Astromius saw a sudden and horrifying change in Kalies face
Kalies' expression shifted unnaturally—his eyes turned a smoky grey, swirling like storm clouds. His body lifted upside down into the air, suspended as if an invisible force had seized him. The very atmosphere changed the wind fell silent and the tension pressed down everywhere.
Astromius stepped back, his heart was beating fast
Not yet .... Not yet .... He said kalies body cannot hold his own power now. He said
Astromius closed his eyes and he couldn't stand the power of kalies and the strong swirling wind.
He don't have the strength to unleash his full potential.
Worse—without returning to full consciousness, he could not even summon his weapon. His memory of himself, his true nature, was fractured and incomplete
After some time
Kalies fell from the air.
Astromius ran forward and caught him just in time, cradling him before gently placing him beneath a tall, ancient tree.
Frost still clung to the land—they had only just passed beyond the borders of the Ice Kingdom.
Kalies' face was pale and exhausted, he looked tired his breath uneven. He was in no condition to continue the travel.
He should restore his energy.
Murmuring an incantation, Astromius used some spell and fresh water and an apple he placed them infront of kalies.
"Lord, you must eat," Astromius said softly, concern heavy in his voice. "We cannot continue otherwise."
Kalies slowly pushed himself upright , pressing his shivering hand to his chest. A sharp pain pulsed through his heart, stealing his breath. He drank the water carefully.
Astromius knelt beside him. He looked at kalies curiously....he raised one eyebrow and asked .
"Do you remember what happened?"
Kalies frowned, his eyes distant.
"No… no," he whispered.
After a second he said
"It's all blurred—like broken memories. I saw a women,.... soldiers… … and a weapon." He stared at his empty hands. "It was in my grasp, but… I don't remember anything else."
Suddenly, his body convulsed. Kalies turned aside and vomited blood onto the frozen ground.
Astromius caught him again, panic flashing across his composed face.
"You need rest, Lord Kalies. We will travel tomorrow."
He lifted Kalies very carefully into his arms and continued onward. Yet as they descended from the frozen lands to the warmer world below, Astromius he had no idea where to take him.
Kalies' condition worsened with every step.
Unable to find shelter, Astromius finally laid him down near another tree, its branches swaying gently in the night wind.
"Stay here, my lord," he said calmly , brushing loose hair from Kalies' face. "I will search for a safe place for us to stay I promise—I will return soon."
With that, Astromius vanished into the darkness, driven by fear and loyalty alike.
At the Western Fort, Somalian left Mirel behind. He watched him with a mixed emotion of sympathy and doubt.
He's doing this to gain the king's attention, Somalian thought.
He considered mirels action as child's play.
Still,he handed Mirel a small pack filled with food and water.
"You don't have to do this to prove yourself," Somalian said firmly. "This isn't child's play."
He looked at mirels face.
Mirel only smiled. He whistled lightly, confidence shined in his eyes.
"Don't worry, Somalian. A man has his own path."
Somalian mounted his horse. As he rode away, he looked back at Mirel one last time before disappearing down the road.
Mirel began to walk, humming a song under his breath. He flicked his fingers, he cast a spell. A glowing map unfolded in his hand, shimmering with arcane symbols.
He looked at it carefully, his gaze settling on a distant path.
"The Kingdom of Maldrin here I come " he murmured, determination settling into his stride.
And so, under an uncertain sky, their journeys continued—each step pulling fate closer to collision.
It was almost evening.mirel saw a flowing stream he slowly waked towards it..
He is singing and is quite enjoying his time in forest... He crouched letting the fresh water run over his fingers he took some water in his hand and washed his face.
Ah ...
the shivering cold water raised Goosebumps
.. he s removed his clothes,he removed his shirt and pants and threw them to the land letting them fall where ever in the land.a cold Breeze touched his naked body and slid through his shoulder long hair... The rays of sun touched his smooth golden tone skin.he started to enter into the stream and the water climbed him slowly climbing his legs, pressing against his waist. The stream soothed his body and mind. The current traced the lines of his body, lingering, curious. His waist chain rested against his skin, hugging him calmly ,moving with the flow of water. Tiny water deities gathered, around him they are drawn to him without fear. They flitted around his shoulders and hair, brushing against him like playful whispers and giggles.Even they seemed shy, darting away and returning again, as if unsure whether to watch or worship.
He washed his body. When he finally came from the stream droplets clung to him, sliding down in lazy paths.
Mirel sat naked on a smooth rock to dry himself, the stone cool beneath him, the evening air gentle and unashamed. He closed his eyes, tilting his face toward the sky, breathing in the forest as if it were part of him.Evening shadows stretched across the forest as he walked, the chill brushing his skin. Then a sound made him stop a soft rustle among the leaves. His chest tightened. His legs moved forward before his mind could catch up drawn forward by something he couldn't name.
Beneath a tree, a manly figure sat, still and silent. Mirel's steps faltered. The surrounding seemed heavier, charged, as though the world itself had paused.
He drew closer. The man's back was straight, shoulders relaxed and tired , yet there was a weight to him, like he carried it for centuries in silence. Mirel's fingers twitched, a nervous heat running through him. His heart hammered.
Closer now, he crouched instinctively, knees brushing the soft earth. The man shifted, and evening rays caught his profile—sharp, calm, impossibly beautiful. Mirel blinked, caught off guard, breath catching in his throat.
He reached out a trembling hand. "Hey…" His voice was low, and gentle "Who… who are you? Why are you here alone?"
Kalies' eyes opened slowly. Heavy lids, faint color in his cheeks. No answer came He didn't need to. The calm radiating from him pressed against Mirel's chest, and a strange warmth spread through his fingers.
Kalies' gaze met mirel's Something unspoken passed between them—a pull, a memory. His hand twitched, caught in the weight of the moment, and then, suddenly, his body sagged.
Mirel acted without thought, catching him as he fell. Kalies rested against his shoulder's. A faint shiver ran along his spine, and the air seemed to hum around them. Mirel's fingers brushed loose strands of hair from his face.
He whispered, almost to himself, "Who are you…?"
A faint smirk curved mirel's' lips, fleeting, almost teasing.
You look tired beautiful man and I will help only Beause you are this beautiful let me find a safe place...he looked again at kalies face.
