Chapter 26 - Chapter 16: Hero Killer - Part 2(redone)

The air in Hosu City carried a metallic tang, a mix of smog and fear, as I patrolled its shadowed streets under Endeavor's command.

As I adjusted my hero costume, the Gacha System's neon interface flared, its mechanical voice sharp in my mind.

System Notice: Misconception corrected. User is a full Saiyan, transformed by Saiyan Physiology pull. Power-ups utilize ki, flaring aura externally for combat or flight (ground, sky, space), enhancing strength, speed, and durability. Internalized aura conserves ki, prolongs stamina, and enhances sensing of others' energy signatures. Current mastery at 50% of Broly's potential. Achieving 100% mastery unlocks Legendary Super Saiyan transformation, elevating power level to 1,000 million. Continue balanced growth.

The green aura, my berserk edge-it was Broly's blood, not a borrowed power. The system's swap from Superpower hid me from All For One, my father, whose shadow loomed larger with Stain's chaos in Hosu.

The Legendary Super Saiyan goal-1,000 million power level-was a beacon, but at 50%, I was already a force, rivaling top pros. I internalized my aura, sensing heartbeats in the streets, conserving ki for patrol.

Tonight, I'd use 30% of Broly's power, flaring aura only for combat, to avoid wrecking Hosu while hunting Stain or worse-Nomu, like the rogue I'd crushed last patrol, a USJ remnant All Might had sent skyward.

Iida's POV

Outside, my family waited-Mom, Dad, my younger sister, Aiko. Mom's eyes were red, her embrace tight. "Tenya, he's still with us," she whispered, but her voice trembled. Dad, stoic, gripped my shoulder.

"You're interning in Hosu. Stay with Manual, don't do anything reckless." Aiko, barely thirteen, hugged me, tears soaking my jacket. "Don't get hurt, Tenya. Promise."

Their love was a weight, anchoring me, but revenge burned hotter. Stain was in Hosu, and my internship with Manual was my chance. Midoriya's texts-"Stay safe, I'm in Hosu"-went unanswered.

He'd try to stop me, but this was my fight. I left the hospital, resolve like iron, the Hero Killer's shadow my only guide.

Izuku's POV

Endeavor's agency was a fortress of urgency, sidekicks like Burnin poring over maps marked with Stain's attacks. My second patrol loomed, the east district still reeling from my Nomu fight.

Endeavor briefed us, flames flaring, blue eyes like daggers. "Midoriya, you handled that Nomu-impressive. Stain's still out there, and Hosu's a powder keg. Patrol the south district tonight. Find any threat."

Burnin tossed me a comms device, grinning. "Don't go rogue again, kid. You're a beast, but stick with us." I nodded, internalizing my aura, Saiyan senses scanning-heartbeats, faint ki signatures. Iida's silence worried me; i knew he was chasing Stain, mirroring canon's reckless path.

The south district was a labyrinth of narrow alleys, streetlights flickering, civilians scarce. Fear clung to Hosu, Stain's name a whispered curse.

An hour into patrol, a guttural screech split the air. My Saiyan senses locked on-two ki signatures, monstrous, in an alley three blocks away. "Nomu!" I shouted, sprinting, aura flaring at 30% as ki surged.

Burnin cursed, "Midoriya, wait!" but I was gone, Saiyan speed blurring. The alley reeked of decay, and there they were: two rogue Nomu, unleashed by Shigaraki to sow chaos, their forms grotesque.

One was hulking, multi-armed, with exposed brains like USJ's beast; the other sleek, insectoid, with bladed limbs and glowing eyes. My knowledge clicked-Shigaraki, guided by All For One, my father, hated Stain's ideology and wanted him dead. These Nomu were his tools, a distraction to flush out the Hero Killer.

The hulking Nomu charged, four arms swinging, each punch cracking pavement. I flared my green aura, ki boosting strength, dodging with Saiyan speed. "Protego!" I cast, a magical shield blocking a claw, sparks flying.

The insectoid Nomu darted, blades slicing air. I internalized my aura, sensing its ki, and sidestepped, landing a Kinetic Glove punch at 30%, cratering the hulking Nomu's chest.

It roared, regenerating, but slower than USJ's monster. Burnin arrived, flames blazing, but the Nomu's hide resisted. "Midoriya, fall back!" she yelled. I shook my head, aura flaring again. "I've got this."

I used Transform, shifting into a steel golem, Saiyan durability amplified. The hulking Nomu's punches dented my form but dealt no pain. I reverted, apparating behind it with a crack, casting Sectumsempra. Wandless slashes cut its arms, black blood spraying, slowing its regeneration.

The insectoid Nomu lunged, blades aiming for my neck. I internalized my aura, sensing its ki trajectory, and dodged, ki-fueled speed a blur. I countered with a 30% kick, Kinetic Glove amplifying, sending it crashing through a wall.

The hulking Nomu regenerated, charging with a roar. I flared my aura, ki surging, and unleashed a flurry of punches, each a sonic boom, cracking its skull. Stupefy stunned it, eyes glazing, giving me a window. I used Accio, summoning debris-bricks, pipes-pummeling its brain. It staggered, and I landed a ki-charged uppercut, sending it skyward, echoing All Might's USJ slam. It crashed, unmoving, pavement shattered.

The insectoid Nomu recovered, blades flashing, speed rivaling mine. I internalized my aura, sensing its erratic ki, and apparated to its flank. Transform made me a dragon, wings beating, claws raking its hide.

It screeched, blades cutting scales, but Saiyan durability held. I reverted, casting Incendio, flames engulfing it. Its regeneration faltered, and I flared my aura, ki boosting a final 30% punch, Kinetic Glove roaring. The Nomu exploded into a wall, limbs twitching, defeated.

I panted, aura internalizing, ki conserved. The alley was a wreck, but no civilians were harmed. Burnin gaped, "Kid, you're unreal." Sidekicks secured the Nomu, calling for containment.

My comms crackled-Endeavor's voice. "Midoriya, two Nomu? League's work. Stain's still out there. Report back." I nodded, senses scanning-no Stain, but Iida's absence screamed danger. I texted him: "Two Nomu down. Where are you?" No reply.

Back at the agency, Endeavor debriefed, flames low but intense. "Shigaraki's flooding Hosu with Nomu to kill Stain. You're proving your worth, Midoriya, but don't get reckless."

I nodded, hiding my fear-Iida was out there, chasing death. Burnin grinned, "You're a monster, kid." My Saiyan core, ki-fueled, felt ready, but Stain loomed, and All For One's shadow-my father's-grew darker. Tomorrow, I'd find Iida, stop his revenge, and face the Hero Killer's blade.

Some time later

His silence, his rage over Tensei's crippling by Stain, screamed danger. My knowledge knew canon Iida's fate: a near-fatal clash with the Hero Killer. I couldn't let that happen.

The Gacha System's neon interface flared as I prepared for patrol, its mechanical voice sharp.

System Notice: Heroic alignment exceptional. User's restraint and protection of peers align with balanced growth. New pull authorized.

My heart raced-a pull now, with Stain's threat looming? The kaleidoscope spun, colors flashing: swords, orbs, glowing sigils. It settled, a radiant symbol pulsing.

Pull Result: Perk - Resurrection (A-Tier). Grants ability to revive one being per day to full health, regardless of time of death. No limitations on target or condition. Integrates into user's abilities.

I froze, breath catching. Resurrection? One person a day, fully restored, no matter when they died? This wasn't just power-it was rewriting fate. My Saiyan strength, Transform, and Harry Potter magic were tools of combat; this was a miracle.

My mind raced to Tensei, crippled and near death by Stain's blade, and to Iida, consumed by revenge. Could I use this to save him? To undo Stain's damage? The system offered no limits, only a daily cap.

I internalized my aura, ki steadying my resolve. Tonight's patrol would be critical-Iida was out there, chasing Stain, and I had to find him.

_______________

Endeavor's agency was a hive of tension, sidekicks like Burnin mapping Stain's latest sightings. Reports confirmed the worst: Tensei had died hours ago, his body too weak to fight on.

My heart sank. Iida's rage would consume him now. I texted him again: "I heard about Tensei. I'm here, talk to me." No reply, his silence a scream of intent. My knowledge flagged canon: Iida faced Stain alone in an alley, nearly dying. I had to find him before that happened.

Endeavor briefed us, flames roaring, blue eyes fierce. "Midoriya, south district again. Stain's active-no Nomu tonight, but don't let your guard down." I nodded, internalizing my aura, Saiyan senses scanning-heartbeats, faint ki signatures.

The south district was a ghost town, alleys dark, air heavy with fear. I led the patrol, sidekicks trailing, my aura internalized to sense ki-civilians, sidekicks, but no Stain, no Iida. I flared my aura briefly, ki boosting my senses, scanning deeper. A faint, frantic ki-Iida's?-pulsed in a distant alley, but before I could pursue, a scream echoed nearby.

I sprinted, Saiyan speed blurring, sidekicks struggling to keep up. An alley revealed a bloodied hero, not Stain's victim but a mugging gone wrong-Stain hadn't struck here.

I stabilized the hero with a quick Episkey spell, healing minor cuts, and handed them to Burnin. "Keep searching," I said, aura internalizing again, ki steady. Iida's ki flickered stronger now, moving fast-too fast. He was hunting, alone.

I apparated to a rooftop, scanning Hosu's skyline. No Nomu tonight, but Stain's presence loomed-blood in alleys, fear in the air. I tried Iida's comms: "Iida, report your location!" Static.

My heart raced-he'd gone rogue. I flared my aura, ki surging at 30%, and leaped across rooftops, senses locked on his ki. I had to reach him before Stain did.

Iida's POV

The alleys of Hosu were a maze, each shadow a potential hiding place for Stain. My engines roared, pushing me faster, glasses fogged with sweat and tears.

Tensei's death-confirmed by a hospital call-had shattered me. "You're not a hero," I muttered, imagining Stain's face. Manual's orders to stick with the team were ignored; I'd find the Hero Killer alone.

My kicks were ready, my speed unmatched-except by Midoriya, but he wasn't here. An alley loomed, blood on the ground. Stain? I charged, heart pounding, ready to end him.

Izuku's POV

I landed in an empty alley, Iida's ki fading-he was moving too fast, too reckless. My comms crackled-Burnin. "Midoriya, get back here! You're not solo!"

I ignored her, aura internalized, tracking Iida. Stain's ki was out there too, sharp and cold, but I couldn't pinpoint it. My mind raced to Resurrection. Tensei was dead, but I could bring him back-full health, no matter the time.

The system's perk was clear: one being per day, no limits. I could undo Stain's cruelty, but Iida didn't know, and his rage would lead him to death.

I apparated to a quiet rooftop, away from sidekicks, and focused. Resurrection wasn't a spell-it was a perk, integrated into me like Transform. I visualized Tensei, his hospital bed, his broken body.

My Saiyan ki surged, not for combat but for will, green aura flaring briefly. "Tensei Iida," I whispered, "come back." A pulse of energy left me, warm and radiant, unlike my combat ki.

Somewhere, in Hosu's hospital, Tensei's heart would beat again, his spine healed, his life restored. My Analytical Mind confirmed: the perk worked, one use today. Iida's family would find him alive, but Iida was gone, chasing Stain, unaware.

I flared my aura, ki boosting my speed, and pursued Iida's ki. Alleys blurred, my senses locked on his frantic signature. Stain's ki grew sharper-closer. I apparated again, landing in a dark alley, blood on the walls.

No Nomu, no civilians-just the Hero Killer's shadow and Iida's fading trail. I texted Uraraka: "Iida's after Stain. Hosu's south district. Tell Manual." Her reply was instant: "Be careful, Deku!" My heart warmed, but time was running out.
