Returning to their home in Queens, Wanda looked listless, the light in her eyes dim and unfocused.
Jack pulled her into his arms, offering her a steady shoulder to lean on.
"Wanda, even if you wanted to destroy the United States, I would help you," Jack said softly. "I will always stand by your side."
After that, Wanda fell into her own quiet reflection. Some things are meaningless when spoken aloud; they can only be resolved within oneself.
By evening, Jack's stomach began to protest, and Wanda's followed in agreement.
Facing Jack, Wanda smiled sincerely. "You've been hungry for a long time, haven't you? Let's go eat."
"You too," Jack replied. "Let's order some char siu. That place delivers, and it comes hot."
He gazed fondly at Wanda's fair, slightly chubby face as she smiled. "You look better when you smile. Not like Agent Hill—she looks cooler when she's being stern."
Wanda gently placed Jack's hand against her cheek. "Then which do you prefer?"
"If I hesitated for even a second, it would be blasphemy against you," Jack said without missing a beat. "Let's go back and order delivery."
Suddenly, Wanda became serious. "Jack… will you stand by my side for the rest of your life?"
Jack cupped her youthful little face. "Wanda, no matter what you want to do, I'll stand with you. Even if you want to destroy the United States."
Satisfied, Wanda hugged his head and asked one more question.
"What if I wanted to destroy the world?"
Jack answered firmly, without hesitation. "I'd still be by your side."
In the end, only Wanda was full. Jack didn't eat a single bite and ended up ordering another delivery.
After coaxing Peter Parker to sleep, May Parker heard noises from next door and quietly took a well-hidden finger-gun from a drawer.
"Honestly," she muttered, "they can't even stay quiet after eating delivery. Now I have to make a trip."
…
"Boss, a job just came in. Do you want to take it?"
Hearing May's voice over the phone, Jack was confused. "What job? You need help moving?"
May, excited about her first real commission, didn't notice Jack's tired tone. She sighed and facepalmed.
"Boss, this is the Xiao Hei Agency. You do remember you have an agency and an employee, right?"
Jack rubbed his nose awkwardly. "Of course I do. I was joking. Go on."
May continued, "Someone just came to ask whether we can protect someone while they leave the U.S. I had her write everything down in detail, just like you said."
Jack thought for a moment. "Give me her number. I'll contact her myself."
"Okay, Boss."
After hanging up, May blinked.
"Wait… if the boss contacts the client directly, what's the point of me writing all this down?"
Jack nudged the still-sleeping Wanda.
Mwah.
"Dear, I need to go. I'm checking a commission."
Wanda was half-asleep, only sensing something leave her embrace. She hummed softly.
"Mmh~ go ahead. I want to sleep more. My whole body feels like it's falling apart."
Mwah~ safe travels.
Jack reluctantly left his warm nest to go make some money.
"Hello? Are you the one who wants someone escorted out of the U.S.?"
A weak female voice replied, "Yes. Do you really have a way to get someone out?"
"Of course. But I need the location first. Different places mean different prices. And how many people?"
"One person. A man. He's in New York."
"Just leaving the U.S., or a specific destination?"
"Anywhere is fine. Just far away from the U.S."
Jack paused, then added, "Our agency doesn't accept commissions from criminals or immoral individuals. Otherwise, we enforce things ourselves."
"There's no problem," she said quickly. "He was framed. I'm his friend."
"Send me the address. I need to meet him first."
"Alright."
The location wasn't far, just secluded.
Jack knocked according to the pattern in the message—deep, shallow, deep, shallow.
The door opened, and the man inside scanned the hallway before pulling Jack inside.
"You're the one helping me leave the U.S., right? What do we do now?"
Jack ignored the question. "Are you Dr. Robert Bruce Banner?"
(The gentle Bruce Banner and the gym-rat Hulk are definitely not the same person—don't overthink it.)
Banner froze, then became alert. "You know who I am? Are you here to arrest me? I advise you not to. It'll be very dangerous."
Jack smiled calmly. "Relax. I'm here to help you leave. The one who contacted me is Betty Ross, right? Don't worry—I'm not with General Ross."
Jack extended his hand.
Banner hesitated, then shook it.
"System, check in."
[Check-in successful. Obtained transformation ability: Red Hulk]
Jack: Nice. Another powerful trump card.
"So this is what happens when you open an agency—the plot comes knocking," Jack said cheerfully. "Looks like Xiao Hei Agency can't close after all."
Banner frowned. "How did you find out my identity? This should be classified."
"Not that hard," Jack replied. "And don't worry—getting you out is easy."
Banner sat down nervously. "I need somewhere quiet. Cold. With as few people as possible."
Jack rubbed his chin. "I know a place."
"Where?"
Jack grinned. "177A Bleecker Street."
Banner hesitated. "Downtown Manhattan? That place is full of surveillance."
"I have a way."
Jack led Banner to the car trunk.
"You want me to hide in the car?"
Jack rummaged inside and pulled out prison clothes, a black hood, and handcuffs.
Banner changed without complaint.
Jack then put on an FBI vest and escorted his "prisoner" toward Bleecker Street.
Predictably, they couldn't find the address.
"Are you sure this place exists?" Banner complained. "We've circled the street three times."
Jack raised his hand. "I have a solution."
He pulled out a megaphone and began broadcasting:
"177A Bleecker Street! Beautiful Ancient One, your delivery has arrived! Please come sign for it!"
Slap!
"Ow!"
Banner saw a fair hand extend from a portal and smack Jack's face, leaving a red handprint.
Jack turned off the megaphone. "Looks like the Ancient One got annoyed. But don't worry—I still have a backup."
Later, at a suburban safe house, Jack dropped off supplies.
"I'll prepare a few things and then take you out of the country."
Banner asked nervously, "How exactly are we leaving?"
Jack didn't answer—he called Natasha Romanoff instead.
"Hey, dear. Busy? Found Tony Stark yet?"
Natasha laughed. "You really are cruel. You know I haven't. Are you calling just to mock me?"
Jack smiled. "If you'd found him, you'd already be back. I miss you. Wanda says your name every night."
"Doesn't she enjoy monopolizing you?" Natasha teased. "Just get to the point—I'm being dragged into another mission."
"Help me prepare a clean identity," Jack said, glancing at Banner. "Big-headed, honest guy. Face doesn't matter—I've got a new toy."
"No problem. I'll handle it."
"Thanks, babe."
Jack hung up.
"If it weren't for this mask," Jack said, "you'd be sleeping in a suitcase tonight."
Banner decided not to ask how Jack kidnapped Tony Stark from Afghanistan.
Jack produced a thin mask. "Disguiser's Mask. It copies whatever face you're looking at. Locks for 24 hours."
Banner tested it, watching his reflection morph.
"Perfect. Just say you got fat from American junk food."
The next day, Banner passed security without issue.
On the plane, Jack and Wanda acted inseparably sweet.
No private cabin this time—only first class.
During a layover in Turkey, Jack even completed another check-in.
