Hyperspace Hole is a Psychic-type move. By utilizing hoops to create spatial tunnels, the user can suddenly appear at an opponent's flank to attack—a unique displacement-style Space-Time Ninjutsu.
The learning requirements were not particularly harsh; given sufficient spiritual energy (Telekinesis) and specific hand signs, one could create a localized dimensional wormhole.
However, a "Hoop" was necessary to stabilize the structure of the hyperspace hole itself. Could silver sand work?
At this thought, Shiraishi's silver sand began to coalesce in mid-air, forming the shape of a golden hoop.
His immense spiritual energy manifested as a blue radiance, enveloping his body as a small Regeneration Core within his brain began transmitting consciousness signals.
Massive amounts of calculations and deductive formulas were beamed to the giant computing device deep within Shiraishi's headquarters.
Combining the supercomputer's analysis, Shiraishi attempted to construct the perfect synergy between telekinetic compression and dimensional folding.
Powerful computing capacity was the bedrock of Shiraishi's mastery over his various techniques.
Since completing his Magnet Release, many of his sand-control arts were simulated by the computer first and then uploaded into his Regeneration Core as a "transmission mechanism," allowing him to perform complex Magnet Release attacks with lightning-fast hand signs.
Compressing a small hyperspace hole in mid-air... the deduction is successful, but the energy is extremely unstable. Is it because the silver sand hoop cannot contain this force?
The moment the tiny wormhole formed, the surrounding silver sand shattered. The hyperspace hole self-destructed, and the resulting explosive shockwave caused the surrounding space to ripple and distort.
Shiraishi stepped back quickly, but a portion of his sleeve was caught in the collapse and shredded. The eerie scene made him frown; the importance of the "Hoop" far exceeded his estimates. It appeared he needed to forge a specialized, stable ninja tool.
The small hyperspace hole gradually vanished into nothingness. The condensation had failed.
Without a specialized tool, the hyperspace hole could not be stabilized. The collapsing dimensional energy was too volatile; while it could warp and shred everything around it, it was just as likely to injure the user.
Furthermore, the "reverse-side" skill of Hyperspace Hole was Hyperspace Fury. The principle was the same, but the number of hoops increased from one to six, making the offensive patterns far more complex.
Shiraishi could barely simulate one unstable hole with silver sand; managing six was not just six times harder, but dozens of times more complex. The calculation requirements were simply beyond the reach of an ordinary ninja.
Aside from this new art, many of Shiraishi's current techniques—like Magnet Release in the desert or Origin Pulse on the ocean—demanded massive computational support. Strengthening his processing power remained his top priority.
With the value of Hyperspace Hole and Hyperspace Fury established, Shiraishi headed to his research facility to investigate materials for the hoops.
After recent expansions, Shiraishi's research lab was much larger than before, filled with professional equipment and guarded by several Human Puppets.
Located over a thousand meters beneath the surface was a massive computing array. In a plaza of several hundred square meters, a vast network of components worked in tandem with three Human Puppet clones to process data.
Shiraishi arrived to find a way to boost his own mental processing speed.
"Is this the new generation of Regeneration Core?"
Unlike the previous versions, which were pure combinations of chakra and consciousness, the new generation featured a miniature sensor capable of faster data transmission.
Shiraishi's Scarlet Control Mirror (his specialized glasses) had also been updated with components that synced perfectly with the underground array.
The essence of a Regeneration Core was a chakra-consciousness construct. When Human Puppets performed simulations, they consumed the chakra stored within the core.
By installing these sensors, Shiraishi could offload auxiliary calculations to the supercomputer, reducing waste.
Shiraishi took a fine needle and expertly inserted it into the back of his own neck, making a tiny incision in the capillaries.
Using his magnetic field control, he embedded a miniature sensor into his brain, linking it directly to his primary Regeneration Core.
If only I knew more about the state of the future timeline, I might find more useful clues.
Shiraishi's sliver of chakra was currently within the future Yamato's consciousness. Although he had successfully used genjutsu to subdue Yamato, communicating across time remained difficult.
When he had sealed the memories, he had funneled a portion of the Dragon Vein's power into a Triangular Sand Tower within Yamato's mind.
Based on the remaining energy, he could only transmit organized intelligence back to his original timeline once every month.
However, despite being in the future, this was Shiraishi's first "visit" to Konoha. While Yamato's physique was a "diluted" version of Wood Release, it still possessed the essence of the Forest.
This allowed Shiraishi to utilize Grass-type skills that his original body couldn't master, such as Leech Seed and Sleep Powder.
Leech Seed could be implanted into an opponent to drain their chakra and convert it into vitality for the user. Sleep Powder, as the name implied, was a potent sedative.
These skills required the fusion of Water, Earth, and Yang Release. Since Shiraishi already had plenty of offensive options, he had previously set these aside. Now, with Yamato's body as a vessel, he could use them perfectly.
Currently, the future Yamato's mental world was patrolled by the Moon-Wheel Bat to maintain the hypnosis, while the Triangular Sand Tower on his brain's sealing array hid the power of the Dragon Vein and the Azure Flame.
With these trump cards, plus the Grass-type support skills and Shiraishi's own swordsmanship, the originally Jonin-level Yamato now possessed the strength of an Elite Jonin.
Following Naruto, Sakura, and Sai, the disguised Yamato walked the path back to the village.
The Hidden Leaf Village finally came into view.
Wary of the Leaf's numerous and bizarre detection methods, Shiraishi switched the active personality back to the "Yamato" persona he had reconstructed, while his own consciousness retreated into an observant state.
Because Yamato was a trusted Jonin and a direct subordinate of the Hokage, they entered the village without much questioning and went straight to the Hokage's office.
The current Hokage was Tsunade. According to Yamato's memories, both the Third Hokage and the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, were dead. Furthermore, a mysterious organization called Akatsuki was hunting the Tailed Beasts.
Wait, Tsunade's figure...
"Yamato, what are you looking at?" Even decades later, Tsunade's grace remained, though certain areas had become significantly more... "rounded." She didn't suspect Yamato's thoughts, only that he seemed distracted.
Yamato, seemingly snapping out of a daze, acted embarrassed. "Ah, sorry. I just lost my train of thought for a moment."
"Geez, Captain Yamato! You're getting as unreliable as Kakashi-sensei," Naruto chimed in. "Grandma Tsunade, guess who I saw during the time travel?"
"Who?"
"The Fourth Hokage from the past!"
Evidently, when Shiraishi had sealed their memories, he had tinkered with them to ensure Naruto believed he had encountered a Leaf ninja rather than a Sand ninja.
Shiraishi knew it would be hard to hide that their memories had been tampered with, but framing it as the work of the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, was a perfect cover.
Coincidentally, Tsunade's records of the Roran ruins showed that the Third Hokage had indeed sent Minato's team there in history.
