Chapter 121 - Chapter 121: Wing Chun Saitama! A Fully Upgraded Genos!

Chu Yang never expected that after fighting one match, he'd end up with two disciples in their eighties.

His seniority instantly skyrocketed!

From now on, when he ran into Garou, he could greet him warmly:

"Good grandson, hurry up and call me Grandpa!"

Just thinking about it was exhilarating.

And then there was Charanko in the hospital—if he ever found out about this, he'd probably never want to leave his hospital room for the rest of his life.

By evening.

Sonic returned to the House of Evolution carrying the corpse of a Demon-level monster.

Then—out of nowhere—two white-haired old men appeared.

"Senior Brother!"

…What the hell?!

What just happened?

Sonic stared at them in horror.

Where the hell did I get junior brothers this old?!

Wait!

One of the old men looked kind of familiar?

"Aren't you… Silver Fang?"

"Just call me Bang, Senior Brother."

Sonic immediately waved his hands. "Don't call me that! I'm the only disciple Master has! Call me that again and I'll flip out!"

No joke!

Master's disciple can only be me. If you're trying to scam your way in, I'll burn you alive with Fire Release!

After that, Genos arrived and explained the whole situation from beginning to end, sincerely congratulating Sonic on gaining two junior brothers.

…What?!

It's actually real?!

Sonic—

look at the good deed you've done!!

Isn't this literally letting wolves into the house?!

The moment Sonic realized he was the one who brought Bang to the House of Evolution, his heart started hurting so badly he could barely breathe.

He'd personally nurtured an enemy!!

One Mosquito Girl had already given him a massive headache—and now there were two brothers with S-Class Hero–level strength?!

"All my future achievements are going to be stolen by them!"

"That means fewer and fewer chances for me to shine in front of Master!"

Sonic's face filled with despair.

The next second—

his eyes turned vicious.

"If it really comes to it… I'll just kill them all…"

Sonic licked his lips, an alarming thought forming in his mind.

"Senior Brother, who are you planning to kill? If it's monsters, we can help you."

Bang had somehow appeared beside Sonic, looking at him with the affectionate gaze of a grandfather.

"I saw you bring back a monster corpse earlier. Was that a task Master assigned you?"

"If it's too troublesome, the two of us can help. We're old anyway—nothing much to do."

Bomb looked at Sonic with the same kindly expression.

Sonic was furious!

Don't push it too far!

You just arrived and you're already trying to steal my work?!

As expected—my earlier thought was right.

Danger should be strangled in the cradle!

They must be eliminated!

Seeing Sonic's expression shift wildly like he'd been possessed, Bang and Bomb grew puzzled.

Senior Brother doesn't seem… very bright?

Should they help Master recruit more disciples, just in case the inheritance got lost…?

The two of them suddenly felt the burden on their shoulders grow heavier.

After dinner, Bang and Bomb left. They still needed to deal with Garou and couldn't stay at the House of Evolution for long.

Watching them leave, Sonic finally let out a breath of relief—his position was safe for now.

"Sonic, there's a martial arts tournament coming up. Go check it out in person."

Hearing that, Sonic instantly became alert.

"Master… are you planning to take more disciples?"

Chu Yang rolled his eyes. "Take my ass. There'll be monsters causing trouble at the venue—I'm sending you to collect materials."

Sonic beamed with joy. As long as it didn't involve randomly gaining more junior brothers, everything was fine.

"There's something very important you must bring back," Chu Yang said.

He described the appearance of Monster Cells in detail, repeatedly emphasizing that Sonic must retrieve them.

Sonic nodded solemnly, not daring to slack off at all.

"A martial arts tournament? I want to go too!" Saitama said excitedly.

"Charanko even gave me a ticket. Perfect chance to try the boxing you taught me."

"When did he give you the ticket?" Chu Yang asked.

"At the hospital. He also said you were a fraud," Saitama replied.

"Who the hell dares insult my master?! Which hospital?!"

Sonic exploded with rage, killing intent bursting from his eyes.

"Bang's disciple. Your martial nephew," Chu Yang said calmly.

Sonic silently sat back down—already planning how to wipe out their entire family.

"Whoever wants to go is fine. Just remember to bring the item back for me."

Chu Yang stood up and returned downstairs to the laboratory.

Genos hesitated for a moment… then followed Chu Yang.

Sonic's eyes widened.

You thick-browed bastard—you're betraying me too?!

He hurriedly chased after them.

The room was left with only Saitama and King, fully absorbed in gaming.

"Senior Yang… Dr. Kuseno is willing to meet you."

Walking behind Chu Yang, Genos suddenly spoke.

"Oh?" Chu Yang turned with interest. "Changed your mind all of a sudden?"

Genos was silent for a moment, then said firmly,

"I need a stronger body. Dr. Kuseno saw the footage I sent him—he said the mechanical units in your factory possess extremely powerful abilities."

"That's a completely different mech technology. It can make up for my current weaknesses."

Chu Yang nodded with a smile. "Good that you realized that. Then when can Dr. Kuseno meet me?"

Genos hesitated, then said awkwardly,

"He only agreed to an online meeting. He has security concerns."

"Understandable. It's just technical exchange anyway—online or offline makes no difference."

Chu Yang agreed readily.

After chatting a while longer, Genos left. Sonic then emerged from the shadows.

"Master… do we really need to exchange technology with anyone?"

Sonic was confused—Genos's performance was far inferior to the latest Iron Man armor.

"Sonic, arrogance is a terrifying emotion. Never let it control you," Chu Yang said sternly.

"Who told you we don't need other people's knowledge and technology?"

Chu Yang was genuinely displeased.

Everything he'd achieved came from learning skills and knowledge across different worlds.

No one understood better than him the importance of absorbing others' strengths.

Seeing that Chu Yang was truly angry, Sonic was so scared he didn't dare say another word, his face full of panic.

"Remember to do what I told you."

After comforting him a bit, Chu Yang entered the laboratory.

Late at night.

Chu Yang met with Dr. Kuseno online. Together with Genus, the three of them discussed mechanical life at length.

At the end of the conversation, Chu Yang showed him the artificial intelligence JARVIS.

Even through the screen, Dr. Kuseno couldn't hide his shock.

The meeting was extremely cordial, and both sides gained significant inspiration.

By the time dawn approached—

Chu Yang summoned Genos and performed temporary modifications, upgrading part of his weapons and equipment.

The main focus was improving defense and mobility.

Genos's body was too fragile. He often couldn't withstand even Demon-level monster attacks—this was not how a proper mechanical lifeform should be.

"Martial arts tournament martial arts tournament"

Saitama hummed cheerfully, wearing a wig as he entered the backstage area of the venue. Sonic was with him.

Sonic looked impatient. He didn't want to squeeze into the audience, so he followed Saitama backstage instead.

Any staff member who made eye contact with him would instantly fall under Sharingan genjutsu, unconsciously ignoring his existence.

Saitama felt a bit envious.

In the lounge, they ran into one of Charanko's former senior brothers.

After the Garou incident, Bang had expelled all his disciples—including this man.

Senior Brother Kucho.

He rambled endlessly about previous tournaments.

Bang and Garou had both been champions in the past.

In the last tournament, Garou had worn a wolf-head mask and impersonated someone else—no one recognized him, and the competition descended into chaos.

That incident led to strict real-name registration and a ban on wigs.

"If you're discovered, you'll face massive fines—or even prison!"

Senior Brother Kucho shouted loudly, making Saitama visibly nervous. His toes were practically digging a three-bedroom apartment into the floor.

Not long after, Kucho left.

Saitama finally relaxed, his gaze turning serious.

"I don't think you'll lose," Sonic said coldly,

"but if you do, the one who'll lose face is my master."

"Don't worry!"

Saitama said confidently, pressing down on his wig.

The tournament began.

The host introduced the contestants one by one.

Senior Brother Kucho, founder of Kucho Style.

A-Class Rank 19 hero Lightning Max—the one who showed off his speed in front of the Deep Sea King and got instantly taken out.

The cute young girl Bell Bell, user of Palm Bell Fist.

A-Class bottom-ranked hero Sneak—also someone who had been beaten badly by the Deep Sea King.

The rest were complete chaos—eccentric contestants with increasingly outrageous titles.

The host rushed through them quickly.

Soon, it was Saitama's turn.

"In the questionnaire, this man clearly wrote 'Don't hit the head'—which makes one wonder… is he really here to fight?"

"Wing Chun practitioner—Charanko!"

In the crowd, Genos stood up and applauded enthusiastically, offering heartfelt support to his respected teacher.

Watching this from the staff corridor, Sonic's mouth twitched.

"Doesn't this guy still have a mission? For the sake of watching a match, his task efficiency is terrifying."

Finally, the host solemnly introduced the two former champions.

Bakuzan!

Suiryu!

After the introductions, the contestants exited one by one, and the matches were about to begin.

At the same time—

Large numbers of monsters began appearing across major cities.

As if prearranged, they started destroying buildings and creating chaos.

In City S, a Dragon-level monster—Elder Centipede—appeared.

S-Class heroes Metal Bat and Metal Knight engaged it in battle, but soon lost contact.

Hero Association Headquarters — Combat Command Center

Everyone was running themselves ragged. With the number of disasters skyrocketing, the heroes they could actually contact were nowhere near enough to deal with the flood of monsters.

Most cities were already in a state of paralysis.

The number of heroes being knocked down by monsters kept climbing.

For a moment, it even looked like a full-scale collapse was underway.

Meanwhile, the matches inside the arena continued.

Before anyone realized it, it was already Saitama's turn.

His opponent was a man named Zax.

Before the match, Zax had mocked and sneered at Saitama in the passageway.

Saitama ignored him, planning to settle things with his fists in the ring.

He would use the Wing Chun he had just learned to teach him a lesson.

The match began.

Saitama had just assumed his Wing Chun stance—

When Zax suddenly rushed in front of him.

Saitama instinctively raised his hand and slapped him.

Smack.

Zax flew backward and collapsed on the ground, his eyes rolling back as he lost consciousness.

Originally, Zax had planned to propose to his girlfriend after winning this match.

The death flag was fully raised.

Saitama stared blankly at the unconscious Zax.

The entire venue fell into a deathly silence.

"No… this isn't right… I didn't even throw a punch. Why are you down already?"

"This won't do! My Wing Chun hasn't even been shown yet… get up!"

Saitama completely lost it.

This wasn't how the script was supposed to go!

Chu Yang had said that the joy of a duel between experts lay in the back-and-forth exchange of techniques!

Damn it!

Get up and exchange moves with me!

Medical staff rushed onto the stage and carried away Zax, who had suffered a concussion. Saitama followed them off the stage, utterly lifeless.

Genos, seated among the audience, felt worried.

In his view, Sensei was simply too strong—he probably couldn't experience the joy of martial arts at all.

Soon after, Genos lowered his head to look at his communicator.

It was flooded with emergency support requests. Monsters had begun appearing one after another near the competition venue.

"They can't be allowed to disrupt Sensei's match!"

After careful consideration, Genos decided to eliminate the nearby monsters.

Leaving the venue, Genos followed the command center's directions and swiftly dealt with four monsters before heading straight for the last one.

When he arrived, he saw many heroes lying on the ground, barely breathing.

Genos walked over and helped up the only hero who was still conscious, speaking softly:

"Medical units."

The shoulder sections of his mechanical arms rose, releasing swarms of tiny mechanical units resembling fireflies.

These small machines—codenamed Medical Units—quickly landed on the injured heroes, treating their wounds. Before long, their breathing stabilized.

"Be careful of that monster… don't let it leave your sight," the injured hero warned Genos.

The moment he finished speaking—

A cockroach-like monster appeared behind Genos.

The monster seemed extremely confident and didn't immediately launch a sneak attack.

Recalling the warning, Genos murmured, "Recon units."

Another swarm of nearly invisible micro-machines flew out from his back, silently spreading throughout the area without the cockroach monster noticing.

With preparations complete, Genos raised his arm and fired a blast.

As expected, the cockroach monster dodged it.

"Fast indeed. And its movement path is extremely erratic."

Genos's retina had already calculated the monster's movement speed.

This was part of the combat system Chu Yang had installed for him—far more precise than the one Dr. Kuseno had previously designed.

Its most basic function was to automatically adjust Genos's mobility based on the enemy's mobility.

Allowing him to keep up with most opponents.

Extreme speed combined with irregular movement made the cockroach monster nearly impossible to track.

In the past, Genos's visual system wouldn't have been able to follow it either.

But now—

The surrounding Recon Units had synchronized the monster's movements with Genos's visual system and successfully predicted its path for the next three seconds.

Three seconds was more than enough!

Genos went all out. His incineration cannons preemptively blanketed the area where the monster was about to land.

Amid a series of violent explosions, the cockroach monster was reduced to ashes.

Genos stood there, momentarily dazed.

"Senior Yang's modification technology… is truly terrifying!"

House of Evolution

On the massive central screen in the laboratory, nearby cities were shown being attacked by monsters.

"Master, should we deploy the legion to assist the other heroes in defending the cities?"

Dr. Genus asked hesitantly.

He wasn't sure what Chu Yang was thinking now, given that the Hero Association had repeatedly shown hostility toward them.

The Bang incident was just one example.

"Has the Hero Association asked us for help?" Chu Yang asked.

"No requests received so far."

"Heh. A bunch of arrogant fools."

"Then… should we act, sir? Or wait for now?"

"Of course we act. This is a perfect chance to steal business!"

Chu Yang grinned wickedly.

"Since we're bound to fall out with them anyway, we might as well strike first and make the House of Evolution famous."

"The Hero Association isn't an official organization. Anything they can do—we can do too."

"They're short on manpower. We have manpower to spare!"

Boros's interstellar battleship had only been dismantled halfway, yet it had already supplied Chu Yang with nearly a thousand high-performance mechs.

Under AI control, they were more than enough to cover several nearby cities.

If Chu Yang wanted, he could put a large number of low-ranking heroes out of work right now.

"Deploy five hundred Mark Alpha units first. Maintain numerical superiority during combat."

"The rest will depend on the situation. Remember—only target monsters below Dragon level."

"Dragon-level monsters will be handled by Mia."

Receiving the order, Dr. Genus input the commands at the console.

The next second—

The factory's ceiling opened.

Streams of brilliant light shot into the sky, leaving countless white trails behind.

City C — Competition Venue

Saitama had just come back from the restroom when his next match was about to begin.

"Be careful. Your opponent this time is Bakuzan, a former champion. He's not on the same level as Zax."

"He never shows mercy to the weak. If you can't win, surrender quickly—don't die on the stage!"

Senior Brother Kucho earnestly warned Saitama before he stepped up.

Saitama nodded.

It wasn't just Kucho—when Bakuzan appeared, the audience immediately erupted into discussion.

The general opinion of him was extremely negative.

Standing on the stage, Saitama wore a bright, cheerful smile.

A former champion… he must be strong, right?

Then I can finally enjoy the joy of exchanging techniques!

Bakuzan found Saitama extremely irritating.

"Kid, what are you smiling about?"

"I think you're probably really strong. That way I'll have more chances to make moves."

"Make moves? You're dreaming. You won't even get a single move out."

Bakuzan wore a rampant grin as he walked straight up to Saitama, gesturing over his body.

"I'll break your legs first. Once you take my Ghost Cry Low Kick, your bones will shatter—you'll never stand again."

"Then your torso. My Bear Hunter Mid Kick, followed by the Asura Straight Punch—your arms will be pulverized, and your internal organs will explode inside your body."

Saitama lowered his head, looking at Bakuzan's fist pressing against his stomach, when something suddenly came to mind.

"Oh! Right—there's a starting form!"

Saitama squatted into a horse stance, leaning forward slightly, and extended his fist exactly as Chu Yang had taught him.

It was just a fixed movement.

But Bakuzan happened to be standing right in front of him.

The fist collided with Bakuzan.

And he went flying.

"Wait!"

"That's not what I meant!"

"Hey!"

Saitama collapsed again, staring blankly at his fist.

He just wanted to complete a full set of techniques—why was it so hard?

"Joining this tournament isn't even as fun as taking lessons from Yang…"

Disheartened, Saitama started thinking about going home.

Waiting in the passageway for his turn, Suiryu looked at Saitama walking toward him and said in surprise,

"You won your match. Why do you look unhappy? I was hoping to exchange moves with you."

Saitama scratched his head. "It was interesting at first, but it got more and more boring."

Suiryu smiled. "That's because you haven't met me yet."

Saitama was about to reply when Sonic suddenly walked over and cut in.

"Why haven't any monsters shown up after all this time? I was about to fall asleep in the lounge!"

Sonic sighed.

"Monsters? I think Genos went out to deal with them. I didn't see him just now," Saitama said.

Sonic was startled. "Why didn't I get any notification?!"

Saitama scratched his head. "Maybe they just didn't inform you."

Sonic's face instantly turned livid.

"Those damn bastards! That was a mission Master gave me!"

With that, he vanished right in front of Saitama and Suiryu.

Suiryu was shocked. He rubbed his eyes and looked around, unable to believe a living person had disappeared right before him.

"Stop looking. He's already outside," Saitama said, patting his shoulder before turning to leave.

Elsewhere.

Genos, on his way back after defeating the cockroach monster, suddenly detected a high-energy reaction rapidly approaching.

Before he could react, the combat system automatically deployed an energy force field for defense.

A massive fist—nearly the size of an adult human body—smashed down onto the force field.

The ground beneath Genos sank violently.

"Dragon-level monster?"

Standing in front of Genos was a gigantic monster clad in a martial arts uniform, towering at roughly nine meters tall.

Four vertical pupils grew on its forehead, its hair standing on end like steel needles.

"Oh? You actually blocked it?"

The monster looked at Genos in surprise, brimming with confidence in its own strength.

That earlier blow should have been more than enough to obliterate the mechanical lifeform in front of it.

Only after carefully observing did the monster notice the faint blue barrier shimmering around Genos.

"My name is Gouketsu. You're interesting. I'm taking you back to the Monster Association as part of my collection!"

Once the champion of the very first martial arts tournament, Gouketsu had chosen to devour a Monster Cell in pursuit of even greater power, willingly becoming a monster.

Genos didn't respond. He was staring blankly at the data scrolling across his retina.

The combat system calculated that Gouketsu's speed was more than ten times that of the cockroach monster from before. Even with Recon Units deployed all around, Genos's visual system still couldn't capture his movements.

If not for Chu Yang's temporary modifications, that single punch earlier would have completely destroyed his body.

"Scared stiff already?"

Gouketsu narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing Genos. Seeing how easily frightened he seemed, Gouketsu lost interest in keeping him as a collectible.

"Forget it. I'll just destroy you here."

Gouketsu suddenly threw a punch. The terrifying shockwave whipped up a violent gale that tore toward Genos, cracks instantly spreading across the ground from the force alone.

Genos clasped his hands together. Numerous cannon ports unfolded along his arms as he unleashed a full-power Incineration Cannon.

The two forces slammed into each other head-on.

Dust and smoke filled the air.

Gouketsu's silhouette burst through the smoke at lightning speed, appearing right in front of Genos.

"Crap!"

Genos had underestimated him. It was already too late to dodge. He could only raise his arms and place his hopes on the combat system's automatic defense.

The energy force field reappeared.

This time, however, Gouketsu was prepared. His fists struck like a hurricane, concentrating all their power at a single point and smashing straight through the force field.

"The same trick won't work twice!"

Gouketsu laughed viciously.

If Chu Yang were here, he'd definitely complain that the guy was copying a Saint Seiya villain.

As the force field shattered under brute force, mysterious runes suddenly lit up across Genos's chest. Just before Gouketsu's punch landed, Genos's body vanished.

This was magic from Asgard—a one-time technique derived from the Destroyer.

Once used, without magical recharging, it would be nothing more than a meaningless symbol.

Thanks to it, Genos narrowly escaped death.

But he knew—he couldn't handle this monster.

Too strong.

Because the modifications were only temporary, Genos hadn't been equipped with heavier weaponry. Most of the upgrades focused on defense and functionality.

"Only Sensei can deal with this thing…"

"Should I go ask Sensei for help?"

"But Sensei is still competing in the tournament…"

Genos hesitated. He knew he was outmatched, yet he couldn't bring himself to retreat.

"You still have the leisure to space out?"

Gouketsu's eyes darkened. He'd already wasted too much time on this mechanical brat—he couldn't afford to delay any longer.

He raised his fist and slammed it into the ground.

The earth beneath them split open instantly, violent tremors rippling outward like a magnitude-nine earthquake!

Genos lost his footing and fell backward.

Gouketsu seized the opportunity, charging forward and grabbing Genos in a crushing embrace. He tightened his arms—creak, creak—metal grinding violently.

The sound of compressed steel rang out.

"Die! Cyborg!"

Gouketsu felt exhilarated. This sense of destruction was the most addictive thing he'd experienced since becoming a monster.

Despair flickered in Genos's eyes.

He'd used almost everything he had…

"What an idiot—if you can't win, then run! Standing there and letting yourself get beaten, what kind of stupidity is that?!"

Sonic's dissatisfied voice suddenly rang out beside Genos.

A flash of steel.

Gouketsu's arms were severed cleanly at the wrists.

Genos broke free and immediately retreated, widening the distance.

"So fast—I couldn't even see the movement!"

Gouketsu glanced at his bare stumps, then scanned his surroundings, searching for the culprit.

"Big guy, I'm right here!"

Gouketsu looked up and saw Sonic standing atop a building.

Sonic leapt down from above, blade in hand.

"You think cutting off my arms did anything, idiot?"

Gouketsu sneered as his arms regenerated in the blink of an eye, punching toward the descending Sonic.

"Watch out!"

Genos cried out.

"You're the idiot!"

The instant the punch landed—

Poof.

The Sonic that was struck exploded into a cloud of white smoke.

Gouketsu froze in surprise.

In the next moment, several flashes of blade light struck in rapid succession—legs, knees, abdomen, chest—every vital point.

Each strike landed cleanly. Gouketsu had no time to react.

Sonic emerged from the shadows among the ruins. The one that had been hit earlier was nothing more than a Shadow Clone.

Covered in blood, Gouketsu roared in fury and charged at Sonic.

"After becoming a monster, all you know is brute force?"

"No brains at all!"

"What a disappointment!"

A kunai suddenly appeared in Sonic's hand, its tail bound with fine silver wire. With a sharp pull, countless silver threads snapped tight around Gouketsu, weaving into a dense net.

As the net contracted, the razor-sharp wires became blades, slicing Gouketsu's body apart like tofu.

Yet Gouketsu still didn't die.

His body, severed into multiple pieces, began writhing—trying to reassemble itself.

Sonic rapidly formed hand seals.

"Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation!"

Scorching flames clung to Gouketsu's limbs. Moments later, a rich aroma of roasted meat filled the air, charred and fragrant.

The flames were far stronger than Gouketsu had anticipated. He could only watch helplessly as his body was burned black.

"Know why I'm not killing you?"

Sonic planted a foot on Gouketsu's head, rummaged through his upper body, and pulled out several purple chunks of "flesh."

Staring at the wriggling Monster Cells, Sonic broke into a grin.

Master's task—perfectly completed.

Next, Gouketsu would be taken back as an experimental subject.

"The final match is about to start. If you hurry back now, you'll still make it,"

Sonic said cheerfully, generously reminding Genos.

"Oh—thanks!"

Genos snapped back to his senses and hurried off toward the tournament venue.

"Treating me like this… the Monster Association won't let you off,"

Gouketsu threatened weakly.

"The Monster Association? Are there lots of monsters there?"

Sonic's eyes lit up with excitement.

"There are plenty stronger than me!"

Gouketsu sneered, convinced this would intimidate Sonic.

Instead, Sonic looked even more thrilled.

"Then can you tell me the address? You're going to die anyway—might as well do a good deed!"

Sonic gazed at him sincerely.

Gouketsu was completely dumbfounded.

"Aren't you afraid? I just told you—there are many monsters stronger than me!"

"Of course I'm afraid!" Sonic said, wiping drool from the corner of his mouth.

"Can't you see me shaking?"

…You look like you're shaking from excitement.

Gouketsu swallowed hard, suddenly realizing he might have provoked the wrong person.

"It's fine if you don't talk now,"

Sonic said with a wicked grin.

"Once we're back, you'll talk obediently."

He hoisted the half-destroyed Gouketsu onto his shoulder and eagerly headed home.

No need to worry about regeneration.

For the House of Evolution, monsters with strong regenerative abilities were good monsters.

With Gouketsu's defeat, the Monster Association received the news.

Across multiple cities, mechanical legions appeared, crushing huge numbers of their monsters.

The situation reversed instantly.

Even elite monsters were completely wiped out by a girl whose lower body was mechanical.

The urban crisis was resolved.

The heroes barely had any chance to act.

From behind the scenes, Gyoro Gyoro received the report from Phoenix Man and immediately set her sights on the House of Evolution.

"I worked so hard to push the Hero Association into this corner. I absolutely won't allow any other human force to rise up!"

Gyoro Gyoro stood and walked toward the chamber of the Monster King—Orochi.

By the time Genos returned to the stands,

the final match between Saitama and Suiryu was just beginning.

This time, determined to execute a complete set of techniques, Saitama was extremely cautious. He let Suiryu attack first—he didn't even counter.

From the audience's perspective, it was a completely one-sided fight. Saitama seemed utterly unable to fight back.

Until…

Saitama said that he was a hero, and Suiryu began to sneer disdainfully, insulting the very profession of heroes.

Saitama's expression instantly turned serious.

"You've been attacking for long enough. It's my turn now!"

"Sun Character Rushing Punch."

Saitama's fists moved like machine guns, smashing repeatedly into Suiryu's face.

One second later—

Suiryu had already been beaten unconscious.

He passed out standing up.

......

Because Saitama was discovered by the organizers to be wearing a wig, he was disqualified.

Suiryu, with a swollen face and bruises all over, was already completely unconscious, so the staff had no choice but to take the championship photo with the unconscious Suiryu.

They awarded him the trophy and medal all the same.

If that photo were displayed in the martial arts tournament's exhibition hall, it would be enough to cause instant social death.

After finally completing an entire set of punches, Saitama felt refreshed and invigorated, and deeply realized a truth:

Aside from Chu Yang, most other martial artists were probably trash.

"Other people's martial arts don't seem that interesting. And Yang's kind of martial arts—I can't learn it anyway. Forget it."

Thus, Saitama's martial arts journey came to an abrupt end halfway through, and he decided to go home and play games instead.

At the same time—

The Monster Association formally declared war on the Hero Association.

In the previous battle in City S, both Metal Bat and Metal Knight were defeated, and the price paid was that the monsters successfully kidnapped a senior executive of the Hero Association.

That executive provided 80% of the Hero Association's operating funds—a true financial backer.

A full-scale war between the two factions was inevitable.

Upon hearing the news, Chu Yang initially thought he could sit back and reap the benefits like a fisherman.

But to his surprise, the very next day, the Monster Association came knocking on his door.

A several-kilometer-long Elder Centipede coiled above the House of Evolution.

An overwhelmingly majestic sight.

Chu Yang was completely dumbfounded.

Wasn't this guy supposed to be over on Garou's side?

Elder Centipede was extremely powerful. Ordinary S-Class heroes stood no chance against it. In fact, aside from the top-ranked Blast and the second-ranked Tatsumaki, practically no one could deal with it.

It was also the second monster—after Boros—that forced Saitama to use a Serious Punch.

There weren't many monsters in the entire Monster Association stronger than it.

Unfortunately for it, its bad luck lay in coming to the wrong place.

The House of Evolution now had—

Chu Yang.

Saitama.

And even Tatsumaki had come by for a visit.

The three of them stood on the balcony, calmly watching Elder Centipede like they were sightseeing.

Chu Yang and Saitama were even holding cups of tea.

"What's it trying to do?"

"Did it get lost?"

"Doesn't look like it."

"It's blocking the sunlight. That's annoying—I just aired my bedding this morning."

"Yeah, I was about to air mine too."

"Why isn't it leaving…?"

"Don't tell me it wants to fight?"

Tatsumaki finally snapped and shouted, "Are you two blind?! It's obviously here to pick a fight!"

"Yesterday the Monster Association already delivered a declaration of war to Hero Association headquarters. I came today specifically to tell you about it!"

Chu Yang looked utterly baffled. "They declared war on the Hero Association, so why are they attacking my place? Are they stupid or something? Lost and can't find the road?"

Tatsumaki thought for a while. "Maybe… you've been getting too famous lately."

"Idiotic." Chu Yang rolled his eyes and turned to Saitama. "Why don't you take care of it? We still need to air the bedding later."

Saitama rolled his shoulders and nodded. "Makes sense."

Tatsumaki hurriedly stopped him and glared at Chu Yang. "Are you insane?! That's a Dragon-level monster—he'll die if he goes up!"

Who's dying here?

This kid's been hanging around for so long and still doesn't know who the real boss is?

Chu Yang couldn't even be bothered to complain, but then he reconsidered—if Saitama punched it, Elder Centipede wouldn't even leave a corpse, let alone usable materials.

"Forget it. Let Sonic and the others handle it. You go home and play games."

Chu Yang waved his hand dismissively.

"Is that okay? That thing looks pretty strong," Saitama glanced at Elder Centipede.

Seeing the two of them completely ignore her, Tatsumaki immediately blew up. "Who are you looking down on?! I'm S-Class Rank 2! I don't need anyone else's help!"

Chu Yang took a sip of tea and said calmly, "Then go ahead. As long as you keep the body intact, it's fine."

"I don't even know why you collect so many monster corpses. That's disgusting," Tatsumaki shuddered, then flew straight out through the floor-to-ceiling window.

At that moment, JARVIS's voice sounded.

"Boss, a large number of abnormal lifeforms are gathering nearby. Should the legion be deployed to clear them?"

Chu Yang nodded. "Since they're already here, take them all."

With Chu Yang's approval, JARVIS immediately dispatched large numbers of Mark Alpha mechs to wipe out the monsters appearing nearby.

"Oh, right—send Mia to support Tatsumaki as well, just in case something goes wrong."

"Understood, Boss."

Saitama looked on enviously. "Artificial intelligence is really interesting. I want one too."

Chu Yang replied casually, "JARVIS is right here. Call anytime."

Saitama said excitedly, "JARVIS, can you help me air my bedding?"

JARVIS replied, "Mr. Saitama, your own tasks should be handled by yourself. Labor is the most glorious."

Saitama looked like he'd just been punched in the chest, his face turning green.

That was not the answer he wanted!

Thus, the bald genius began arguing with the artificial intelligence.

Chu Yang listened cheerfully as they bickered—so much so that even the thunderous artillery fire outside couldn't distract him.

Above the House of Evolution.

The moment Elder Centipede saw Tatsumaki fly out, it clearly froze, its expression turning grim.

As a psychic, Tatsumaki was extremely adept at dealing with large-scale monsters—she countered it perfectly.

She pointed with a finger. A shimmering green light wrapped around Elder Centipede, instantly depriving it of control over its body.

"That guy said I can't damage the body… damn it. Otherwise I'd twist it into pieces!"

Elder Centipede's size was simply too massive. Normally, she would've dealt with it using a meteor shower.

Smashing it with meteors would at least leave a usable corpse.

But this was the House of Evolution.

If even one meteor hit the ground below, Chu Yang would definitely give her a brutal lesson today.

"Bad call. I should've let them handle it themselves."

Tatsumaki regretted it—this was completely self-inflicted suffering.

Now, all she could do was forcibly move Elder Centipede farther away from the House of Evolution.

Elder Centipede began to struggle violently.

Cold sweat formed on Tatsumaki's forehead. Controlling a Dragon-level monster was far more difficult than killing one.

But soon, she suddenly felt things get easier.

A familiar psychic force joined in, sharing the burden for her.

Tatsumaki turned her head and saw a girl whose lower body was mechanical.

"Hmph! Nosy."

Tatsumaki muttered irritably.

Mia wore a gentle, friendly smile and didn't take it to heart at all.

In her view, Tatsumaki was just a little fool who'd had two big tubes of blood drawn by their master.

Why argue with a fool?

"Miss Tatsumaki, I think you're right," Mia replied sincerely.

"Too slow!"

Sonic leapt high into the air and slashed Elder Centipede several times.

Sparks flew violently—but no visible damage was left behind.

"Its exterior is far harder than you think, and its regeneration is extremely strong," Tatsumaki sneered.

"Hard on the outside doesn't mean hard on the inside."

Sonic jumped straight into Elder Centipede's mouth, leaving Tatsumaki staring in shock.

"Are all the people here insane?!"

She turned to ask Mia.

Mia thought about it seriously.

Sonic, Genus, Lord Chu Yang… and even herself—yeah, they all seemed a bit abnormal.

"Miss Tatsumaki, I think so."
