The first half of his words made her blush deepen, but the second half instantly killed most of her excitement.
"Jepack, you jerk!" She gritted her teeth, glaring at him. "Fine, I'll lend it to you—but on one condition. If you ever save up enough to leave this island, you have to tell me beforehand. No sneaking away!"
She pulled out 100,000 beri from her pocket and handed it over.
"I like you the most, Guina—how could I ever leave without saying goodbye?"
Jepack took the money, thrilled, and impulsively hugged her.
Then he jumped up from the grass, too excited to notice anything unusual about her.
Her face was burning crimson, like a sunset sky.
"Come on, let's head back!"
He grabbed her small hand and ran toward the dojo.
