"I'll definitely become Hokage in the future! A Hokage just like Lord Hashirama!"
On the first day of enrollment at the Ninja Academy, Chu Yang spotted a student shouting at the school gate the moment he arrived.
Teaching wasn't something Chu Yang particularly enjoyed. First, he himself was a talent monster—he had no patience for teaching ordinary people. Second, he really disliked bratty kids.
Especially bratty kids who were overly excited.
Like the one shouting in front of him.
With a dark expression, Chu Yang walked over, pressed a hand down on the kid's head, and said flatly, "This is a school. Keep your voice down."
Unexpectedly, the brat had quite a temper. He slapped Chu Yang's hand away, ran behind his father, and made a face at him.
Chu Yang: "..."
The ninja seemed to know who Chu Yang was and smiled apologetically. "Lord Yang, I'm very sorry. My son lacks discipline—please don't lower yourself to his level."
Chu Yang looked surprised. "You know me? What's your name?"
"I am Sarutobi Sasuke. This is my son, Sarutobi Hiruzen."
Sarutobi Sasuke smiled as he nudged Sarutobi Hiruzen forward, then whispered, "This is Lord Hokage's disciple. Aren't you always admiring him? Why aren't you saying anything now?"
Sarutobi Hiruzen stared at Chu Yang with wide eyes.
Chu Yang also stared back at him, eyes equally wide. The two stood there, staring at each other.
Holy crap!
This brat is the Third Hokage?!
Chu Yang was still in a daze when the young future Third Hokage spoke bluntly, "So you're Lord Hokage's disciple? You don't look like much."
Chu Yang: "..."
Sarutobi Sasuke scratched his head awkwardly and laughed. "Haha, Lord Yang, sorry about that. The kid probably hasn't woken up properly yet—he's always talking nonsense."
The corners of Chu Yang's mouth lifted slightly, though his smile didn't reach his eyes. "It's fine. I'll take him inside in a moment. His sleepiness will clear up right away."
Sarutobi Hiruzen seemed to sense the ill intent in Chu Yang's tone and desperately retreated, trying to hide behind his father.
Unfortunately, small and young as he was, he was still pushed right back to Chu Yang's side.
"Lord Yang, please take good care of Hiruzen. I have a mission, so I'll be leaving now," Sarutobi Sasuke said. Then he bent down and told Hiruzen, "Hiruzen, study hard. I'll come pick you up after school!"
With that, Sarutobi Sasuke vanished in a Body Flicker, clearly in a hurry.
Sarutobi Hiruzen looked up at Chu Yang and forced an ingratiating smile.
Chu Yang smiled back—only in Hiruzen's eyes, that smile looked downright demonic.
"Waaahhh!!!"
With his psychological defenses completely shattered, Sarutobi Hiruzen burst into tears.
First day of school, and I already made the future Third Hokage cry?!
Chu Yang smacked his own forehead, his face full of headache-inducing regret.
...
The start of a new school term was always troublesome.
And it wasn't just the Chu Yang of the ninja world who felt that way—there was also Chu Yang of the Harry Potter magical world.
In the wizarding world, Chu Yang had grown up in a London orphanage.
Before going to the Soul Palace, he had already received an admission notice from Hogwarts.
Chu Yang did have some magical talent, but at the time, he worried that he wouldn't survive the crises that would unfold at the school.
The first few years might be manageable, he thought. But once he reached fourth year and the Triwizard Tournament began, Voldemort's return would follow.
Chu Yang didn't believe that a wizard apprentice from an orphanage could survive a war that would engulf the entire magical world.
Rather than taking such a huge risk by attending Hogwarts, it seemed safer to remain an ordinary Muggle.
But now, things had changed.
His cheat had arrived.
With support from the Chu Yangs of two other worlds, his confidence skyrocketed.
So, after his soul returned to the real world, Chu Yang immediately dug out the acceptance letter he had hidden beneath his pillow.
The first page read:
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore(Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot, Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards, Order of Merlin, First Class)
Dear Mr. Chu,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.
We await your owl by no later than 31 July.
Yours sincerely,
Minerva McGonagall
Deputy Headmistress
He wrote back to Hogwarts, explaining his situation at the orphanage and requesting that the school send a professor to assist him.
There was no way he could find his way to Diagon Alley on his own.
The diligent owl, which had nearly been stewed by the orphanage's nuns for soup after repeatedly failing to get a reply, finally received his letter and immediately took off into the sky.
"As long as it's not Snape, I'm fine with any professor," Chu Yang muttered. He didn't dislike Snape, but as a student, he instinctively wanted to keep his distance.
Snape was far too similar to the disciplinarians from his previous life who whipped students with bamboo rods…
There would still be some time before Hogwarts responded and sent someone over, so Chu Yang decided to use this window to scrape together some tuition money.
How?
Obviously by rob—ahem—redistributing wealth from the rich to the poor.
This was 1990s London, after all. Dark alleyways were full of idle thugs.
Chu Yang specifically targeted those people. On a good day, he might even stumble upon a gang transaction and make a killing in one go.
In just two days, he managed to earn enough for seven years' worth of tuition.
Naturally, Hogwarts couldn't know about this. On the surface, Chu Yang still had to look like a poor student.
On the evening of the third day after sending his reply, Chu Yang sensed a special presence with his Observation Haki. He packed his luggage, quietly climbed out the window, and waited in the yard.
After a short while, a gentle voice sounded behind him.
"Mr. Chu Yang, I'm very pleased to see that you've prepared in advance."
Chu Yang turned around and saw a short, plump witch walking toward him. She had messy, fluffy hair, heavy robes, and a pointed hat covered in patches.
Chu Yang nodded and asked, "Are you a professor from Hogwarts?"
The witch smiled warmly. "Hello, Mr. Chu Yang. I am Pomona Sprout, Head of Hufflepuff House and Professor of Herbology at Hogwarts."
Chu Yang bowed slightly. "Nice to meet you, Professor Sprout."
Professor Sprout glanced at the orphanage behind him and said softly, "In Hogwarts' nearly thousand-year history, children from orphanages have rarely had the opportunity to study there. The last one was…"
