Chapter 30 - The One Who Beat His Little Shit of a Son is Called Lucas

Lucas wasn't a big-hearted person. When faced with provocation, he wouldn't just laugh it off.

He preferred to settle scores on the spot!

"A gentleman seeks revenge even after ten years"? That was for gentlemen. He'd rather be a petty man.

Live freely and live long.

With a restrained smile, Lucas slammed down on the accelerator. The Porsche Cayenne's speed began to climb.

The needle on the dashboard climbed higher.

Vroom!

Although the Cayenne was an SUV, its engine was a 4.8L twin-turbo.

Its explosive power was nothing to sneeze at.

In just over thirty seconds, Lucas had overtaken the fiery red Ferrari ahead.

He started to swerve, interfering with the Ferrari's lane.

Seeing this, the spiky-haired guy in the Ferrari's passenger seat wearing sunglasses cursed, "Damn it, what the hell is this idiot doing?"

"A crappy Cayenne dares to cut me off?"

In his eyes, a Cayenne was a low-end car.

Daring to cut him off?

Tired of living?

The young man driving frowned and said, "Enough. Seems this guy's got a temper too. Let's just ignore him."

He was somewhat sensible.

If the Cayenne driver ahead had road rage, he wouldn't care if you were in a Ferrari or not.

Someone who could drive a Cayenne could afford to pay for a Ferrari worth millions.

The spiky-haired guy took off his sunglasses, snarling, "And my temper isn't bad enough?"

"Force him to pull over once we get off the expressway ahead."

"I want to see who dares to mess with me!"

As rich second-generation heirs in the story, their lives were all about pleasure-seeking and stirring up trouble.

Very much like the chaebols from that country.

In reality, such rich second-generation heirs were rare. Even if they existed, they were mostly limited to the nouveau riche.

When real wealthy families educated their children, which one didn't train them to be superficially polite?

They might look down on you inwardly.

But they maintained appearances impeccably.

The long-haired youth driving hesitated, "That's... not a good idea."

This was asking for trouble.

He had some sense, but the spiky-haired guy beside him had none. "Scared, Lao Luo?"

===== =====

"Hurry up and overtake him!"

"It's my car. I'll take responsibility if anything happens."

The spiky-haired guy was furious at the Cayenne's behavior—driving ahead, then hitting the brakes intermittently.

It was an infuriating feeling.

For a late-night street racer like him, this was undoubtedly the most provocative behavior.

Hearing this, the Ferrari-driving youth stopped caring.

Since you're taking responsibility, I'll overtake.

With that, he began to accelerate.

The Ferrari 488 accelerated, and Lucas saw it clearly in his rearview mirror.

"Took the bait?"

"Perfect. Just the right time to vent some steam."

Saying this, Lucas began to slow down.

The Ferrari 488 behind quickly overtook him and started to cut him off.

Soon.

After exiting the city expressway and reaching a road with temporary parking, the Ferrari 488 slammed on its brakes, trying to force Lucas to stop.

Both cars came to a halt.

Two young men got out of the Ferrari.

Seeing this, the corner of Lucas's mouth lifted slightly. He unfastened his seatbelt, opened the door, and stepped out as well.

"Damn it, you little punk, you think you're so tough?!"

===== =====

Seeing Lucas get out of the car, the spiky-haired youth raised his voice and started yelling, "You know you're in deep shit, right?"

Both held baseball bats.

Thud!

Walking up to the Cayenne, the spiky-haired youth raised his bat and smashed down.

The Cayenne's hood dented under the blow.

Glancing at it, Lucas grinned, "Oh? Tell me, what kind of trouble am I in?"

He cracked his neck twice, a fighting spirit stirring within him.

The spiky-haired youth sneered arrogantly, "Who said you could cut me off? Let me tell you, me overtaking you was doing you a favor!"

He didn't care who Lucas was. His family had billions in assets anyway.

Enough to spend!

And enough to pay for damages!

Lucas looked at the spiky-haired youth. He wore a shirt, a chain around his neck with a pendant bearing the character "Hu."

"Could it be... such a coincidence?"

Lucas was amused. Could this be that rich second-generation heir from the original story, the one who provoked Ye Fan and was later silenced by Yang Tianhao?

Hu Wei.

A minor cannon-fodder character in the original. He had taken a liking to one of Yang Tianhao's women, and Ye Fan happened to be there.

A conflict ensued.

After getting beaten up by Ye Fan, Hu Wei tried to find people to deal with him.

==========

Later, he discovered that all the people he'd found were actually under Yang Tianhao's command.

So...

He was brought before Yang Tianhao and ended up being encased in cement and sunk into the Tian River.

Tsk, tsk.

Lucas chuckled inwardly, but his expression remained calm. He walked past the two and approached the Ferrari 488.

A red brick lay by the roadside. Lucas picked it up and hurled it at the Ferrari.

"That's right. Me smashing your car is also doing you a favor."

After smashing the hood, Lucas casually tossed the brick at the windshield.

Crack!

The windshield instantly shattered.

He had used all his strength. The windshield was smashed, leaving a gaping hole.

"Son of a bitch! What are you doing?! Stop!" Seeing his beloved car being vandalized, the spiky-haired youth Hu Wei's eyes nearly bulged out of his head. He grabbed his baseball bat and charged over.

"You dare smash my car?! I'll kill you!"

He had begged his old man for ages to buy this.

He'd only had it for a few days!

And now someone was smashing it right in front of him?

Both Hu Wei and his buddy Lao Luo rushed over simultaneously. They were thick as thieves.

Seeing this situation, even if they didn't want to fight, they had to now.

Facing their swinging baseball bats, Lucas sidestepped.

He dodged their strikes.

Then, a whip-like kick swept out, landing squarely on Hu Wei's waist.

"Ah!"

The sharp pain in his side sent Hu Wei stumbling forward, face-planting onto the concrete with a dog-eating-dirt motion.

His lips were immediately scraped bloody.

Lao Luo fared slightly better than Hu Wei, but his leg was swept by Lucas's kick, forcing him into a kneeling slide across the ground.

The skin on his knee was scraped raw.

Lucas walked up to the two, looking down at them from above.

Seeing Lucas approach, Hu Wei rolled onto his back on the ground, glaring viciously. "You dare hit me, you bastard!"

"I'm gonna make sure you die!"

He had never suffered such humiliation in his life.

Lucas scoffed at his threat, saying calmly, "Nouveau riche. Driving a crappy Ferrari 488 and you think you're somebody?"

With that, Lucas slapped him across the face.

Then he turned and left, leaving behind only one sentence.

"Go back and tell your dad: the guy who beat up his worthless son is named Lucas."
