Chapter 119 - Chapter 119 – It’s Fine, I’m Just Taking a Stroll. You Go On.

The moment the interstellar battleship appeared—nearly blotting out the sky over City A—the shockwave it released flattened everything below.

Only then did everyone truly understand what "the Earth is in trouble" actually meant.

Aside from the Hero Association headquarters, every other district was completely annihilated.

The reason the headquarters survived was because, during its construction, Metal Knight had used fragments of space meteors to reinforce the building's structure.

"The disaster has arrived. It's time for heroes to take the stage."

Chu Yang stood up, dusted off his pants, and turned around—only to find Saitama already gone. Looking up at the massive hole in the ceiling, he couldn't help but laugh.

"Pretty fast, huh."

"Sonic, remember to clean up the battlefield."

"Understood, Master."

After giving that crucial instruction, Chu Yang flew straight up through the hole in the ceiling.

Sonic licked his lips. All the high-level monsters appearing on the battlefield today were basically his for the taking.

This time, Chu Yang had brought only him along. If he didn't perform well now, someone else might take his place next time.

"I can't disappoint Master."

Sonic's ghostly figure vanished from the conference room.

Only Genos noticed their departure. Hearing the chaotic, hurried footsteps outside, he also followed them through the hole in the ceiling.

Soon after, Tatsumaki and several other heroes followed Genos onto the rooftop.

Child Emperor, Superalloy Darkshine, Tatsumaki, Genos—and King, awkwardly stuck halfway through the hole—were all staring up at the colossal battleship in the sky.

Other than Tatsumaki, none of them could deal with the ship's defensive weaponry, let alone break inside.

"Where's that guy?" Tatsumaki asked, looking at Genos. He was the first one up.

"I don't know," Genos shook his head.

He knew she was asking about Chu Yang, but when he came up, neither Chu Yang nor his teacher was anywhere to be seen.

Anyone with half a brain could guess the two had already entered the ship, but Genos didn't say it out loud.

Inside the spaceship.

Chu Yang followed closely behind Saitama.

Saitama rampaged through the ship like a wrecking ball, while Chu Yang happily collected corpses in his wake. Fortunately, Saitama wasn't moving very fast, so Chu Yang kept up with ease.

The members of Boros's Dark Matter Thieves were all top-tier. Chu Yang picked up a pile of monster corpses—not a single one below Demon-level.

Most were peak Demon-level, just a step away from Dragon-level.

Bringing this haul back would not only aid research, but could also be used to manufacture an armor legion.

When that time came, Chu Yang could finally stay peacefully in his lab and enjoy early retirement, instead of running around everywhere.

Saitama continued smashing his way through the ship. After some time, a green-skinned monster appeared before him.

Standing on a high platform, the monster shouted about smashing Saitama's bald head. It leapt down—

Before it could finish its line, Saitama jumped up and punched its head clean off.

Simple. Unadorned. Effective.

"Oh? A golden drop!"

Chu Yang stepped forward to check and found it was actually a Dragon-level monster. He vaguely remembered its name—something like Geryuganshoop.

"You're really unlucky. Didn't even get to finish your lines."

He looted the body while casually mocking it.

Suddenly, the ship began to shake violently, explosions echoing nonstop.

"The bald guy got lost and started tearing the place apart."

After storing the Dragon-level corpse, Chu Yang headed toward the source of the explosions.

On the ground.

Another Dragon-level monster was being surrounded by heroes.

Its name was Melzargard, one of the Dark Matter Thieves' highest-ranking combatants.

Melzargard had five heads, each with its own consciousness, capable of splitting off and acting independently.

Its body could morph at will, transforming into deadly weapons.

On top of that, it possessed absurd regenerative abilities.

Inside its body were five cores—only by destroying all five could it be truly killed.

With such terrifying traits, Melzargard still managed to hold its own even against multiple S-Class heroes.

Iaian was the first to arrive, and one of his arms had already been severed. If Atomic Samurai hadn't arrived in time, he might already be dead.

Ranked fourth among the S-Class, Atomic Samurai was a master swordsman whose slashes—known as Atomic Slash—could supposedly cut anything to pieces.

While that description was somewhat exaggerated, its power was beyond question. Ordinary Dragon-level monsters couldn't withstand it.

But Atomic Slash had its drawbacks.

Against monsters nearly immune to cutting—like Melzargard with its extreme regeneration—Atomic Samurai was forced into a bitter fight.

After cutting Melzargard apart three or four times and watching it regenerate again, Atomic Samurai finally realized how troublesome it was.

Thankfully, Silver Fang Bang and Metal Bat arrived in time, joining the battle.

The three unleashed their ultimate techniques, smashing Melzargard's body again and again.

Yet in the very next moment, it would regenerate.

Over and over. Endless.

Soon after, Puri-Puri Prisoner also joined the fight. He stripped off his clothes and entered Angel Mode.

Whether his attack power increased was questionable—but he definitely looked more deranged.

Melzargard kept getting beaten, kept regenerating. It couldn't defeat the heroes, and the heroes couldn't kill it either.

"Hey, it's only been a few days—how'd you get your arm chopped off already?"

Sonic appeared beside Iaian, coldly delivering a heart-piercing remark.

He wasn't mocking him—just stating facts. But to Iaian, it sounded like pure ridicule.

Iaian's face darkened. He didn't respond.

Sonic didn't mind and continued casually, "If you've got time, come to the Evolution House. I'll have that idiot Genos—no, Dr. Genus—install you a mechanical prosthetic. Your strength won't drop too much."

Iaian stared at him in shock.

"Anyway, up to you."

Sonic walked away, muttering under his breath, "If Master hadn't said we shouldn't make too many enemies, who'd bother with you?"

On the other side, Puri-Puri Prisoner pummeled Melzargard with his fists, but it had no effect—he just tired himself out.

Melzargard seized the opening and counterattacked, its fist turning into a blunt weapon and striking like lightning—the same move that had severed Iaian's arm.

Bang flashed in front of Puri-Puri Prisoner, intending to block the blow.

But another black figure was even faster, leaping straight onto Melzargard's arm.

Brilliant blade light flashed repeatedly, and Melzargard's arm was instantly disassembled into shredded flesh.

Atomic Samurai instinctively praised, "Excellent swordsmanship!"

But when he realized it was Sonic, his smile instantly collapsed, his face looking like he'd swallowed something foul.

Sonic moved at blinding speed. In the instant he dismembered the arm, he grabbed hold of a fleeting core—

And crushed it in front of Melzargard's eyes.

That arm never regenerated.

Iaian stared blankly. "So… this is Flashy Ninja Sonic's true strength?"

Before the fight began, Chu Yang had already told Sonic about Melzargard's weakness—that was how he found the core so quickly.

Sonic never questioned how his master knew such things.

In his mind, Master was greater than the gods themselves.

Knowing everything was only natural!

Bang and the others were stunned when they saw Sonic destroy the arm permanently.

"Where did this kid come from…?"

"He found the monster's weak point in a single strike—was he observing the whole time?"

"What sharp battle instincts."

"I remember he's only C-Class. Like that bald guy in a cape."

"He resolved the Deep Sea King incident—by rights, he should've been promoted."

"I heard A-Class Rank 1, Yang, fell out with headquarters, and it affected his disciple."

"The Hero Association is really going downhill…"

Several S-Class heroes quietly discussed Sonic, admiration showing in their eyes.

Melzargard, meanwhile, looked at Sonic in sheer terror.

How does this human know my core secret?!

More importantly—he couldn't even track Sonic's movements. He could only watch as his core was crushed.

If Sonic destroyed the others, there was nothing it could do to stop him.

"No choice left… Notify the control room to bombard the ground. Full firepower. Don't let any of them live!"

Melzargard split off part of its body, trying to secretly contact the ship's control room.

Before the fragment could get far, Sonic pierced it with a single shuriken.

Metal Bat stepped forward to finish it off, but Sonic stopped him, saying seriously, "This is my loot. Don't touch it."

"No one wants that thing," Metal Bat replied, looking at Sonic like he was an idiot before backing off.

"It's mine. You're not allowed to steal it," Sonic warned everyone sternly.

Now it wasn't just Metal Bat—everyone else also felt that Sonic had something wrong with his head. What kind of normal person would fight over that?

Seeing that no one moved, Sonic nodded in satisfaction, then pointed his blade tip at Melzargard.

"Your body—I need it. Surrender obediently."

Melzargard, who had followed Boros across the universe, had never suffered such humiliation. It stomped the ground and charged straight at Sonic.

Seeing Melzargard take the bait, Sonic immediately activated his Sharingan and entered torment mode.

Melzargard's steps halted. Its eyes went vacant as it froze mid-charge.

"Huh?"

"What's going on?"

Bang sensed something was off and stepped forward to observe. The others gathered around as well.

After watching for a moment, Atomic Samurai clicked his tongue in amazement. "He used some kind of ability to restrain the monster."

"But he can't move either—what's the point?" Metal Bat said.

"It's useless one-on-one," Metal Bat continued, "but in a group fight, it's perfect."

Bang nodded in agreement. In most cases, heroes below S-Class operated in teams.

"So what does he want? For us to finish it off? But he just told us not to interfere," Puri-Puri Prisoner said, confused.

"Then let's wait," Bang decided. He was curious to see what would happen next.

On the spaceship.

Saitama smashed his way wherever he went, driving the last Dragon-level executive in the control room into a mental breakdown.

The executive was named Geryuganshoop, an esper who used telekinesis—basically from the same school as Tatsumaki—looking like a giant octopus.

If you stuck more eyes all over him, he'd look like a low-budget knockoff of Cthulhu.

Geryuganshoop's psychic power was extremely strong—strong enough to manipulate gravity. According to lore, his "throwing things" ability was even stronger than Tatsumaki's.

When Tatsumaki attacked using telekinesis, friction and external forces were unavoidable. Once speed exceeded a certain threshold, the object itself would vaporize, with the final outcome determined by its boiling point.

Geryuganshoop, however, could eliminate air resistance entirely, accelerating any object he controlled to near light speed, making his attacks devastating.

But that was the only aspect where he surpassed Tatsumaki.

In terms of raw psychic power, Tatsumaki still held absolute dominance.

Geryuganshoop was helpless against the bald man smashing everything inside the ship. Trying to outsmart him, he attempted to lure Saitama outside.

Instead, Saitama turned the tables and located the control room.

Chu Yang quietly followed behind Saitama. No one on the ship noticed him.

Or rather, Saitama was so eye-catching that everyone naturally ignored Chu Yang.

Chu Yang was delighted—without lifting a finger, he was collecting piles of experimental materials. It felt like an AFK victory.

Saitama kicked open the control room door and swaggered inside.

Geryuganshoop attacked immediately, controlling massive amounts of debris and firing them at Saitama at near light speed.

This attack was already comparable to the ship's full-area bombardment.

Even Chu Yang, a master of stacking defenses, would find tanking it somewhat taxing.

But Saitama stood calmly within the storm of debris, not even a scratch on his skin.

Chu Yang watched with his mouth dry and decided that after this, he'd trick Saitama into giving a couple more blood samples for research.

Failing to injure Saitama at all enraged Geryuganshoop. He went all out, activating super-telekinetic gravity waves and began manipulating the gravity of the entire space.

The control room's fodder troops were instantly doomed. Geryuganshoop didn't bother sparing them.

Saitama remained standing, while they were crushed into pieces by gravity.

A pile of materials exploded across the floor. Chu Yang grinned ear to ear, quietly picking them up—right up to Geryuganshoop's feet.

Only then did Geryuganshoop notice the second human in the room.

"What are you doing?" he shouted in shock.

Chu Yang looked up, grinned, and said, "Nothing. Just taking a walk. You go on."

Geryuganshoop: "???"

Enraged, Geryuganshoop exploded with fury. A bald man and a trash collector—neither affected by gravity. Where was his dignity as the universe's greatest esper?!

Countless fragments floated in the control room, then shot out at high speed under his control. He turned into a living Gatling gun.

Rat-tat-tat!

Another wave of comrades was "saved" by Geryuganshoop himself.

Chu Yang's eyes shone as he looted.

Geryuganshoop—you're a real living Bodhisattva!

But the next second—

The "Bodhisattva" got his head blown off by a casually thrown rock from the bald man.

"All you've done this whole time is throw rocks?" Saitama said, disappointed. "That's boring."

Chu Yang was also regretful. He tearfully looted the body and stored Geryuganshoop away.

From a few surviving underlings, Saitama learned of Boros's existence and continued onward.

He stopped in front of a massive steel gate over ten meters tall.

Following behind, Chu Yang sensed an overwhelming presence on the other side.

The dominator of the universe.

Boros.

As the leader of the Dark Matter Thieves, Boros had rampaged across the vast universe for years without a single defeat.

Due to the harsh environment of his home planet, his species had evolved incredibly powerful physical traits—most notably, extreme regeneration.

Unlike Melzargard's regeneration, which had clear weaknesses, Boros's had no core. It was pure biological talent.

The only drawback was lifespan consumption under extreme conditions.

In Chu Yang's eyes, that wasn't even a flaw—just a cost.

The moment Saitama blasted the gate open, Boros sat on his throne, watching him.

Clad in armor, Boros was in a power-suppressed state.

Otherwise, he wouldn't feel even the slightest thrill from battle—he was simply too strong.

Saitama understood that feeling deeply.

Boros rose from his throne and slowly descended the steps, speaking to Saitama about the loneliness born of overwhelming strength.

"I conquered countless planets, yet found not a single worthy opponent. I longed for a rival—until I heard a prophecy."

"It said that on a distant blue planet, there existed someone who could match me. I spent twenty years crossing billions of light-years to come here… and finally, I've found you."

Boros stopped before Saitama, his single eye bulging with excitement.

"But before that, I'll clean up the irrelevant insects."

As soon as Boros spoke, he flashed beside Chu Yang and slammed a fist down.

Lightning wrapped around Chu Yang as the Tailed Beast Cloak appeared. He stacked every buff instantly and raised a hand to block the strike.

The entire spaceship sank violently from the impact.

"Oh?!"

Boros was shocked—and confused. Another strong one?!

Taking advantage of Boros's distraction, Chu Yang grabbed his fist, dragged him in a blink to Saitama, pressed a hand on Saitama's shoulder, and vanished with both of them.

When Saitama came to his senses, he and Boros were standing on a strange island.

"You two fight here," Chu Yang said. "Otherwise, you'll wreck my spaceship."

At Chu Yang's feet was a Flying Thunder God seal—everything had been prepared long ago.

From the start, his goal was Boros's entire ship.

If possible, he even wanted to capture Boros for research—but Boros could only die in battle, turning to dust. Alive capture was impossible.

Suddenly transported to an unfamiliar island, Boros flew into a rage, realizing he'd been played. Just as he was about to attack Chu Yang, Chu Yang vanished right in front of him.

Saitama scratched his bald head. "So that ship was his? You're a real scammer."

Boros's eye turned green with rage as he shattered his armor and entered his true state.

The battle began.

Saitama, now in full serious mode, handled Boros's attacks with ease.

"Invading other planets just to seek excitement—that's really vile," Saitama said, punching Boros straight into the sea.

Moments later, the ocean boiled as Boros burst out, tidal waves engulfing the island.

The battle continued.

Meanwhile, Chu Yang returned to the ship and began placing Flying Thunder God seals everywhere.

Earlier, he hadn't just been collecting materials while following Saitama—everywhere he passed, he left seals behind.

The ship was too massive to teleport in one go. A large number of seals were required.

"Metal Knight wants to swoop in and steal the spoils?" Chu Yang sneered. "I won't even let you drink the wash water."

Chu Yang had just finished laying down the technique formula when he sensed an abnormal movement within the spaceship—its weapon systems had been activated.

Outside, Child Emperor, who was monitoring the ship's status, also detected a massive energy anomaly. He immediately notified Hero Association Headquarters that the spaceship was about to commence bombardment.

The entire building began emergency evacuation procedures.

Unfortunately, it was already too late.

One after another, violet lights flared along the underside of the ship.

The cannons were about to fire.

Bang and the other S-Class heroes tensed up, bracing themselves.

They all knew one thing clearly—once the bombardment began, no one would survive.

BOOOOM—!!!

A deafening roar of cannon fire erupted!

At the critical moment—

Tatsumaki's figure appeared silently.

She raised a hand, and with overwhelming psychic power, forcibly halted the falling shells. Each projectile—each the size of a building—froze midair.

Tatsumaki slowly floated upward. With a flick of her finger, every shell reversed direction and shot back toward the spaceship.

A smug glint flashed through her eyes as she prepared to admire the spectacle of the ship being blown apart.

Suddenly—

The massive starship, over 15,000 meters long, vanished.

Just like that.

The sky above City A was left completely empty.

Tatsumaki froze in place, dumbstruck.

Bang shuddered.

Atomic Samurai's katana slipped from his hand and clattered to the ground.

Everyone stared at the sky in utter shock, terrified by the near-supernatural sight.

Inside headquarters, several executives stood by the windows, eyes vacant as they stared upward.

Such an enormous spaceship… had disappeared without a trace?!

"So… does this mean the crisis is over?"

"That's great! Earth is saved—we're safe!"

"Saved my ass! Hurry up and find that ship! If it's gone for good, the losses will be astronomical!"

The board members instantly descended into chaos.

Outside, the heroes finally relaxed after the initial shock.

No matter what, the disaster was over.

Only Tatsumaki was fuming, feeling as if someone had stolen her credit.

Sonic also broke free from the illusion. Across from him, Melzargard had already collapsed unconscious, his face frozen in deep terror.

"A monster that can revive endlessly like this…" Sonic muttered. "Genus would probably be thrilled to experiment on it."

"Master would be happy too."

Sonic grinned. Despite his small frame, he hoisted Melzargard onto his shoulder with ease.

Just as he was about to leave, he heard someone spouting nonsense loudly.

"What's the point of you S-Class heroes? The entire city has been destroyed!"

A-Class hero Sweet Mask sat atop a chunk of rubble, sneering disdainfully at the heroes who had just survived a life-or-death battle.

A guy who hadn't fought at all—lecturing others shamelessly?

Sonic was instantly irritated.

He had been one of the main forces in defeating Melzargard. Every word Sweet Mask spoke felt like a personal insult.

Trash.

Useless.

Garbage.

Sonic set Melzargard down and walked toward Sweet Mask.

"You want to fight me?"

"A mere C-Class hero…"

"Don't think standing next to a few S-Class heroes makes the credit yours."

"You're disgusting—just like that master of yours."

Sweet Mask still resented Chu Yang for taking his A-Class Rank One spot.

That final sentence nearly cost him his life.

Sonic drew his blade.

A flash of steel.

Sweet Mask's voice cut off abruptly.

A horrifying gash split across his abdomen.

Several S-Class heroes stared in shock—especially Metal Bat, who stood closest.

No one expected Sonic to actually attack.

Sweet Mask least of all.

He wasn't careless—he had been watching Sonic closely and knew an attack was coming.

But he still couldn't dodge it.

"A mere C-Class hero…"

The same words now came out trembling with fear.

Why couldn't I dodge an attack from a C-Class hero?!

Clutching his wound, Sweet Mask staggered backward. Sonic pressed forward relentlessly, killing intent blazing.

Among everyone present, perhaps only Genos understood Sonic's fury.

If someone insulted Sensei, he'd react similarly—though maybe not this violently.

"Stop him!" Bang shouted urgently.

If news of heroes killing each other got out, public trust in heroes would collapse completely.

Metal Bat immediately stepped in front of Sonic, swinging his bat to force him back.

"Hey, hey, calm down! Yeah, his attitude sucks and I hate it too—but killing someone is a whole different thing!"

Metal Bat kept talking, but the killing intent in Sonic's eyes didn't waver, making his brows knit tightly.

This kid really intends to kill him.

"If you help him," Sonic said coldly, "then you're my enemy."

He activated Shadow Clone Technique.

Two Sonics appeared.

One clone stayed behind to engage Metal Bat, while the real Sonic lunged straight at Sweet Mask.

"What the hell kind of ability is that?!"

"Damn it—!"

Metal Bat was completely tied down by the Shadow Clone's ferocious assault.

He had assumed it was just an illusion—but it was a solid body?!

Atomic Samurai and Puri-Puri Prisoner rushed in together to stop Sonic.

Sonic repeated the same trick, splitting off two more Shadow Clones to hold them back.

Just as he was about to deliver the killing blow to Sweet Mask—

Bang suddenly appeared.

With a flick of his finger, he struck the flat of Sonic's blade, deflecting the attack.

Sweet Mask's face was dark as his abdominal wound slowly began to heal.

His regenerative ability was extremely strong.

"That slash almost cut into my organs…"

"That bastard!"

Sweet Mask ground his teeth in hatred. What he valued most was his image, yet Sonic had left him utterly disgraced.

Sonic observed Bang carefully. This old man was strong—so strong that even the Sharingan couldn't find a flaw in him right away.

"You're called Sonic, right?" Bang said calmly.

"Sweet Mask spoke out of line earlier, but he's already taken a blade and suffered a serious injury. Why not let this end here?"

"If you kill him now, setting everything else aside, it will definitely bring trouble to your teacher."

Bang offered the reminder in a gentle tone.

…Right.

Master had said not to create too many enemies for the House of Evolution.

Sonic glanced around and realized that in a moment of impulsiveness, he had actually fought four S-Class heroes at once.

At the same time, his three Shadow Clones were destroyed.

"Old man, I'll give you some face and let this end today—but…"

"The next time we meet, I'll still kill him."

Before leaving, Sonic made a throat-slitting gesture toward Sweet Mask, infuriating him to the point his face turned ashen.

"That's enough. You really want to fight him to the death?" Bang shot Sweet Mask a sidelong glance.

Sweet Mask clenched his teeth. "Even if you don't interfere, I won't lose to him."

Bang shook his head helplessly, said nothing more, and turned away.

Metal Bat snorted, contempt clearly visible in his eyes.

Tatsumaki suddenly appeared and blasted Sweet Mask away with a burst of psychic force, cursing, "That's a man who beat me—who do you think you are to insult him?!"

She wasn't really defending Chu Yang.

It was just that Sweet Mask's earlier rant had included her as well.

Now she had a perfect excuse to beat him up.

Sweet Mask was injured again and again. He shot Tatsumaki a furious glare, then fled in panic.

Sonic hoisted Melzargard back onto his shoulder, preparing to leave, when Genos walked over and asked, "Sensei and… Yang—Senior—are both gone. Do you know where they are?"

Sonic replied, "They were probably transferred by Master's ninjutsu. Most likely at the House of Evolution."

Genos exclaimed in shock, "That spaceship was moved by Senior Yang? How is that even possible?"

Sonic frowned, clearly displeased. "How many times do I have to say it? It's ninjutsu!"

Genos immediately apologized.

"So the spaceship was transferred by someone?" Bang said with a warm smile, hands clasped behind his back as he stood before Sonic. "That sounds quite interesting. Young man, would you mind letting me see it for myself?"

"…Hmm."

"Since you reminded me not to cause trouble for my master, I'll consider taking you along."

Sonic said proudly.

Atomic Samurai also wanted to tag along and see the legendary House of Evolution for himself.

However, Iai Iron's arm had been severed, and the psychological shadow the House of Evolution left on him was still too strong.

Considering both his disciple's physical and mental health, Atomic Samurai could only give up the idea.

Tatsumaki was also hesitant.

She wasn't convinced—and still wanted to challenge Chu Yang again!

Meanwhile.

On a remote island far away.

Boros had already been beaten into a pile of ashes by Saitama, and Earth's atmosphere had been neatly parted down the middle by a punch.

"Damn it, where the hell is this place?!"

"Hey! Get me back already!!!"

No one heard Saitama's roar.

A seagull flew over his head and rewarded him with a lump of green bird droppings.

Splatter!

It landed squarely on Saitama's bald head.

The corner of his mouth twitched.

House of Evolution.

Armored Gorilla was leading monsters in construction when the site was suddenly shrouded in shadow.

He looked up.

A massive starship—over ten thousand meters long—hovered directly above.

He nearly suffered cardiac arrest on the spot.

"Did Hero Association Headquarters come for us?"

"How many S-Class heroes did they send?"

"I knew this day would come!"

"Ah… my lord, you were careless!"

Armored Gorilla was on the verge of tears. He had been dreaming of living peacefully, getting married, having kids, and retiring with a huge pension.

"The hell do you mean careless?" A flash of golden light landed beside him. Chu Yang poked his head out, staring at him in confusion.

"My lord—why did you come down from up there?" Armored Gorilla froze.

"What do you think?" Chu Yang shot him an annoyed look. "Why are you standing around? Take people up there and bring down the experimental materials!"

Armored Gorilla snapped back to reality.

So the spaceship belongs to us?!

Then there's no problem at all!

He happily led people up, then came back down with a group of aliens already tagged as test subjects.

These were all Boros's crew—special species from various planets. Their combat strength wasn't impressive, but their research value was extremely high.

As for the spaceship itself, Chu Yang had no intention of keeping it.

After dismantling it, he planned to build an Iron Man–style army.
