12 Temari Explodes!!!
"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?" Temari exclaimed, her frustration boiling over.
"Lady Hokage, if I may say so honestly, Naruto not only defeated the so-called Hyuuga prodigy in the Chunin Exams, but he also fought and defeated my brother when the attack was spreading. When he performs a boss-level summoning and casts a transformation jutsu on the summoning itself, plus improves Gaara's vision—"
"I need somebody to explain to me why he is not qualified for a promotion, but this lazy ass is!" Temari's face flushed red with anger.
"Wait a minute, Naruto wasn't the one who defeated Gaara; it was Sasuke-kun who saved me," Sakura interjected, a hint of defensiveness in her voice.
"I know what I saw, Haruno. Are you saying that I cannot see?" Temari shot back, glaring at her.
"Leave it, Temari. She'll always accept that Sasuke defeated Gaara in her delusional mind," Naruto said with a bored expression.
"It's always Sasuke to her."
"No need to waste your energy on her, Temari, because if Tsunade Senju—the strongest kunoichi of this era—cannot remove that delusion from her mind, nobody can," he added with a smirk.
Naruto then turned his attention back to Tsunade. "So, how about my idea? If I defeat all of them, I get the promotion I clearly deserve, just as our beautiful desert princess explained my accomplishments," he said, gesturing toward Temari.
Temari blushed at being called the beautiful desert princess.
"Are you sure about that, Naruto? Do you think you can defeat all of them on your own? You're not the only one who has been training for the past three years," Tsunade replied, her voice weighed down by concern.
"Come on, Auntie Tsunade, you've seen my report. We all know that no matter how much the weaklings train, they'll never be able to defeat the strong," Naruto shot back with a teasing grin.
Sakura's temper flared. "Who are you calling weaklings, idiot?"
"I didn't name anyone, Sakura. But if you're getting angry, it means you know you're weak," Naruto replied, keeping his bored expression.
"Alright, enough!" Tsunade interjected. "Sakura, control your anger. And Naruto, don't be so overconfident."
"As I asked before, Naruto, are you sure?" she said, glaring at him to ensure he understood the seriousness of the situation.
Naruto nodded confidently. "I'm sure, Hokage-sama."
Then Tsunade side-eyed Jiraiya, seeking his input.
When he gave her a subtle nod, she closed her eyes and sighed heavily.
"Alright," she said, then opened her eyes to look at Naruto. "Fine. We will do it your way. Tomorrow at 7:00 a.m., you will have your reevaluation match against Team 10, Team 8, Team Guy, and Sakura. I'll be there with the Jonin senseis to observe your performance."
"Does that work for you?" she asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine with that," Naruto replied. He then turned toward Temari and asked, "I'm going to grab something to eat. Want to join me, Temari?"
Temari, caught off guard by the sudden invitation, hesitated for a moment before giving a small smile.
"Sure, Naruto. I would love to join!"
With that, the two of them left to find something to eat.
