Chapter 48: It Will Destroy This World!
"Lyon, ...what is going on?"

Standing in the center of the village, Ren frowned, looking at the distant purple membrane in the sky, feeling somewhat grave.

After Erza returned to the ground, she shook her head helplessly.
"I'll try."

Bathed in the silvery moonlight, the villagers closed their eyes, waiting for the curse to be broken.
Suddenly, extending his hands, the village chief bathed in moonlight opened his eyes.
His figure hadn't recovered at all, but a different gleam appeared in his eyes.
His clansmen also gradually opened their eyes, looking at each other in silence.
Ren returned to the ground, appearing in front of Erza and the others.

The villagers on this island weren't humans at all but a demon-like race.
They could switch between human and demon forms.
However, affected by the Moon Drip, they forgot their identity and their ability.
Seeing their demon faces, they thought the island was cursed.
