"What are your orders, my lady?" Althea asked, as I finished talking to Big Bro in my mind.
"You're going to lead it." I replied with a smile.
"Lead what?" I reached my hand out, taking the Solslicer from Althea's grasp. The blade was immaculate… and empty.
"My project. I can't do it alone, Althea. So, you'll lead it. With a bit of help." I told her, turning toward the entrance to the Initiative Stronghold.
And with that, I began unraveling energy from my Demon Lord Seed, running it through my stomach. As the energy began to overwhelm my stomach's capacity, I began sending the energy out, as I refined it.
Carefully, I condensed the soul-energy from my seed into a ball in front of me, as I refined it into usable energy through my stomach, 1% at a time. Luckily for me, I had Curiosity, otherwise I'd have never been able to refine and control that much energy. Even so, 1% at a time was my limit, so as soon as I got to that limit, I began unfurling the energy, transmitting it wherever it needed to go. Big Bro could've used his magic abilities to instantly do what I was doing, but it took me nearly five minutes to finish the job myself.
…
(3rd POV)
"Damn those monsters. First, they take my income, now they're taking my soldiers!" Just thinking about it threw Earl Migam into a rage, so he threw the expensive teacup in his hand at the nearest wall, startling the young servant boy who'd prepared it and making him flinch back in fear.
"Well?!" Migam shouted at the servant, "Clean it up and prepare me another one."
The boy hesitated for a moment. "Now!"
"My apologies, my lord." The boy immediately raced to clean the teacup shards, but yelped in pain as he accidentally cut himself on a shard.
"Boy, if you get your blood on this expensive carpet, I swear-!"
"You'll die." A voice finished for the Earl.
"Who are you and how did you get in here?!" The sudden intrusion surprised Migam so much that he actually tripped backward, but he tried to put on an air of authority anyways.
"Executioner. Don't worry, Former Earl. I'm still waiting for Judge and Jury to finish up, so you'll live a few more minutes." Migan staggered to his feet, face red with rage. His eyes met with a girl's. She looked to be about fifteen, with short white hair not hiding a pair of cat ears, blue eyes, and black striped tattoos running down her arms. She wore a uniform that was entirely white and stared impassively at him with her arms crossed.
"How did you get past my guards!?" Migam shouted.
"Don't worry. We haven't hurt them yet. Judge and Jury are investigating them, too. Anyone involved in anything that goes against the laws of the Council of the Western Nations, or Farmus, will be killed on the spot. If you're clean, then you'll be perfectly fine." The lycanthrope explained.
"What is a lycanthrope doing interfering in Farmus's internal affairs?!"
"Actually, you see, I'm a monster. Well, more of a majin, really. Name's Sadie White. And you…" Sadie trailed off for a second, cocking her head as if she was listening to an invisible person, which she was, via telepathy, "Have been misappropriating funds that you were legally required to commit to border defense for multiple decades now, Earl Migam. Your guards are fully aware of it, and some have been paid off in order to ensure their silence. You're also running a slavery racket out of your prison, under the radar, cooperating with the known criminal outfit, Cerberus, in order to do so. You're a bad, bad man, Earl Migam."
"St-Stay away from me, you monster!" The Earl pulled a dagger out of nowhere, but Sadie simply snorted. He was too lazy, weak, and fat to pose any sort of threat to Sadie, even if that pathetic little dagger had been Legendary-grade.
"Kid, the people I'm working with, they're looking for people willing to help others and work to keep as many people from suffering like you have. Would you be up for that?" The kid nodded rapidly.
"Alright, then. Get outside, and my subordinates will help you out, okay?"
"Okay!" The boy immediately picked himself up off the floor and ran away.
Behind him, Sadie turned back to address Migam again. "Don't worry. The citizens in your domain will be safer than they've ever been before." She said, "And I'm sure that the new government will find someone far more competent to manage your domain once you're gone."
Sadie's hand expanded, suddenly becoming covered in white fur, as she animalized her fist.
"Who cares about my domain!? I just want to live, please! I-I'll give you everything I have, more, please! Just let me go!" At this point, Migam was begging and sobbing. It was pathetic.
"Everything you have, came from stepping on the backs of the people that you were charged with supporting and protecting. You make me sick." Sadie spat, "Nothing you do is going to change the fate that you created, by your own greed. Die."
Suddenly, the earl's head was on the ground, and Sadie was standing behind him. With a small shake of her hand, the blood from Migam's neck splattered all over the wall, none of it getting on the carpet, as he fell onto the ground, dead as a doornail.
"Don't worry." Sadie muttered to the headless body, "We'll make sure to sell everything that you bought with that government money and funnel it back into Farmus, where it should've gone in the first place."
