl remained completely unfazed. The entire space was filled with dense, scale-like golden spots that instantly caught Cao Dan's eye.

Cao Dan's pupils contracted slightly, not out of fear, but out of surprise at her resolute nature, unlike the two he had encountered before, Qiao Teng and his companion.

Her figure vanished like lightning, reappearing before Cao Dan in the next second.

  She unleashed a punch!

The Dragon Girl's fist was enveloped in golden light, like a fist forged from gold, radiating terrifying pressure.   "Dragon Fist!"   The air exploded with a deafening roar. "Then die."

Cao   Dan coldly snorted, meeting the Dragon Girl's fist with one hand. His other large hand clenched, and the Nirvana Butterfly in his hand exploded into purple fireworks with a "bang." "   Psychic Illusion!" Cao Dan's pupils constricted; his punch had just met the Dragon Girl's.   "Boom!!!!"   Four-colored flames surged from Cao Dan's body, intertwining with the Dragon Girl's boundless golden light.   Like two meteors colliding at close range, they erupted in blinding light, turning everything around them white.   The air, compressed by the two forces, transformed into shockwaves, emitting a violent explosion that spread outwards in a ring.   On the ground, fragments of broken reinforced concrete structures were blown in all directions like pieces of paper.   "Crack!"   The ground beneath their feet couldn't withstand the shock; jagged cracks spread outwards from the two of them like a spiderweb.   Finally, it shattered into a bottomless fissure, revealing the soil and charred rock beneath.   Cao Dan slid back three steps, each step causing the earth to tremble. The high-strength concrete blocks beneath his feet shattered into dust.   A hint of surprise flashed in his eyes; this woman's power was so pure and immense.   The Dragon Girl took two steps back, a look of astonishment on her face. "Such powerful strength!"   She was shaken, her light gray pupils trembling.   Her Dragon Fist, a killing move combining dragon genes and a powerful physique, had once reduced a fully armed tracked armored vehicle to scrap metal with a single punch.   Yet this man before her, a man whose physique wasn't particularly imposing,   had actually withstood her full-force attack head-on, even feeling a considerable force of recoil.   "As expected of someone with dragon blood, this power is indeed impressive," Cao Dan thought to himself.   He cracked his knuckles and grinned, "Nothing special."   Hearing this, anger flared instantly in the Dragon Girl's eyes.   Since arriving in this Bone-Icy Forest, she hadn't been so easily underestimated in so many years.   The Dragon Girl's golden wings, which had been tucked behind her, suddenly unfurled with a "whoosh."   "Dragon Wing Slash!"   Her figure vanished again like lightning, her golden wings flapping behind her.   Moving at breakneck speed, her two wings transformed into two golden afterimages, nimbly and powerfully coordinating with her punches and kicks, slashing wildly at Cao Dan.   The speed was so fast that it was impossible to see clearly; only delayed sonic booms could be heard.   A cold blue light flashed in Cao Dan's eyes, and he activated all his special abilities.   His body reacted instinctively, dodging left and right; for a moment, the ground was filled with their afterimages.   The dragon girl's attacks grazed Cao Dan repeatedly, failing to hit him.   Suddenly, the dragon girl's golden wings lashed out.   "Whoosh!"   A golden arc grazed Cao Dan's cheek, the scorching sharpness even causing a stinging pain on his skin.   "That was close!" Cao Dan thought in surprise.   His feet were now bare.   His magnetic military boots, unable to withstand the impact of the high-speed collisions with the dragon girl, had been crushed under his feet.   Beneath his bare feet, a white aura surged forth; with a swift sidestep, he dodged the dragon wing's cut once more.   "Not bad speed, but not enough!" Cao Dan breathed slightly and sneered.   His figure suddenly disappeared, reappearing behind the Dragon Girl the next second.   "[Quick Sword] +1 +1 +1..." A dazzling blue light appeared in Cao Dan's eyes.   [Instant Sword]!!!   The four-colored flames surrounding his hand blade turned into a single white, which vanished instantly. A whistling sound rang in his ears as the white hand blade slashed across the back of the Dragon Girl's neck.   The Dragon Girl reacted quickly, her golden wings immediately returning to defend, crossing in front of her neck.   "Clang!"   The white hand blade struck the golden wings, producing a deafening metallic clang that sent   sparks flying, drowning out the flames burning in the distant camp.   The Dragon Girl was thrown forward by the force of the attack, somersaulting in the air before landing steadily on the ground.   She looked down at her wings and saw a faint white mark clearly visible on her golden dragon wings.   "You actually managed to damage my dragon wings?" The dragon girl's pupils constricted sharply in shock.   Her dragon wings were her strongest defense, with a hardness comparable to B-grade materials.   Yet this man before her had managed to leave a mark on them.   "It seems I underestimated you." The dragon girl's expression turned serious.   She took a deep breath, and the golden light emanating from her body became even more dazzling.   The golden spots that had previously drifted around her now shone with golden light.

  "Dragon Force Field!"

A powerful pressure erupted from the Dragon Girl, sweeping outwards from her center.

The surrounding air instantly became extremely heavy, and Cao Dan felt an unbearable difficulty breathing, as if his lungs were being constricted by iron hoops, unable to contract.

His movements also became sluggish and stagnant, a feeling that reminded him of the binding formations in fantasy novels from his previous life.

"Is this the pressure of the dragon race?" Cao Dan thought to himself, but his expression remained unchanged.

The Dragon Girl's golden aura swayed gracefully, and visible shockwaves appeared around her. With a slight movement, her figure disappeared again.

Cao Dan's martial arts vortex spun rapidly, his inner energy surging forth. He immediately broke free from the force field's suppression and swung his fist upwards, his inner force condensing into a spiral-shaped black energy ball in front of his fist.

Before his fist was fully extended, a dazzling golden light flashed above Cao Dan's head.

The Dragon Girl had teleported directly above him, her body completely enveloped in golden wings, like a golden meteorite falling from the sky with earth-shattering force.

  "Boom!"

Cao Dan took the hit head-on; the terrifying impact made his legs buckle, and he instantly shrunk in height.

The high-strength concrete foundation beneath his feet caved in like tofu before this force.

A massive crater, several meters deep, instantly formed around him, spewing out debris and dust like a volcanic eruption.

Before Cao Dan could recover from the impact, the golden light surrounding the Dragon Girl shone brightly again.

This time, the golden dragon force field expanded instantly, enveloping the entire official's residential area, including the crater where Cao Dan lay.

A gigantic, pinkish-purple cartoon hammer appeared out of thin air above Cao Dan's head, slamming down fiercely into him in the crater.

  "Bang! Bang! Bang!"

The hammer blows were accompanied by deafening roars, sending dust billowing from the deep pit and scattering gravel like raindrops in all directions.

At the same time, thick, purple, spring-shaped ropes, as if alive, emerged from all directions.

They twisted strangely, tracing eerie arcs in the air, all reaching into the dust cloud stirred up by the cartoon hammer.

Just then, on a distant patch of ruins, Nie Die suddenly appeared.

Nie Die had appeared in the distance at some unknown time; her blue hooded robe was gone, replaced by silver-white Western-style warrior armor.

Her hair was silver-white, with a purple ribbon tied in her hair swaying gently in the wind. She wore a purple and white striped top paired with a purple skirt with lace trim.

"This is the most comfortable state I've ever been in," Nie Die's demeanor had changed drastically; her posture was languid, yet carried a hint of dashing elegance.

A flash of golden light, and the Dragon Girl appeared beside Nie Die. The two women stood side by side, each radiating a powerful aura.

Amidst the dust, the hammering sounds of "thump, thump, thump..." continued, muffled yet powerful, seemingly endless.

Suddenly, a purple spring rope snapped taut with a crack, then sprang out of the dust like a startled snake.

  Then, a second, a third…

more spring ropes snapped in succession.

In the hazy distance, a gigantic figure, exuding an irresistible aura, slowly rose from the dust-filled pit.

Even through the swirling dust, the terrifying pressure was palpable.

Nie Die and the Dragon Girl exchanged a glance; the purple and golden energy emanating from their bodies blended seamlessly, transforming the battleground into a purplish-gold hue.

The golden wings that had been coiled on the Dragon Girl's back unfurled instantly upon contact with Nie Die's purple energy, each feather's edge shimmering with purplish-gold light.

With a flap of her wings, countless golden feather blades shot out like a torrential rain.

Empowered by purplish-gold energy, these blades transformed into flowing golden blades wreathed in purplish-gold light, hurtling into the deep pit.

The enormous figure within the pit was forcefully suppressed.

Nie Die stretched out her hand, and the air in her palm distorted, conjuring a silver longbow and a purple arrow out of thin air.

She drew the bowstring taut, drawing massive amounts of purplish-gold energy from the fusion field, frantically converging it onto the arrow.

The arrow expanded to an astonishing size in a short time, its surface wreathed in dense golden-purple energy.

  "Boom!!!!!"

The arrow left the bowstring with a deafening roar, leaving a massive purplish-gold trail hundreds of meters long, slamming directly into the pit.

In an instant, a purplish-gold mushroom cloud rose into the sky, dyeing the entire sky above the main official's residential area purplish-gold.

Golden and purple threads of energy collided, carrying violent shockwaves, blowing away all debris without leaving a trace.

Nie Die's eyes turned cold. Her purple Western-style dress swayed in the wind, revealing her white lace legs.

A silver streak suddenly shot out from the center of the explosion, moving at incredible speed.

  Immediately afterward, one, two, three...

incredibly fast, attacking Nie Die from all directions.

Golden feather-like wings appeared, directly enveloping Nie Die in their arms. With a flap of her wings, the dragon girl soared into the sky.

Night fell, turning into a purple-gold frost.

Golden wings soared into the sky, dozens of silver streaks of light hot on their heels.

These streaks shimmered with azure mechanical energy, moving at incredible speed, emitting sharp whooshing sounds as they cut through the air.

"What is this?" the Dragon Girl frowned.

"It's a mechanical creation!" Nie Die narrowed her eyes, a flicker of excitement in her purple pupils.

She stretched out her hand, purple mechanical energy ripples spreading out, forming purple mechanical tentacles that attempted to control the silver streaks of light.

But these streaks of light seemed to possess a self-awareness, nimbly dodging her mental power and continuing their pursuit.

"You can't escape!" the Dragon Girl said in a deep voice.

She swerved rapidly in the air, her golden wings cutting through the air with a piercing sonic boom.

But the silver streaks of light also changed direction, remaining locked onto them.

A ruthless glint flashed in the Dragon Girl's eyes. She suddenly stopped and turned to face the pursuing streaks of light.

  "Dragon's Breath!"

She opened her mouth, and a golden beam of energy shot out like a laser cannon, blasting towards the silver streaks of light.

  "Boom boom boom!"

The golden beam collided with the silver streaks of light, unleashing a series of explosions in the air.

The flames illuminated the entire night sky, and the shockwaves swept out like a hurricane.

However, the silver streaks of light, their mechanical surfaces dimmed, were not destroyed. Instead, they dispersed in the explosions and continued to attack from different angles.

"Too many of them, too agile," the Dragon Girl gritted her teeth.

  Just then, Nirvana moved.

She leaped from the Dragon Girl's arms, somersaulted in the air, and landed on the Dragon Girl's shoulder. Her white hair fluttered, and her silver-white armor gleamed in the moonlight.

"The amplifier's cooldown is over," she said with a grin.

She waved her hands, and purple psychic energy surged out like a tide.

Suddenly, countless purple cartoon figures appeared in the air, wielding hammers, shields, springs, and ropes, all rushing towards the silver streaks of light.

  "Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Purple hammers smashed into the streaks, purple shields blocked them, and purple ropes entangled them.

In an instant, the air was like an amusement park, filled with various cartoon figures.

But the silver streaks of light were no pushovers; they nimbly dodged and counterattacked, shattering the cartoon figures one by one.

"Interesting." A hint of excitement flashed in Nie Die's eyes.

She waved her hand again, and even more cartoon figures appeared, surging towards the streaks of light like a tide.

Just as the two were locked in combat with the silver streaks of light, a large silver hand emerged from the crater created by the explosion on the ground.

Azure arcs of electricity rose from the crater, and a gigantic figure rose from it.

It was a silver mech, twelve or thirteen meters tall, with a W-shaped electronic eye on its head flashing red light.

The humanoid mech was entirely silver-white, irregularly covered with crimson crystals, and its armor surface flowed with azure energy patterns.

A blue energy core pulsated in its chest, radiating powerful energy fluctuations like a heart.

On its back were torpedo-shaped, bluish-gray metal units with scale-like heat dissipation textures, from which several foldable vector nozzles extended below and to the sides.

Mechanical force flowed, the nozzles emitted eerie blue flames, accompanied by a low hum.

This massive mech actually hovered in the air, flying towards the sky.

As the mech approached, the mechanical force surrounding these sub-blades intensified, increasing their speed and power, directly piercing through the cartoonish equipment.

Inside the mech's cockpit, Cao Dan twisted his neck, his body stretched to its original position, reaching over two meters tall, with sensors inserted into his body.

"That really hurts," Cao Dan muttered, his skin bruised and covered in cuts, all caused by the Dragon Girl's feather blades and Nirvana Butterfly's psychic attacks.

A needle connected to a catheter emerged and pierced Cao Dan's skin. The life support module activated, injecting [Rhine Active Drug Nanoparticles] into the body.

Purple and golden alien energy was expelled from the wound, and clusters of granulation tissue sprouted rapidly. In the blink of an eye, the wound was completely healed, revealing tender new flesh with a faint, warm current emanating from it.

"I wanted to have a real hand-to-hand fight with you, but you always force me,"

Cao Dan's black hair trembled slightly, and arcs of electricity flashed in his eyes.

This time, possessing a powerful physique and pure mechanical strength, Cao Dan operated this scale of mech with ease.

He raised his head, and the mech synchronized, its evil W-shaped electronic eyes following, looking at the Dragon Girl and Nirvana Butterfly in the air.

"Leave the box behind." As soon as he

finished speaking, the back of the mech suddenly unfolded, revealing a dense array of small-caliber missile launchers.

  "Missile barrage!"

  "Whoosh whoosh whoosh!"

Dozens of small missiles shot out from the launchers, trailing blue flames, flying towards the two in the air like a meteor shower.

"Damn it!" The Dragon Girl's expression changed.

She quickly flapped her wings to dodge, her golden wings drawing trajectories in the air.

Nie Die didn't dare to be careless either; purple psychic energy fluctuations formed a barrier in front of her.

  "Boom boom boom!"

The missiles exploded in the air, flames shooting into the sky, shockwaves sweeping out like tidal waves.

Cao Dan coldly watched the sky; they were now over a hundred meters above the ground. The flight module, transplanted from Rheinmetall's Blue Fish individual airborne device, was still not perfect; this distance was the limit.

These small-caliber missiles, transplanted onto the mechanical hippo, while increasing in power and range, were still insufficient to inflict significant damage on a dual-class user like the Dragon Girl. However, they were more than enough to harass and restrict her movement.

Cao Dan, with his exceptional combat awareness, keenly sensed from the previous battle that these individuals couldn't maintain a high level of combat intensity indefinitely.

After dozens, even hundreds, of missiles were fired, forcing the Dragon Girl to lower her altitude.

Cao Dan channeled his mechanical power into his mech, causing the blue tail flames of the module on his back to surge, propelling the mech to new heights at incredible speed.

In their field of vision, the distance between the two sides continued to close.

The silver mech extended its left hand, revealing a half-meter diameter opening in its palm.

  [Super-Large Air Compression Cannon]!!

This was the advantage of large mechs: ample loading space, allowing for the scaling up of any module.

A single super-large air compression cannon shot produced a sound no less deafening than thunder.

Pale golden blood flowed from the Dragon Girl's mouth and nose; her body stiffened, becoming uncontrollable, and she plummeted downwards with Nirvana Butterfly in tow.

However, this state only lasted for two seconds before the Dragon Girl's powerful physique allowed her to recover instantly.

  With a

flap of her wings, the Dragon Girl took to the air again. Thirty-three streams of light pressed down from all directions, but the Dragon Girl flapped her wings wildly, unleashing a dense barrage of golden feathers.

  "Clang clang clang..."

Taking advantage of this opportunity, the silver mech produced two holes at its feet, which also served as air compression cannons.

Two ring-shaped air waves erupted beneath its feet, and the mech used the recoil to perform a somersault.

As it flipped, two thin slits with a radius of twenty to thirty centimeters appeared on its wrists, and crimson sword light slashed towards the Dragon Girl.

  [Clustered Thermal Shear Lines]

The thermal shear lines of any single molecule converged into a bundle, transforming into two crimson swords.

The high-temperature crimson swords struck the golden wings, producing a piercing metallic clang.

  Sparks flew, illuminating their faces.

"Such powerful strength!" the Dragon Girl thought in shock.

Wearing the mech, Cao Dan's strength was many times greater than before.

Several deep marks appeared on her wings, almost severing them.

"Dragon Girl, be careful!" Nie Die warned from the side.

She waved her hands, and purple psychic energy waves formed countless purple chains, wrapping around Cao Dan.

  But Cao Dan only sneered.

Suddenly, a strong current burst from the surface of the mecha, blue arcs of electricity slithering like snakes.

  "Zzzzz!"

The purple chains were shattered the moment they touched the current.

"Psychic power is ineffective against mechas," Cao Dan mocked.

Nie Die's face darkened, realizing that this mecha was not a psychic mecha.

Her strongest ability was psychic power, but against a purely mechanical creation like a mecha, the effect of psychic power was greatly reduced.

"In that case, let's try this!"

She clasped her hands together, and purple arcs of electricity condensed in her hands, forming a huge purple mechanical energy sphere.

That energy sphere was like a small sun, radiating terrifying energy fluctuations.

  "Mechanical Force Cannon!"

She launched the mechanical force ball, blasting it towards Cao Dan like a cannonball.

  "Too slow."

Cao Dan easily dodged in his mech, the mechanical force ball flying past him and disappearing into the clouds.

He suddenly accelerated, rushing towards Nie Die.

Nie Die's expression changed drastically, and she hurriedly retreated.

But Cao Dan's speed was too fast, catching up with her in an instant.

His mechanical arm grabbed at Nie Die.

  A golden light flashed.

The Dragon Girl stood in front of Nie Die, blocking Cao Dan's attack with her wings.

  "Perfect timing." Cao Dan sneered.

He unleashed a flurry of sword strikes, the sword light like rain.

The Dragon Girl blocked with her wings, but gradually became overwhelmed.

More and more wounds appeared on her wings, and golden feathers fell one

after another. The purple-gold force field reappeared, and as the twin swords clashed, the high-temperature air waves turned the surrounding hundreds of meters into a sea of mist.

Within the white mist, flashes of red light and purple-gold light appeared from time to time.

"Come on, let me see your strength!" Cao Dan's voice boomed through the loudspeaker from inside the cockpit.

The towering mech charged towards the Dragon Girl, its crimson twin swords slashing out.

  "Boom!!!!"

White mist exploded, and a purple-gold figure plummeted from the sky, crashing directly into the ground, carving a path hundreds of meters long and kicking up tens of meters of mud and gravel.

Shattered stones fell to the ground, trailing wisps of white smoke.

The purple-gold force field receded like a tide towards the Dragon Girl's golden wings. The Dragon Girl looked down, holding Nie Die, and said, "Take the ingredients and go first. I won't be able to take care of you anymore."

Upon hearing this, Nie Die, still a pale purple, leaped dozens of meters away.

On the other hand, the Dragon Girl's golden wings flapped, and on her round, large chest, her wheat-colored skin rapidly hardened, growing two golden crystalline scales that now completely covered her chest.

  "Dragon Transformation!"

The golden horns on the Dragon Girl's head shone brightly as she shouted.

Just as she straightened up, a silver mech descended from the sky.

"Hmph! Dragon Transformation, huh!" Inside the cockpit, Cao Dan sneered, his limbs curling up.

The mecha transformed into a silver sphere, enveloped in azure mechanical power, and slammed towards the Dragon Girl.

"Let you taste the power of Earth Explosion Star."

The massive mecha pressed down on the golden wings, the Dragon Girl's white hair held high, her golden supernatural energy surging, the stalemate lasting only a moment.

  "Crack crack crack..."

The sound of countless bones breaking rang out...

Beneath the silver sphere, large amounts of golden blood flowed out.

Nie Die, who had already fled thousands of meters away, suddenly staggered, clutching her chest, "This is, Sister Dragon Girl..."

Their supernatural abilities were from the same source, and they spent every day together. Within a certain range, there was a special connection in their states; if one was seriously injured or died, the other would sense it.

Before Nie Die could hesitate, the sound of a heavy object slamming into the ground came from behind.

  "Boom boom boom..."

The silver mecha had already unfolded into human form, its two huge iron fists continuously hammering at the Dragon Girl beneath it.

"How is that possible? A mech that isn't a telekinetic mech is just a lump of iron. Why is it so strong in his hands?" Nie Die's purple eyes rippled as she turned away hesitantly.

A massive white aurora, trailing a dazzling tail of flame, descended from the horizon and crashed straight into the silver-white mecha.
