Chapter 50: Why Are You Acting Like It's a Life-or-Death Scene?

"Bastard!"

Ren's words echoed over the vast sea, and for a moment, the entire deck fell silent.

Suddenly, Lyon stood up, his eyes sharp as he glared at Ren.

With a dark face, he assumed a fighting stance without another word.

"I know I'm not your match, but for Ur, I'm willing to give my life. Don't underestimate me!"

Cold air rose from Lyon's body, and an ice-blue magic circle condensed beneath his feet.

In the next moment, an ice-blue bird formed beside him.

Lyon's face was like black iron, his eyes filled with rage as he stared straight at Ren.

The moment Lyon moved, Erza immediately stood up, a long sword instantly appearing in her hand.

With the sword tip pointing at Lyon, she looked at him calmly and said, "I advise you to calm down!"

"How can I calm down?!"

Hearing Erza's words, rage surfaced on Lyon's face as he roared at everyone.

In this tense moment, Lucy stood silently behind Erza.

No matter what, they were all members of Fairy Tail.

At this time, Lyon turned his gaze to Gray, who had been silent with his head down and hadn't spoken a word.

"Gray, you should say something too! Ur took you in, taught you magic unconditionally, and saved you!"

With a hideous expression on his face, Lyon roared at Gray.

Gray slowly stood up, glanced at the furious Lyon, then turned his gaze to the silent Ur and Ren beside them.

"Ur, is what Ren said true?"

There was hope in Gray's eyes, hoping to hear a denial from Ur.

After a moment of silence, Ur lifted her ice-blue face, looking at Gray and the furious Lyon with a complicated expression.

Nodding, Ur said calmly, "Yes, my life belongs to Master."

As Ur's voice fell, the entire deck instantly went quiet.

Lyon slid to his knees in disbelief, staring blankly at Ur's figure.

Gray felt equally terrible. Two lines of tears flowed down his face as he lowered his head, his whole body trembling constantly.

As a mother figure to the two, seeing them like this made Ur's chest ache, even though she had lost her heart.

"Gray, Lyon, don't be sad for me. I did this willingly."

With a smile on her face, Ur walked up to the two and pulled them into her embrace.

In Ur's arms, Gray and Lyon instantly burst into tears, like children seeking comfort in their mother's arms after being wronged.

Erza sheathed her sword, looking at the calm Ren and then at the three hugging each other nearby.

With a somewhat complicated expression, she walked up to Ren, about to say something.

Ren glanced at the complicated-looking Erza and said, "I really don't understand why you're all acting like this is a life-or-death parting. Although Ur is a Homie created by me, she still possesses memories and life."

"I didn't say I would wipe Ur's memories. Why act like you'll never see her again?"

As Ren's words fell, Gray and his senior brother, who were wailing, instantly looked up, staring blankly at Ren.

"Especially you, Gray."

"We are both Fairy Tail mages. You and Ur will see each other all the time. Why are you being so melodramatic?"

Ren scolded Gray, waking him up.

Suddenly realizing the truth, Gray reacted.

Ren was a Fairy Tail mage, and so was he.

Since Ur was Ren's Homie, wouldn't she also be a Fairy Tail mage?

Realizing this, Gray stood up excitedly, rushing to Ren and giving him a big hug.

"Get off, get off."

Gray hugged Ren tightly, instantly giving Ren chills.

Pushing Gray aside, Ren patted his clothes with disgust.

Gray didn't care at all, grinning at Ur nearby.

Lyon was silent for a moment, looking at Ur, then at Ren and the others.

Gritting his teeth, Lyon glared at Ren and said, "I want to join Fairy Tail too!"

"Then you have to ask my Guild Master. Asking me is useless."

Ren shrugged, not explicitly rejecting Lyon.

Just like that, the boat soon docked, and everyone embarked on the journey back to Magnolia.

Because Lyon decided to join Fairy Tail, his companions, after careful consideration, decided to follow him.

Amidst Natsu's protests, everyone boarded the train.

Before long, they returned to Magnolia.

Just walking out of the station, Lucy fell silent.

She was somewhat afraid of how Makarov would punish her when she returned to the guild.

She looked at Erza beside her with pleading eyes, but Erza ignored her.

Lucy lowered her head helplessly, following behind everyone.

Back at the guild, seeing the group return, the entire guild fell silent.

After Ren and Erza left to chase Natsu and the others, the news of Natsu stealing an S-Class request had spread throughout the guild.

Everyone looked at Natsu and Lucy with complicated expressions.

Directly in front, Makarov stood with his arms crossed, looking at the returning Natsu and Lucy with a livid face.

"You three idiots!"

After a long silence, Makarov suddenly leaped up.

He smashed a heavy fist onto Natsu's head.

"Do you think S-Class requests are that simple?!"

Makarov scolded the three loudly. Natsu, Happy, and Lucy all lowered their heads obediently, standing aside to listen to Makarov's reprimand.

Puffing out a breath of frustration, Makarov looked helplessly at the two people and one cat in front of him.

Beside Makarov, Mirajane suddenly stepped forward, her gentle face devoid of any smile.

She walked slowly up to Natsu.

Suddenly, she reached out and slapped Natsu across the face.

The crisp sound echoed in the guild, and everyone stared at this scene, dumbfounded.

That gentle Mirajane actually hit someone.

After Mirajane's personality changed drastically, everyone seemed to have forgotten what kind of person she used to be.

The little delinquent, the hot-tempered Mirajane seemed to have been replaced by this gentle Mirajane.

Now, Mirajane's face was livid as she stood straight in front of Natsu.

Slapped by Mirajane, Natsu was instantly stunned.
